Sydney finds more than she bargained for when she gets lost on her way to report for a new job and finds herself at a lifestyle club. Peering in through the window, her attention – and libido – are both snagged by a man delivering some old-fashioned discipline to a young blonde. After he runs Sydney off, both are surprised to discover she is the new chef he’s hired for his ranch.Caden wanted to … wanted to turn away the cheeky woman he’d caught spying on his club without remorse, but desperation for a chef forced his hand. Sydney proves to be a definite asset to his employees, and a royal pain in his butt. Somehow, her penchant for getting lost and landing in trouble, along with her determination to return to the club as a guest, soon slide past his resistance.
It takes a threat to Sydney and unearthing the truth about what made her flee her home in Missouri to force them both to admit their feelings and get her to stay as more than his chef.
Publisher’s Note: This contemporary Western romance contains themes of mystery, suspense, power exchange, and ménage elements and is intended for mature audiences.

Sydney Baker possessed two vices her family despaired of her ever getting under control: a penchant for always getting lost and getting herself into difficult situations. And the day she was supposed to start her new job as the new chef for twenty cowhands at the Dunbar Ranch was no exception to track record. Caden and his brother Connor had taken over the 6,000-acre cattle ranch after their father had retired and then expanded it to include raising Quarter horses. Not only that, but between them and Sheriff Monroe, they owned the BDSM club called ‘The Barn’. And that’s where Sydney found herself peeping in the windows of the locked building after she’d somehow taken the wrong exit. From there on its story that kept me chuckling at her humor, shaking my head at some of her antics, and kept me turning the pages between the titillating scenes, the interaction between the characters, and the family drama. I think I’m going to love this series if this is any indication.
Submitting to the Rancher by BJ Wane – Caden hires a chef to cook for his ranch hands, but Sydney takes the job to run away from trouble in St. Louis. When it becomes clear that her uncle’s gambling troubles have followed her to Montana, Caden wants to step in to keep his new chef safe with him forever. Nice blend of action and romance! Happy Reading!
Whew!! This book was hot hot hot . I thought I was going to combust while reading it! Caden and his grumpiness was sexy!! And Sydney reminded me of me. If you want a quick hot read.. i recommend this one!!
fun read
Liked this book. Will look for more books by this author.
Caden Dunbar had no idea what he was in for when he hired a new cook for the ranch. Sydney Greenbrier is sassy, feisty and irreverent. She is also a walking pack of trouble. He takes her breath away with his rugged good lucks and dominance that oozes out of every pore. Try as he might to ignore her, she is afterall an employee, he can’t because she’s everything he didn’t know he wanted.
I went through this book really quickly. It was a simple romance with some spanking and power exchange. I didn’t really feel the connection between the couple; only that the author said they liked each other. Meaning, they didn’t really click to me as a couple. Otherwise, really good.
I love this book. It has a little bit of everything. You can understand Sydney’s problems, but I am glad she did, it leave and Caden had help in solving her problem. This is an HEA. Enjoy
Here we finally get to read Nan’s story. She is a club submissive and a fun, flirty woman. Then she takes a trip to New Orleans and comes back a changed woman. Master Dan isn’t happy that she has ghosted all of her friends while away and he makes it his business to find out why. Where has their fun, confident Nan gone and why? Can they get back to their friends with club benefits relationship? I love BJ wane. I say it every time I read her books.

I loved this entire trilogy!
Loved the interaction between the characters. Good first book of series!
Terrific BDSM romance!
Caden and Sydney have terrific chemistry right from the start that kicks off the intensity that permeates this book. Caden’s a tough nut to crack, but eventually he realizes he can’t hide from the depth of his feelings for Sydney. Her history is a bit complex, which brings out Caden’s protective caveman side. The romance is steamy and sweet, and these two fight their way to a satisfying HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
It was a great read. A good story with lots of hot sex. Can’t wait to read the next
one.
If you like cowboys, spanking and BDSM, this is definitely the book for you to read. I found it to be a most entertaining and enjoyable escape as the characters went through a myriad of emotional and sensual and sexual progressions. Of course, being a Blushing book, you know there were several instances of a blushing red bottom for the lead female, who of course just happened to come to love it in more than one way. There was also a slowly developing love story between a dom and his sub. And just for extra measure, there was a sinister and threatening element added.
