4 1/2 stars. What a fun new series from Jill!! This is an awesome story that has a bit of suspense to go along with the romance and a fantastic bunch of characters that are all introduced, but the love story is about Dylan and Zoey. These two have some serious chemistry! Zoey is part of a group of girls who all met at a summer camp 10 years earlier and now they are all investors in turning that same camp into something new for adults. Lots of things happening here. I just love that the plot will continue into the next book. I look forward to the rest of this series!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC!
Zoey together with friends invest money in the camp, where they spent summers long time ago. They opened camp for adults thinking it will be easier than overlooking kids. They had to hire a lot of people to do all stuff around camp. Three brothers (Dylan, Liam, Owen ) are looking for their father, they thinking that he is hiding somewhere around camp. While looking for him, Dylan meets Zoey and they start to spend a lot of time together.
Dylan hides his reason and name while working. Will Zoey be able to forgive him his lies?
I loved the story, characters.
Summer Nights by Jill Sanders a five-star read that you will want to run away to camp with. This is book one of the Wildflowers and I foresee them being beautiful and unique like the flowers and girls who inspire them. This time it’s the turn of Zoey Rowlett to give us her story, a story of how there came to be a group of girls who inspire you to love like sisters. I didn’t know what to expect form this one, but it delivered in spades, it was so much more than I imagined it would be, I snorted wine out of my nostrils, I fell in love with older couples and giggled like a crazy person at their antics, (it was like being at a work party at times). I loved it so hard, I plan on getting this for my friends who don’t believe what I tell them about work, I manage a housing complex for the over 55’s. So, this to me was like work in the sunshine but so much more!! I have to give special mention to the Youngs, they were just stand out to me, even more than a certain trio of brothers at times. I will be eagerly awaiting number two coming out.
Summer Nights (Wildflowers, #1) by Jill Sanders … This is the first book in the WILDFLOWERS series… thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview and review this book. Zoey ( her sister Scarlett , Hannah, Aubrey and Elle (grandfather owned River Camp) They all spent their summers at the camp and became closer than sisters…they called themselves the Wildflowers) As adults they to open the camp year round for adults …This is where Dylan( his brothers Owen and Liam) enter the story….using fake last names they get jobs at the camp to solve the mystery of their missing father. Lots of secrets, mystery, laughter, tears, throw in a bear, crazy lady and some steamy sex…all to get to a very HEA. forward to the next book in the series.
I loved the description of this book. Who could pass up a story about adult summer camp? Five friends, called the Wildflowers, return to the camp that was such a big part of their childhood. They intend to re-open the camp, as a retreat for couples.
I struggled to finish this book. I was a little overwhelmed by all the characters and the many plotlines. It felt like there was too much going on and I was having trouble keeping up. Because of that, there wasn’t enough emphasis put on the main characters, Zoey and Dylan. I really wasn’t attached to Zoey or Dylan and I didn’t feel much chemistry between them as a couple.
A smart, sexy romance with a touch of suspense, Jill Sanders is quickly becoming an automatic one-click favorite. I truly enjoyed getting to know these well written cast of characters and hope there’ll be more books in this series.
I really enjoyed reading this book!
It’s an intriguing, sexy & funny story.
A great start to this new series!
10 years ago, two sisters, met three girls, at sleep away camp. If they had met anywhere else, who knows if they would of became friends. But then, now
& forever, the five Wildflowers, will
always be sisters.
When Elle’s beloved grandfather passed away, she came up with a brilliant idea that involved to girls, & that would better
everyone’s life.
Summer Nights, is about Zoe & Dylan’s romance. Will their secrets get in the way
of a possible relationship?
I loved everything about this Must
Read Story!!
An absolutely amazing story of several young girls that come together at summer camp and form their own sister group, The Wildflowers. They each have different problems to work out and each of them are always there for each other but rarely do they trust outside of their circle. Coming together as young adults they decide to reopen the camp as an adult staycation/vacation. Mysteries abound, love sneaks up, crazy people try to hurt. Loved this book and am looking forward to the next one!!
