Life comes at you when you least expect it… never gained… Love. What if a driven single mom lets a sweet and caring widower into her world? Rest assured it’s nothing short of Bee-u-tiful.
This is a great start to this moving second Chance romance. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline is well written and it draws you in from page one till the end.

Katie Belle is one heck of a mom. She loves her daughter, works hard at her job, and is working just as hard at completing her ECE. Her project, Cupid is Calling, was an interesting concept birthed during a time when, I feel, letter writing is pretty obsolete since there are so many different ways to communicate now that don’t require time between responses. But there was also something incredibly charming and endearing about her project as well.
It led her to Noah, whose twin boys were in her class. Their communication through letters was a great way to get to know one another, a paper screen they could hide behind until they couldn’t. The attraction was solid and real and promising Katie Belle of so much that she had never experienced before. Not just the attention of an older man, but real, unconditional love as well.
This is an HFN but I’m hoping the second book comes out soon. There’s so many beautiful facets to this relationship that all point to a happy ending that both of them are so deserving of.

This was an intense story. Fast phased with a good flow. So many things happened during this first book in the serie.
Following Kate and Emric in their meeting with the Ritchard’s clan and mostly the Interaction with Noah. Both of them fall for him and the rest of the family.
I loved their banter and the love they had for each other.
I want book no two soon.

Loved this book! It captured me instantly. Katie is so much younger than Noah and has a baby. Widower Noah has a whole brood of kids in his family. Katie has this cute personality that draws Noah in. And Noah is a take charge and handle anything type of person. It has some hot, steamy sex scenes and lots of sweetness plus some stressful times. I hated to see it end! I highly recommend this book.

Life in all its many splendors can be wonderful one moment an pure chaotic the next but who knows what’s around the next corner my be the best surprise you never knew you needed.
I’m late and trying to redress myself as quickly as I can my poor baby’s tummy yeah the joys of motherhood.
Truthfully you could say I’m an overachiever especially in the kids department but I never dreamed I’d be this darn lucky even if I’ll be gray by the time I hit forty.
The simple interactions between Noah and Katie Belle super fantastic especially waiting and wondering if one of them will finally take a leap of faith.
And boy when they decided to spend some quality time sampling each others best goods they certainly went from zero to inferno at warp speed.
In a hectic world its the little moments that count the most even when Katie Belle’s secret comes out in the least likely way but through it all stood Noah.
But apparently she never realized just how many more surprises lay in wait for her to discover and none of them were what she’d ever could imagine.
Katie Belle and Noah seriously make since more together then apart even with some people’s negative options to the stupid jerk who won’t go away and finally the unexpected news.

An enjoyable story that will make you smile
An enjoyable story that made me smile, laugh and fall in love with these characters. I couldn’t get into it at first but then it picked up and I found myself curled up on my sofa and time flew by. The chemistry and flow hold your attention and when you get to the end you will want more. Looking forward to more of this series.

This book had me at single parent romance. I really got into this book. I loved Noah. He has a lot on his plate, but you can tell how much his family means to him. Things are a little unconventional, but I wouldn’t have it any other way with this brood. Katie Belle really hasn’t had anyone in her corner like Noah. He shows her what true affection and love feels like. I smiled a lot when it comes to these two. Though they can bring the heat. There is plenty of humor which I really loved. This book gave me a little of everything I look for; heart, humor, heat, and a little drama. Katie Belle’s life is going to take a lot of unexpected turns, but I have a feeling she is going to enjoy the ride. This left us with a lot of interesting things on the horizon for this gang.

“Stupid Cupid” by S. I. Hayes and J. Haney
My Speculation:
We find Katie had a lot on her being a single mom with an adorable daughter, Emric. Living with her father [Ric] wasn’t so great for her when all of the secrets began to come out about her mom [Marla]. With Katie trying to get her ‘Early Childhood Education,’ she put together ‘Cupid Is Calling,’ which she sort out to ‘study people and how letter writing could connect them.’ In doing so, while working with her class, Katie meets some interesting twins [Jeremy & Mark] that were in her class, and their father Noah, who was a widower, had lost his wife. As the story goes on, these twins were quite a challenge in one way or another that keep Katie busy with them in her class. Well, as the story goes, we find Noah becomes interested in Katie, and letters began to start…from Mr. Honeycomb to Katie Belle and back an forth until the secret comes out who he was. And it looks like there is something that is starting between these two.
I loved how this author works this story bringing all of the characters in because Katie needed to see how a real family that loves each other comes together as it was for Noah with his three sons, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. How will Katie get all caught up and so involved with this family? Due to the way Katie had been brought up, she needed someone to show her love, and it looks like maybe it will all turn out ‘Bee-u-tiful’ for her. Will Katie be able to let Noah into her Life after what had happened to her earlier? Things start to look up for Katie, and it looks like her situation may be heading for a HEA; however, the story still leaves some questions that will need to be answered. Since the story continues hopefully, we will get the rest of the story because it looks like its getting okay now that Katie as a ring and well, I will just say you will have to pick up “Stupid Cupid” to see what as gone on and what may be coming for Katie.

Another heartwarming story
Once again these authors being a unique easy to read love story. The character development was really well done. You become invested in the lives and struggles of these characters from page one. This book is a single parent contemporary. These authors write real life in a way that is super relatable the characters are flawed and their lives are far from perfect. If you need a break from the summer heat I recommend this book.

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.
