The New York Times bestselling “taut, sophisticated thriller” (BCCB, starred review) packed with twists and turns that will leave you breathless. They say Delia burned herself to death in her stepfather’s shed. They say it was suicide. But June doesn’t believe it. June and Delia used to be closer than anything. Best friends in that way that comes before everyone else–before guys, before family. … everyone else–before guys, before family. It was like being in love, but more. They had a billion secrets, binding them together like thin silk cords.
But one night a year ago, everything changed. June, Delia, and June’s boyfriend Ryan were just having a little fun. Their good time got out of hand. And in the cold blue light of morning, June knew only this–things would never be the same again.
And now, a year later, Delia is dead. June is certain she was murdered. And she owes it to her to find out the truth…which is far more complicated than she ever could have imagined.
Sexy, dark, and atmospheric, Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls will keep you guessing until the very last page.more
Suicide Notes From Beautiful Girls first caught my eye because of the title. After reading the blurb, I knew this was one I had to read. Thankfully, it lived up to my expectations. I was constantly trying to guess “who done it.” I was never 100% sure about anyone or anything. Delia and June’s story kept me enthralled in the mystery and turning over different theories until the very last page. Fans of Pretty Little Liars will devour this story and want more.
I did not have any expectations when I started reading Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls, but wow it was a roller coaster ride, from beginning to end. I actually read the ending multiple times and it is still on my mind as a write this.
From the beginning, June and Delia’s friendship was complicated, to say the least. They go from being inseparable to not speaking so when Delia’s committed suicide, June doesn’t believe it and goes on a quest to find out the truth. As June searches for answers, she stumbles upon even more questions that make her whole word change.
This book has so many twists that I realized I was not reading a normal mystery suicide. The characters have flaws and the only person I ever believed in was June. I would love to hear your thoughts on the ending!

I thought the author wrote a wonderful book, about teenage struggle, with some dark twists that I didn’t see coming. It was a genuine page turner, with an ending that shocked me to say the least. I don’t want to say much, as I don’t want to ruin the book.
This is my favorite book that I’ve EVER read!!! I absoulty love this author and own multiple books of hers.
Erm, what the fuck? That is what I am feeling at the end of this book, can we pretend the ending didn’t happen? If we did then this book would have been so much better, like cancel the ending then it would be a semi-okay book. The story follows June as she hears that her best friend she lost contact with Delia has killed herself and she begins to try and find out what happened to her which sends her in loads of crazy different directions. I think this is a story where you cannot trust anyone, everyone is lying to June and she knows this and tries to figure out the truth.
June she was a good character but I felt she was a little naive at times she believed things so easy, from Delia’s boyfriend telling her she was murdered to her boyfriend lying about the small things. I didn’t really like the character I really didn’t care actually, to be honest, I barely cared about any of these characters. I only started to care when a relationship began to form between June and Sebastian which was right at the end before this book went bad.
Delia, I did not trust her at all she was not trustworthy and I think it shows June was just relying on the person she used to know. She did drugs and was drinking a lot of alcohol, I did not know what was true. I didn’t know if Delia was lying or telling the truth to me she was always lying and she wasn’t very honest. I didn’t like her.
(Will contain Spoilers)
The plot in this book was it was madness, if we forget what happened at the end we discover that Delia is not dead and that she faked her own death because of the family life I could get that and I could understand that. Sometimes it is needed to get away from situations in life I could get all that. If the writer had left it at that I could have totally been fine with this book but she didn’t. She made them kill her stepfather because he apparently raped her, we don’t know if that is true June begins to doubt it because of her story. They killed him and Delia’s boyfriend but what took this story and destroyed it for me is the end Delia kills June because she won’t go with them. I hated that ending it was the worse ending possible I’m not saying that because I’m sad about the ending I’m not it just didn’t make sense.Well if she even kills June it’s not very clear at all what happened but it’s still WTF?!
In gorgeous prose that casts a sometimes wistful, often searing eye on teen girl friendships, Lynn Weingarten’s SUICIDE NOTES FROM BEAUTIFUL GIRLS was everything I wanted from a dark, twisty friendship narrative, and more.
A couple of months since I read this book–and it stays with me. Can’t wait for the next offering from this Author.
Couldn’t see where this was heading.. — then i arrived.. –Whoa! Skin crawl.
Story line never quite coalesced.
At first I thought I knew how the book was going to end but was happily surprised with the actual ending! A fast, easy read!
