Knitting and life They’re both about beginnings…and endings. That’s why Lydia Goetz, owner of A Good Yarn on Seattle’s Blossom Street, offers a class called Knit to Quit. It’s for people who want to quit something–or someone –and start a new phase of their lives. First to join is Phoebe Rylander, who’s trying to get over a man. Alix Turner and her husband want a baby, so she has to quit … so she has to quit smoking. And Bryan Hutchinson needs a way to deal with the stress of running his family’s business.
Then there’s Lydia’s friend Anne Marie Roche. She and her adopted daughter, Ellen, have finally settled into a secure and happy routine–when a stranger appears, asking questions.
Meanwhile, Lydia and her husband, Brad, have their hands full with the angry, defiant twelve-year-old who unexpectedly becomes their foster child.
But when your life and your stitches get snarled, your friends can always help

I like Debbie Macomber’s characters: they seem to be real people facing real problems and yet they are optimistic too.
Macomber never fails to come through with excellent reads.
Love the Blossom Street series
The books by Debbie Macomber are always a good read. They keep my attention, even the second time around-
The “Blossom Series” is full of interesting characters that you begin to care about.
I like Debbie MacComber, and I especially enjoy her stories about the knitting store. Sometimes good patterns, too.
Love the way the lives of the characters are entwined and they all are there for each other. Well written.
Debbie Macomber has a style that is easy to read, but keeps you coming back for more. It is hard to put the book down. Great characters with a excellent story line. I have read almost every book she has written. The Cedar Cover series is awesome.
Have read all the Blossom Street books and have totally enjoyed them all. They are all easy reading and entertaining. Especially enjoyed the fact that each book has new characters and you get to catch up with the ones in prior books.
You can’t go wrong with Debbie Macomber. Her books are always interesting and keep me reading until, unfortunately, the last page has been reached. And you don’t have to worry about your children or grandchildren picking it up, as Dolly Parton said, nothing dirty going on here.
Nice to visit with characters from previous books.
I luv all of her books but especially loved this series.
love the series from this writer
I feel like her characters are old friends, and I look forward to each installment. They don’t come often enough is my only regret.
I love Debbie Macomber’s books. I read for enjoyment and I certainly enjoy everything about her books. I’ve especially enjoyed this series as I feel like I really know all of the characters and look forward to meeting them again.
You can always enjoy a Debbie Macomber book. She picks characters of all ages and is realistic about the situations that they encounter.
I love the characters that she creates.
This is one book of a series. The whole series is so good. I love anything Debbie Macomber writes. This involves a knitting shop and the different ladies drawn there to learn or expand their knowledge of knitting. Wonderful book!
A good summer read. Not to deep, but one that you can identify with and development of the characters was good. This is one of a series, and the sething is in my state, so it makes more interesting when you knew the area.
Once again Debbie M. did a good job. All her books are good. I loved all of the Bolssom Street books. Highly recommend.
