Imagine finding a suitcase with a little girl stuffed inside and realizing she looks exactly like you.
Agent Abby Kane discovers an unlikely connection with a lone little girl abandoned outside FBI headquarters: They look exactly alike.Abby brings the girl home with her to learn more, thinking a family environment might jog the girl’s memory. Abby’s efforts pay off as the investigation points … as the investigation points toward a human trafficking ring. But as Abby gets to know the girl, she begins to think the girl wasn’t kidnapped or trafficked. She was sent.
Others want to prevent Abby from discovering the true nature of the girl’s purpose and are willing to do anything to silence her before she regains her memory. As Abby continues to dig, indicators suggest something else is at play, something unthinkable… and quite frankly, unexplainable. Who is Suitcase Girl?

Suitcase Girl is book one in the Suitcase Girl trilogy and is a perfect introduction to the Abby Kane FBI series (Books 7,8,9). I love writing trilogies within the series. Don’t worry about starting with Suitcase Girl. It’ll sink its claws into you.

Every thing you read regarding this story is true. Wow such a powerful story. So will not write a review i will offer a challenge “i double dog dare you to read book one and not buy the next in the series…. good luck
Loved the book and the characters. I didn’t want to put the book down. The only exception was it left you hanging at the very end. Is there more to the story that will be taken up in the next book or is this chapter over? I guess I have to read the next book in the trilogy to find out.
So many twists and turns I was intrigued to the end. . .
Suitcase Girl is set in modern-day San Francisco, a town with many dark secrets. Abby is Chinese—originally from Hong Kong—and much of the story centers around Asians. Many are good, but some are bad—really bad. Combine that with sex trafficking, rogue science, and violence, and you’ve got a story that doesn’t let you breathe. It’s as if the author wants you to be as tense and focused as Abby.
If you enjoy crime thrillers that feel like the bass line in a Nirvana song, then grab this book. Trust me—it’s fun.
Love this series.
This was my first read by this author and I am so glad I gave his book a try.. I purchased the trilogy and just finished it. I have never read a book with this story line before and must say the concept is kind of scary. I recommend this series and will definitely be reading more of his books.
Kept me interested the whole time
Really enjoyed it. This book is the one that guided me into this author’s other works which I highly recommend. Take a moment for yourself today!
Page turner with very relatable characters
I found the premise of the story intriguing. Characters interesting.
The reason I gave it four starts instead of five is that I wasn’t wild about reaching the end of the book and not having more resolved around the girl. I get that it is a series which is fine but I would have been interested in reading more even if I had more about her. I have some idea of where the story is heading from the first book and titles of the following ones, but didn’t being left hanging as much as I was.
Otherwise, rich, original story.
I did not expect the outcome at the end. Great book and characters. I will continue to read more of Ty Hutchinson’s books.
A true page-turner.
Well rounded plot with well developed characters. An interesting story that I couldn’t put down.
Still reading so far page turner
