Scarlett had learned to keep her head down early in life. Zoey, her older sister had always taken the reins, even when it came to helping their mother recover after their father had stolen everything and run off with a woman half his age, leaving the three of them with only their clothes on their backs and Zoey and Scarlett’s measly inheritance. She’d been behind her sister one-hundred-percent in … in investing into River Camps. It had only taken one look at the sexy Levi to convince her that this was where she’d wanted to be.
Levi has been raised by his grandmother, and has searched high and low for the best job around the home she refuses to leave. When he’d learned that River Camps was opening back up, he jumped at the chance to stick close to his ailing grandmother and utilize all his outdoor skills that he loves. But, he hadn’t expected falling so hard for the beautiful and very soft Scarlett.

I love how the Wildflowers are a family and that their family is growing. Scarlett has been protecting her heart since her father left them. Levi was raised by his grandmother and only knew love from her, but he always wondered about his father. Scarlett and Levi met as teenagers. They never forgot each other, but moved on. Or so they thought. They find that things are not always as they seem. Scarlett knows she can trust Levi, but it is hard to let go of old feelings. Will she give in to love? Will Levi be patient while she figures it out?
You will want to read all of the books

Contemporary romance, Second chance: This book leans all its weight in its romance aspect. It is a well written and entertaining part, with nice characters that fill their role with easiness. But there is nothing there that keeps the reader engaged. It follows a clear path and it doesn’t even hint about the possibility of taking a short detour to keep us on our toes. It is way too simple for the number of pages it needs.
Weak: This saga had a great mystery during the first three books, but it was resolved. I was expecting a new one to be started, but nope… nothing at all. The “Who is my daddy?” drama doesn’t even hold a candle and its development is a bit underwhelming. I still have to understand the motivations of some of the characters involved in that part of the plot. I was expecting much more after the last book…
The next book is the last one of this saga. That came as a surprise, because there are still plenty of characters that could have their own books. Maybe the author will recycle them in some other saga.
This is Scarlett and Levi’s story in the series. Both have trauma from their childhood and as they work to overcome it, the past comes back with answers they aren’t expecting. They will need the love of family and the ability to let go of past hurts to find their happily ever after.
Let’s go back to camp! The Wildflowers, a group of girls who met at camp as children and became like sisters, have renovated their childhood camp into an adult version of camp. The unique aspect of this series is that each book covers an event from a previous book from a different character’s perspective and then builds the story out further from there. In this book we follow Scarlett, who has been in lust with Levi since they met as teens years ago, but was left hurt and distrustful after their brief encounter all those years ago. Follow along as Levi tries to figure out what he did and how to win her back over while Scarlett goes on the defensive. Well plotted with interesting twists to keep you entertained as well as a heavy dose of sex to keep you heated and turning the pages. This needs to be on your summer “beach read” list even if you don’t make it further than the couch!
Loved this sexy, fun and heartwarming romance filled with engaging charters, witty dialog, emotional twists and undeniable passion. Was a highly entertaining and exciting journey for this sweetly thrilling couple. Excellent reading!
This is such a good book!
Another enjoyable story in the series.
It’s a feel-good, sexy, moving
& intriguing romance.
Scarlett & Levi, met many years ago
at River Camps, the one she & the other Wildflowers went to every summer.
Till one summer, when her whole life
as she knew it, was turned upside down.
Scarlett, co-owns the camp that is now
for adults, where Levi is also working.
Levi, grew up in the same town as camp.
As hard as he’s tried for two years,
Scarlett still avoids him.
Maybe it’s time she tells him why.
I loved everything about this
Must Read Story!!
Loved this story!
Best story of the group so far. I loved Levi and Scarlet. These two are the best together.
Can’t wait to see how Aubrey and Aiden fall
She hates him, but why? This question is on Levi’s mind for past year or more, since Wildflowers are back and running the camp.
There was time when Scarlett liked Levi very much, then she learn something else.
Now they are working together and attraction is there. Will Levi find out why, she doesn’t like him? There is someone who is ready to take him away too…
Loved the story of Scarlett and Levi. Each book about Wildflowers is great and this one is awesome too.
Another great book in the Wildflowers series with all the feels, some mayhem from different factors and some surprises popping out…and in the end love wins
