Knitting and life They’re both about beginnings…and endings. That’s why Lydia Goetz, owner of A Good Yarn on Seattle’s Blossom Street, offers a class called Knit to Quit. It’s for people who want to quit something–or someone –and start a new phase of their lives. First to join is Phoebe Rylander, who’s trying to get over a man. Alix Turner and her husband want a baby, so she has to quit … so she has to quit smoking. And Bryan Hutchinson needs a way to deal with the stress of running his family’s business.
Then there’s Lydia’s friend Anne Marie Roche. She and her adopted daughter, Ellen, have finally settled into a secure and happy routine–when a stranger appears, asking questions.
Meanwhile, Lydia and her husband, Brad, have their hands full with the angry, defiant twelve-year-old who unexpectedly becomes their foster child.
But when your life and your stitches get snarled, your friends can always help

love her books and have read almost all of hers
I love this series and have read it more than once. Knitting and reading are my two favorite things.
Each of the Blossom Street books is heartwarming and very interesting. A great read!
I read this book several years ago and found it very delightful. The characters enountered many different issues and challenges which are normal in today’s world. It was very easy to read and hard to put down. I eventually read the entire Blossom Street series which I truly enjoyed catching up with the characters from previous books.
Good read. Enjoyed
I read this book a long time ago and it’s stayed with me since I lived in Seattle. When a book stays with a reader for over ten years, you know it’s a great story!
Love all the Blossom St books! Characters are real.
I love the characters developed by Debbie Macomber. I always walk away from her stories feeling good and hopeful!
Slow reading. No surprises
Debbie is a great author. I enjoy her books a lot.
Most dependable of authors for clean, relaxing enjoyment…
This was a solid, easy read that I finished inside of a day. The characters were likable and there was enough going on in the book to be entertaining. Some of the romantic conflict was resolved just a bit too quickly for my taste, but I don’t think it impacted the overall quality of the book.
This is a great book and reminds me of M. Binchey’s stories.
Loved all the characters and you will too
Classic Debbie Macomber! With characters you feel are friends, this series leaves you wishing for more.
