He’s smug, conceited … and hot as hell … smile. I’ve spent my whole life working towards this moment, and I can’t let myself fall for his good looks, no matter how much I crave him.
But long hours and close quarters are a combination neither of us can resist, and soon heat at the office turns into a wicked night in bed. We’re total opposites … can we really make it work for more than a night of pleasure?

Simply Awesome….

Another awesome book from page one Saint and Braxton got off on the wrong foot and they kept going from there.
Opposites truly do attract even when someone is making assumptions or saying the wrong thing these two were simply electrifying together.

Misconceptions, miscommunications, and assumptions can be very destructive. We all battle with feelings of self worth and doubt at varying levels. Saint deals with never feeling good enough, from growing up in the shadow of a successful older brother, and an ex boyfriend who told him so. Braxton’s perception of his stepfather and money runs through his mind daily. Putting his foot in his mouth doesn’t help, but he keeps doing it time and time again. The first time Saint and Braxton meet doesn’t exactly go well; neither does the second one. Only, Braxton needs it to, because he wants this job. Turns out Saint would he his boss…IF he got the job, that is.
I loved this story. It was well written and I had a hard time hitting pause a few times. The narration was superb, and easily brought the story to life.
This is book 2 in the series. It can be listened to as a standalone, but the Caldwells are a lovable family, so I believe you will want to listen to more. I know I do! The last chapter sets up the premise for the next book, making me really want to find out what happens!
Suited For You by Aiden Bates & Ali Lyda is the second book in the Brotherly Love series. This is a contemporary m/m romance that involves a workplace romance between lawyers, an enemies to lovers theme. This was great! There is a touch of angst, definitely not meet-cute story here. There is steam and sweetness and fun too. I liked the characters and the story. Excited for next book.
This enemies to lovers romance was everything you come to expect from these two authors. Both Braxton and Saint had depth which made them feel real, there was love, drama and family bonds. I didn’t love Braxton all the time just like I didn’t love Saint all the time but I definitely empathized with both and hopefully we will see more of the Caldwell brothers find love and get a glimpse into Braxton and Saint in the future.
Well, these two MCs sure didn’t hold any punches. I liked how the author played up personal insecurities angle in this story, rather than creating some external crisis into the mix. It was a well written story of how a relationship can implode because of preconceived notions and unresolved issues. I also, as in part one, really like the secondary characters and the setting of the story. The family plays a big role in these books and all the characters are really intriguing in their own right. Definitely looking forward to more.
Braxton had the bad luck to have a run in with a future job prospect on the last tortuous day with his old firm. Fueled by frustration and anger with that situation, he really vented on the new apparently egotistical rich dude who parked illegally in a handicap spot and ran into a massage parlor. Naturally he didn’t know the guy was his next interview- nor did he know Saint really was just running in on a break to get gift certificates for the guys at his office.
Pride, prejudice and misconceptions are courted, dismissed and come to the fore once again.
Workplace romance with added personal baggage hurdles
