Will they both let their reluctance to admit they want more from the other cost them everything?Nan Meyers returns to her beloved hometown of Willow Springs a broken woman, ten months after leaving for what was supposed to be a short vacation with her brother. As Dan slowly coaxes Nan back into embracing the pain induced pleasures she once loved, their growing feelings for each other come to the surface. But before either can come to terms with how they feel, the truth about the strange mishaps Nan has been experiencing almost costs her her life. Will Dan get there in time to save her?
This is book four in the Cowboy Doms series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

This was such a good read. This book delivers an enticing and powerful combination of heat, heart, drama, suspense, kink, danger and raw emotion. Nan will make your heart ache and Dan will have your heart beat speeding up. Together they make a wonderful couple that will give you a major case of “The Feels” as their story unfolds.
After a bad experience with a Dom Nan is hesitant to Dan. She has come home to regroup but will Dan be the one to help her get her confidence back and become a part of the life she once loved? This story has elements of BDSM and strong alpha dominants that will keep you glued to the story until the last page.

Wonderful story of healing after trauma.
It takes a crisis to change the status-quo between Dan and Nan, one that challenges their friends-with-club-benefits relationship as Nan struggles to move beyond a horrifying experience.
I loved the support she got from all her friends, Doms and subs alike, and it was wonderful to see Dan fully embrace his feelings for her as he figured out what he needed to do to help her.
Every bit as sensuous as the previous books in this series, this one also examines dangers inherent in the club lifestyle while never letting us wonder where our favorite characters stand on the issue.
As much as I’ve loved the earlier books in this series, this one is my new favorite. There are heroes everywhere in this Montana town, and each book is a beautiful escape for the senses. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
If you’ve read any of the cowboy books by BJ Wane you would be familiar with the characters of Nan & Dan. This couple finally gets their story & while the rhyming names did annoy me somewhat, this is a very satisfying, standalone read. One thing which I particularly love, which this author is very good at, is putting the reader in the minds of the characters. Not just the females, but also the men. This allows the reader an insight into the how & why of what the heroes are thinking. This story dealt with the aftermath of some very trauma to Nan & I think it was written very intelligently & sensitively. This is a great read & I would highly recommend it.
Lawyer up!
I always felt that Dan and Nan had a litlle something, something more than just their hookups at the club. I don’t think they really realized how they actually felt about each other.
Nan has undergone a life changing incident that leaves her traumatized, lost and disconnected from her previous lifestyle.
After a long unexplained absence she returns home where everyone notices a difference in her that she tries to hide and deny.
Dan is persistant and starts to realize what he might have almost lost forever. With a lot of guidance, caring, domming and the help and acceptance from her friends Nan finds joy in her lifestyle and love were she never expected to find it!
This is a fantastic series, so well written! Yes there is chemistry. Sexy BDSM scenes, some danger, mystery and more. But ultimately it is about love and acceptance and self forgiveness.
I think this book is my fave so far (probably till the next one comes out, lol).

Nan left Willow Springs to stay with her brother in New Orleans for three weeks that turned into months. Dan missed her so much and couldn’t understand why she just left. Nan is now back in Willow Springs trying to get her life back in order after her ordeal. She was going to reopen her tea shop her girlfriends came into the shop and questioned her. Nan ran into Dan at the diner. Her once molten feeling around him was cool in part to her ordeal with Gerard who was now in jail until he made bail. Nan went back to the Barn because she knew it may help her. All her friends were there and they welcomed her back. Dan tried his best but for some reason she resisted his touch. Nan was having a rough time trying to get in the swing of things. She remembers the brutality of Gerard her last Dom and what had happened. Dan has made it his mission to find out who did this to her. Nan was feeling just a little better talking to Dan but still hasn’t told him all of what really happened. Nan decides and starts to tell him how she met Gerard. Nan keeps finding things out of whack in her house plus other strange occurrences. Dan is helping Nan to slowly come back to him and their friends. The nights at the Barn had helped her a lot under Dan’s supervision. Twist, turns, kidnapping and attempted murder makes this an exciting book.
This book hauled out all the feels; it is distressing, suspenseful, sexy, hopeful – it has it all. Master Dan and Nan had a friendship with D/s at the club. After Nan visits her brother in New Orleans, though, she goes off radar, and she comes back changed, her confidence in tatters. While all the Doms notice, it’s Master Dan that takes action to retrieve his favorite sub from her thoughts, finding love on the way. This is without doubt my favorite of the series so far; there is something about the characters and the story that really drew me in and kept me from putting the book down. We do meet up again with old friends from earlier books, but this can and does easily stand alone. The new character Pete, though, a veteran with nightmare and substance abuse issues that works for Dan – he brings out every motherly instinct I have.
