From the moment Millie walked into his restaurant looking for a job, Lucas wanted her. But being with her would cause problems. He was her boss and it was against the rules … his rules. Not to mention, as a single father, he couldn’t just let any woman near his son.But Millie was different. He knew she was special from the moment he looked at her.No matter what he planned, Lucas knew he had to … knew he had to have her and he was willing to do whatever it took to claim her as his.
Wanting her boss came with plenty of complications, mainly that Millie knew there was no reason for a man like Lucas to want someone like her.
Gorgeous, intelligent and successful, he wouldn’t be interested in a Plain Jane girl like her.
But when he showed interest, Millie didn’t try to fight the chemistry they had. As Valentine’s Day approached and the restaurant was in full swing with everyone wanting to express their love, Lucas and Millie’s relationship bloomed.
But what would happen if Lucas wanted to take it to the next level?
Could Millie throw caution to the wind and give herself fully to Lucas in the name of love?

Cooking up a family
When this duo merge their muses we are guaranteed to get a book that is sweet and steamy. This book is no exception. What is better than a book where the waitress falls for the boss and finds her HEA. I can’t wait to see what these two ladies cook up next!
Whew! This is one hot and spicy, quick romance!
This is a really quick read with tons of spice, heat, and love.

From the moment Lucas hires Millie, he wants her. He owns high end restaurant and Millie one day hopes to become a chef. Lucas has a rule that he is going to break and he’ll break it with Millie. He feels bad when he has to stop suddenly, while almost on the verge of making love with her. That leaves her wondering what happened and if she is going to be able to keep working there. Both have issues of trust and Lucas is keeping a secret. When Millie finds out, will she run? Or will she finally decide to take a chance on love. After all, isn’t that what Valentines Day is about? A sweet story that I’m sure I will reread several times over!!

I really enjoyed Millie and Lucas’s story! It’s a very fast paced story and romance. Lucas owns a restaurant; he is also a self trained chef to some degree. Millie is a waitress at his restaurant but also currently enrolled in cooking school. They have been attracted to each other since she started but never acted on it. However, things change and things progress very fast. This is a sweet story with a lot of steam plus a cute little boy named Timothy. I really enjoyed this story it was so easy to read with some great characters.
Sweet and Sexy
Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent’s Sugar is Sweet is a perfect Valentine’s Day read, or any day of the year when you want that sexy loving feeling.
Millie and her boss Lucas are super aware of each other and once their defenses of “what’s right and wrong” come down their chemistry explodes across the page. Definitely a good read when you want that satisfying HEA but don’t have hours and hours to read.

Millie has had a crush on Lucas, her boss since the moment she interviewed for the job. He is a celebrity in this town, his restaurant and the food it serves are top notch. Surely nothing can come of her crush, he would never notice a nobody like her. Lucas is so tired of being alone, of resisting the beautiful and sweet Millie. He decides to take a chance on love. Millie is stunned and desperately hopes this isn’t a Valentine’s Day induced dream…
Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent know how to pen sweet little escapes along with longer, hotter stories. Sugar is Sweet is the perfect tale to usher in the most romantic holiday of all. Millie is just like the title, sweet and hardworking. She wants to make something of herself. She admires Lucas and can’t help but be attracted to him. Lucas knows a woman like Millie is special and he sets out to show her just that. I devoured Sugar is Sweet in one bite and I hope we see more quickies like this from this talented duo!
Lucas owns Brick and Stone, a fancy restaurant that Millie Stein works as a waitress at.
Millie has a jones for her boss, Lucas.
Lucas is older, used to really get around, but lately has eased up on the hook ups. He’s got a son and he’s got a jones for his employee, Millie.
Lucas offers to tutor her as she continues to go to culinary school while she’s waitressing at his restaurant.
This Valentine’s Day, he’s going to make her his and introduces her to his son Timothy.
Recommend for sweet and heat.
