I have a type: Tall. Blond. Awkward as hell.Yeah, my type is me. Because I’m better off spending my time alone than with a guy. That’s why I’m on an open-ended ticket to LA to find a new boutique for my fashion label, TRAVESTY. Not to find a rebound for the breakup I should’ve seen coming. I’m ready to forget all about dicks…Too bad Ethan Cameron sinks that dream before I get on the plane. The … that dream before I get on the plane.
The gorgeous Westside realtor might be my business partner’s brother, but he’s the wrong guy to help us. Ethan’s smug and self-centered, with a dentist’s-wet-dream smile. More women pass through the backseat of his car than through the doors of our SoHo boutique.
He’s also wrong for me. And the more he thinks he knows me, the more I need to prove he doesn’t.
I survived private school. Growing up with one parent. Dating a dick. I can survive one month with Ethan. But the more I get to know him, the more I realize he’s not the smooth yes-man he pretends to be.
And that’s dangerous.
For my business. For my friends.
Maybe even for my heart.
Styled is a sexy dual POV romance about dreams, trust, and living without regrets. It’s a standalone in the TRAVESTY series. If you like quick banter, smokin’ hot sex scenes, and characters that feel like they could be your friends? You’ll love Styled.

I liked a lot this book. I started disliking Ethan but ended having a crush on him. Jordan and Ethan story is interesting and fun to read. They couldn’t be more different. They have different points of view regarding life, work, love, friendship and money. However, they will be able to listen to each other and understand each other beliefs and become more than good friends.
Travesty trilogy has become one of my favorite contemporary romance books. What I enjoyed the most in this book is the interaction of characters from the previous books and how their friendship has evolved. Lex, Ava, Dylan and even Nate are great together and dealing with Ethan and Jordan issues.
Great reading.
I loved that it took place partly in LA cause I love it there!
Enjoyed the characters, easy reading and kept me entertained.
I loved this book The characters were believable. I couldn’t put it down
Bored
Great read
I read this whole series and I find them be a quick fun read. I really liked these two together.
Enjoyable reading experience!
Good story
Had a hard time getting into this book. You might like it better than I did. Never finished reading. It didn’t capture my attention.
Read and enjoyed the entire series. Looking forward to more by this author.
Finally, we get to peel back the layers behind Jordan’s aloof, tough girl, nothing gets to me, exterior. She is one tough cookie as she deals with life. She escapes into the numbers and works to fix things for the people she cares about. When she connected with Lex and Ava at Travesty, she found a place to call her own, away from her father’s businesses and expectations. Jordan heads to California to work on expanding Travesty’s retail business in LA. Ethan, oh Ethan, he’s the big brother with a heart of gold but only shows it in very selective situations. Ava asks him to help Jordan find a property for them to lease, he is a hot shot real estate agent. Ethan is also Mr. Cool with the ladies so boy is he shocked when Jordan isn’t captivated with all his charms. As Ethan works to grow his own business in LA, he finds himself drawn more and more to Jordan, distracting him. Jordan is shocked by her reaction to Ethan, he pushes her buttons and really tries to get her out of her shell. I loved that both of these characters were very strong and driven in their careers but were lacking something in their personal lives. They have very different backgrounds and at the same time, find ways to spark what the other needs. I love the entire crew in this series, it’s always fun to experience the group of characters while delving into each one’s own journey.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.
The Travesty series follow the adventures of Lex, Ava and Jordan whose dream it is to make it in the fashion world. In the first two books we read how Lex and Ava found their true love and in ‘Styled’ we can read who Jordan falls for. Although her love interest Ethan Cameron was mentioned in the previous books (being that he’s Ava’s big brother) we never really met him. But in his book we get to know him in every way!!!
Although Lex and Ava started their business without Jordan and Jordan only became a partner later on, it doesn’t mean that the business doesn’t mean everything to her too. No! Jordan works just as hard like the other two girls to make their business a success in this tough world of fashion.
The next step in their business plan is to open a second shop in LA. With Lex busy planning her wedding and Ava needed in New York, it’s up to Jordan to find the perfect location in LA. Luckily, she will get help from Ava’s big brother Ethan, who’s a successful realtor there. Although, Ethan may be successful, he’s also arrogant, charming and more gorgeous then it’s good for him. He’s just a real player.
The first meeting between Jordan and Ethan isn’t a real success but they both have a job to do. And to do that they have to spend a lot of time together. And by doing that both have to confess that their first impression of each other was totally wrong. Because the better they get to know each other the more they like each other. Jordan gets to know the ‘real’ Ethan, the Ethan that his close friends and family know. That man is totally different than the one that the world gets to know. That Ethan is loyal and will help you no matter what! And Ethan gets to know Jordan better, a woman that is very intelligent but also very lonely. During their search for the perfect location for a new Travesty boutique they slowly fall for each other. But what will they do when Jordan’s time in LA is up and is Ethan ready to give up his manwhore ways for one woman?
So, it’s no secret that I love Piper Lawson’s books. Her stories has the perfect balance between emotions, fun and love for me. But with this book I must also confess that it took me a little bit to like Ethan. In the beginning of the book he was really acting like the big player that he was. It was only when we got to know him better that I could connect with him and then just like Jordan I felt for him. The ‘real’ Ethan is loyal, intelligent and charming. We already met Jordan in the previous book. Her character is one that I really enjoyed. Her sarcastic comments, her loyalty for the people that she care about and her no nonsense attitude.
The story takes place in LA. It’s a different location then New York, but a location that I really liked.
But I, especially, loved the love scenes in this story. I will never look the same way at a motorcycle and a swimming pool again!! Piper Lawson knows how to write hot love scenes.
The story is told from both POV’s and there’s no cheating.
For the readers who want to read more about Dylan and Lex I can tell you that in this story you can follow the countdown to their wedding. For the readers who enjoyed the other two books in this series, I can tell you that you will like this one too.
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!
This is a perfectly awesomely steamy and wonderful contemporary romance. I loved absolutely everything about it! This is one of those “stay up too late, neglect the chores, sneak in a paragraph any spare moment I can create” books.
Jordan was fantastic! So unlike any other romance heroine I can recall, she had enough awkwardness and self-doubt to make her realistic. I loved her sarcasm and sense of humor, as well as her exchanges with Ethan.
And Ethan was freaking hot. A playboy for sure, but boy, once he figured out what he wanted, he did not relent.
I’m not sure if subsequent books will follow, but I sure hope so because I want to know more of Jordan and Ethan’s Happy For Now ending!!!!
I loved reading the other characters too, and while I haven’t read their stories yet (not necessary to read this book, but you’re gonna want to!) I can’t wait to get started!
This was my first Piper book, and it will absolutely not be my last. If you like well-written, low-stress, make-you-feel-so-many-emotions-it’s-unreal contemporary romances, then you have found your book!
(I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)
