Agent Abby Kane discovers an unlikely connection with a lone little girl abandoned outside FBI headquarters: They look exactly alike.Abby brings the girl home with her to learn more, thinking a family environment might jog the girl’s memory. Abby’s efforts pay off as the investigation points … as the investigation points toward a human trafficking ring. But as Abby gets to know the girl, she begins to think the girl wasn’t kidnapped or trafficked. She was sent.
Others want to prevent Abby from discovering the true nature of the girl’s purpose and are willing to do anything to silence her before she regains her memory. Suitcase Girl is book one in the Suitcase Girl trilogy and is a perfect introduction to the Abby Kane FBI series (Books 7,8,9). I love writing trilogies within the series. Don’t worry about starting with Suitcase Girl. It’ll sink its claws into you.
more
The story, characters, and interactions are all good. The sub-plots interesting and the weaving together of all the threads are very enjoyable. The book is easy to read but I cannot give a higher rating because of the fact that it doesn’t end. If I knew before getting the book, I wouldn’t have bothered. I find it obnoxious to read a book to find out you have to buy two more to resolve the main story.
I really liked this. I’m interested to see where it goes. It has to be pretty good for me to want to stay on in a series. Keeping track of who is who was a little difficult though.
I enjoyed this book but you have to read the next 2 books to find out what happens.
I would recommend this book
This book makes you think about how real it could be.
Enjoyed page turner
Ending ????
Peaked my interest. Definitely want to read the sequels!
It was a good read
Good story line and entertaining
Great read need to get the next books in the story.
What I missed was a more conclusive ending not an ending that leaves you hanging with the sole purpose of buying a second book to finish the story with no promise that buying the second book would be better ending that would require the purchase of a third book to finish the story. Very dsappointed with the way the first book ended.
Loved this. Completely edge of the couch reading.
dull
A tragic but entertaining suspenseful story which kept me intriqued to the very end.
This book was excellent
will finish this before I sleep tonight
The book actually started off well and held my interest almost to the end. It was a good story until the author went off into the twilight zone with a very strange, unsatisfying ending which, evidently, is intended to entice us to read the next book in the series. Too weird for me – I’m not willing to buy the next book to find out how Suitcase Girl ends. My recommendation is to skip it.
The ending of this book was a huge cliff-hanger. There are multiple unanswered questions that can’t be solved without reading the next book in the series.
This is a fabulous book and I truly enjoyed it, even reading much of it aloud tk my husband. However, spoiler alert- the ending leaves much hanging- perhaps for a second novel. Just saying- loved the book! Hated how it ended so suddenly.
I mostly loved the book, however I did not like that it had absolutely no closure. I do not like to be forced to read Additional books to find out what happens.
