A story that will have you laughing through every page…Holly has spent her whole life as a walking disaster, from running into walls, tripping over invisible objects, and always being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When a seemingly normal outing taking her overly opinionated Corgi for a walk resulted in an object to the face, she didn’t think her day could get any worse. The moment she … any worse. The moment she opened her eyes and saw the Adonis standing over her, she knew she’d been wrong. It was about to get a whole lot worse.
Ben’s lived his whole life disobeying his uptight, self-centered, shrew of a mother. Instead of going into the family business, he followed his dreams and opened his veterinarian clinic. One ordinary day at the dog park, and a rogue dog toy later, he found himself captivated by the curvy woman that had a feistiness which set him on fire.
It could only get better from here, right? Too bad his mother had other plans.
Standalone Rom-Com. HEA.

This was such a joy to read! Loved the pet antics! It will make you laugh and smile and want to read it again!
I have a soft spot for awkward, clumsy heroines, possibly because of the number of times I’ve tripped UP stairs (and down), the many bruises and scrapes that appear on my arms and legs without me knowing where they came from, etc. etc. Anyway. I loved Holly. She’s sweet, fun, and funny, and loves animals. Add in veterinarian Ben, who is a poor-little-rich boy who has the good sense to be wildly attracted to Holly the moment they meet, and you’ve got a great romcom story rolling.
Fun and fluffy, this is exactly the kind of book I love to enjoy. It’s like a warm hug in book form.
This book was so great! It was funny, sexy, and who can resist an overly opinionated Corgi? Highly recommended!
This book was light and so damn funny. I was the laughing at Holly aka Grace. She is a hysterical and one hell of a firecracker! Ben is perfect and sexy as hell. Not just his looks but with everything he is. These two together are fabulous!
A real pick me up read! Where to begin? I just absolutely loved this book – From the cover to the story line to the characters to the smart witty sense of humour the author has. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and I would highly recommend this to anyone. It picked me up when I needed it most, it was interesting, funny, fun, sexy and just plain awesome!
Stumbling Into Him is book one in the Stumbling Through Life series by Molly O’Hare. This is my very first book by Molly and what a joy this book was.
Holly Flanagan is a librarian and mom to a very spoiled Corgi. Holly sees herself as a bigger girl, who was clumsy to a fault. She couldn’t seem to walk across a room without tripping over some invisible object. Holly’s father can no longer work and is partially disabled so Holly spends any free time she has doing what she can for him. Holly only had to work a half day so she decided to take her Corgi, Waffles, to the dog park. But when a runaway Frisbee hits her in the face and she finds a man straight out of the romance novels she loves to read standing over her, her life is forever changed.
“If there were a sporting category on tripping over invisible objects she’d win gold twice over.”
Ben Richman loves being a veterinarian. His mother not so much. Ben lost his father years ago and now his manipulative mother wants him to take over the family business. But Ben has no interest in the business what so ever. He’s playing Frisbee with his dog at the park when the Frisbee accidentally hits a woman in the head. She’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. First, he needs to see to her injuries. Then he needs to see if he can get to know her better.
“When I’ve read scenes like this in books I used to roll my eyes and say the author had an overactive imagination. Guess I was wrong.”
Ben and Holly soon realize that they can’t deny the chemistry between them. But they also fill an empty place in each other’s lives. Holly can’t believe someone like Ben wants to spend time with her. Ben loves that Holly makes him laugh. She and her father feel like family. But not everyone is happy about them. Ben’s mother will do just about anything to get what she wants. She wants Holly out of her son’s life and wants her son working for her.
These two were just so cute together. Hot guy with cute animals? That alone makes him a winner! He was so wonderful for Holly. Where she saw flaws, he saw beauty. This was a fun, sexy story that I really enjoyed.
“Who said real life wasn’t like romance novels? She’d love to beg to differ. Her life was a romance novel come to life.”
Holly was have a good day at the dog park when she was whacked in the head with a Frisbee. When the owner of said object of destruction turns out to be hottest man ever, she can’t believe her terrible luck. Ben is horrified that he has hurt the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen. Once he looks into her eyes, he knows he has to get to know her. She cannot believe that this Greek god is interested in her, the queen of clutziness and curves. There is no way this will have a happy ending, girls like her don’t end up with guys like him, right?
I have to say that my synopsis doesn’t do Stumbling Into Him justice. I absolutely loved this book. Holly and Ben are so cute together. Holly’s dog Lord Waffles is a scream and Ben’s dog Ripley is adorable. This is the third book I have read by Ms O’Hare and she is simply an amazing author. Her books are full of laughs and tears, steam and romance. I flew through Stumbling in one sitting and was sad to see it end. I cannot wait for more stories from the talented Molly O’Hare. 5 stars for Stumbling Into Him!
I couldn’t put this book down, I had to stay up all night and read it. It was that good! I loved every moment in this book! From Ben and Holly’s hilarious first meeting in the park, to the antics their animals pulled and the heartwarming romance between Holly and Ben. They definitely had the odds against them in this book but they weathered the storm together. If you love laugh out loud moments, adorable animals and toe-curling romance! You need this book in your life!
I enjoyed reading this story it is funny , romantic, and drama. when you start reading this you can’t put it down till you are finished i recommend this book and the author!!!!!
I could not put this book down!
Rom Coms are my all time favorite genre and Molly O’Hare knocks it out of the park with this one. Ben and Holly have certainly the most interesting Meet-Cute and I was literally grinning from ear to ear as I read their courtship. Their playful banter is seriously amazing and holy shit the sex is FIRE. And Ben is seriously so sweet and kind it melted my heart. He is the most perfect book boyfriend! Also, Mildred and Henry were THE BEST secondary characters. Seriously, I need more of them. I can’t wait to see what’s next and Molly has certainly gained herself another devoted reader!
When Holly (the most uncoordinated and klutzy woman of the year!) literally gets hit in the face (ok…it wasn’t on purpose, and it was with a Frisbee…at a dog park) her life changes!
Although Ben is a veterinarian, he offers to take Holly back to his clinic to check her out, and reluctantly she agrees. She feels he is doing it out of sympathy, as she is curvy, and he is hot! She doesn’t realize he is attracted to her instantly!
The supporting characters in this story were fabulous! From Holly’s dog (Lord Waffles), to Ben’s dog (Ripley), to Holly’s father (Henry), to Holly’s hilarious co-worker (Mildred), to Ben’s bitch mother (Barbra)…they all came together to create this fantastic 2 person POV story!
I laughed from chapter one and throughout this whole book! It was funny, had drama, tears, love, sex, anger, and animals!!! It was a fantastic read that I would whole-heartedly recommend!!!
Stumbling Into Him is a hilarious and swoon-worthy rom-com.
Holly is a klutz, especially in inopportune times. She also has the most hilarious dog named Waffles or Lord Waffles. Her coworker Mildred is who I look up to become in the future. *le sigh*
Ben is a sexy vet, who has an Aussie named Ripley, with a mother who I imagine as Cruella De Vil. She’s easy to hate like that too.
Ben and Holly’s relationship is an instant-lust turned insta-love. The chemistry between these two is amazing. I may have had to stop reading for a moment so I could fan myself. The added drama with Ben’s mother just completes it. Overall, Molly did an amazing job in keeping me entertained and laughing-out-loud as well as falling in love with all her characters and I truly do recommend this read immensely.
Holly Flannigan was a walking klutz to say the least. If there was a way for her to trip, fall or stumble, even on invisible rocks, Holly had found it. When she was a small child, her mother had died of cancer. Now grown, she had taken on the responsibility of taking care of her dad, who had had a stroke leaving his left side injured. Working at the library barely kept things going, but he and lord Waffles were Holly’s world.
Ben Richman was a veterinarian. His father had started and built Richman Industries but also bought the building Ben’s practice was in, knowing that was what Ben wanted in life.
First, let me say, this is the first book by Molly O’Hare I’ve read and am so thrilled to have done so. From start to finish, her story telling is like a conversation you can actually visualize. Secondly, her characters, sub-characters, and even the animals involved have such personalities they just shine through, whether good or bad. Lastly, I have never laughed out loud so hard while reading a book as I have reading this one. It’s delightfully entertaining with a dash of pizazz. Truly a pleasure.
“Stumbling Into Him” By Mollie O’Hare was a lovely feel-good humorous romantic comedy that ticked all my boxes and more.
The first thing I have read by this particular author it certainly won’t be the last.
I found it a delightful tale that definitely brought an easy smile to my face.
Telling the story of veterinarian Ben and his sexy Librarian Holly, and the pitfalls these two new lovers encounter along the way.
With misbehaving furballs, Hollys inate clumsiness and horrendously evil mother in laws; “Stumbling into Him” plays all its cards splendidly.
Dragging the reader along on its topsy-turvy never a dull moment ride.
I loved Ben’s easy-going acceptance of Holly; he was so adorable and his vulnerability in regards to his girl just made him seem more delectable.
He also knew when to bring it and flip the switch and go into protective mode; no one messes with his GRACE (Bens nickname for Holly)
Hollys less than conventional persona was also so refreshing; I adored that she was a bigger girl and I loved seeing her come into her own as she slowly realises that Ben accepts and loves everything about her.
Seeing her blossom under his love and radiate self-confidence was lovely to behold.
This was very insta-love and the timeline does move quickly but surprisingly this still seemed believable and I was rooting for Holly and Ben all the way.
“Stumbling Into Him” was told from dual POV and also had some interesting secondary characters.
My favourite being Holly’s workmate Mildred; she was bloody hilarious.
This was predictable in places but do I care?
NAH!!!!
“Stumbling Into Him” was such a pleasurable experience that made me laugh out loud in places that I couldn’t really give a hoot.
I really enjoyed this and that’s the important thing in my opinion.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of “Stumbling Into Him” of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
In the dedication Molly O’Hare tells the reader that we are unicorns as the world is better as we are in it. Instead I think that this book is the unicorn as my world is definitely better having read Stumbling Into Him. It is funny, sweet, spicy and sexy and all in all a wonderful read. I especially loved the meet cute between Holly and Ben, it is silly, almost to the extreme but also so realistic to anyone who is blessed with a clumsy gene and tendency to overshare will know.
Stumbling Into Him is filled with a laughs as the characters go about their everyday lives and get to know each other better. This book is a duel perspective so we get an insight into both Ben’s instant attraction to Holly, aswell as Holly’s keen awareness of the Greek Adonis Ben. The book is further spiced by their interactions with their pet dogs Lord Waffles and Ripley. But my favourite character has to be Mildred, who works at the library with Holly. The old lady has no filter and comes out with lines like this one when meeting Ben for the first time … “Name’s Mildred. Nice to meet you. I’m glad someone’s finally dusted off the ol’ cobwebs between Holly’s thighs.”
I am a huge fan of romantic comedies and am always on the look out for something light and funny to read. Looks like I have found a new 1-click author in Molly O’Hare. Stumbling Into Him was AMAZING I can’t recommend this book enough.
I always go into RomComs by new to me authors with a bit of cynicism, but that cynical side quickly flew by the wayside with this one. Molly O’Hare has wonderfully blended a sweet romance with laugh out loud funny. The romance does progress quickly, almost crossing into instalove, but for Ben and Holly, it just plain works. The sassy klutz that is Holly compliments Ben’s super sweetness and they are absolutely adorable together. I had to smile every time Ben called Holly, ‘Grace’ (I’ve called my wonderful, clumsy daughter that for years for the same reason).
We do get a bit of angst by way of Ben’s overbearing mother, but it’s mixed with plenty of humor to keep things light and fun. By contrast, Holly’s dad is the parent everyone should have.
To run it down, this one is a sweet, steamy romance with lots of laughs and just the right amount of angst. The story is engaging, the characters are interesting, and the dialogue is witty and often hilarious. As if all of that isn’t enough, I have to say that I was impressed with how real Holly is. She has the same insecurities about her curves that plague many women and I love that even with those insecurities, she’s still confident enough in herself to make a move on the sexy Ben, who is more than happy to show her just how much he appreciates those curves. This in one RomCom that I would easily recommend to anyone looking for an entertaining story and needs a good laugh.
You are a unicorn…
Well, well, well! This is my first book by Molly and let me tell you, it was sweetness personified!
This story of Holly (Grace….love the nickname!) and Ben is just, just well perfect!
I think all of us gals have a little bit of Holly in us. A bit insecure, a bit clumsy and just trying to find a place in the world. She is my hero in every sense of the world!
Ben, well now Ben is just every gal’s dream. Swoony, romantic and a bit of an alpha!
Ben and Holly’s first meeting is fabulously funny. Their insta-love was sweet and magical and oh so funny! This book is just what you need when the world is all doom and gloom! They have some curve balls thrown at them by the way of Ben’s disaster of a mother, but true love prevails!
Ben, Holly and their furry “family” get all the happily ever afters that they deserve.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to read this! Molly you have created a new fangirl/stalker in me! Thank you for your story!
Readers, this is a MUST read book, you will enjoy it immensely!
Reading Stumbling Into Him is like getting the greatest hug in the world. Overflowing with feel good sweetness and laugh out loud humor! My face hurts from the nonstop smile I’ve been wearing the entire time I was reading this. You could be having the worst day ever, but if you pick up this book I guarantee it will cure whatever ails you. It’s like Molly O’Hare sat down and said “Today I’m going to bring pure happiness to the world” when she started writing this. Stumbling Into Him is not only sweeter than sugar and hilarious, it’s also got the absolute perfect amount of steam to boot making it the book equivalent of eating your favorite candy with the bonus of being calorie free!
Aside from the epic levels of feel good (but seriously, did I mention enough how epic those levels are?) the characters themselves are wonderful. I think every woman out there can relate to Holly on some level. Be it her expert clumsy abilities, her love of animals, or even how she views her own body. She’s witty, smart, adorable, and has such a loving heart, but most of all she’s REAL. Reading Holly is like seeing bits of not just myself but other women who mean the world to me all wrapped up into one hilarious character.
And don’t even get me started on Waffles. We all deserve a dog like Lord Waffles in our lives. I loved that little canine diva! Fur babies aside, there’s also Ben aka the most perfect book boyfriend there ever was. Going along with what I’ve mentioned once or twice (or a hundred times) the man is a complete sweetheart. Gentle, caring, HOT, and did I mention he’s a vet who dedicates his life to saving animals? No? Well he is. *dies at Ben’s perfection* Together Holly and Ben bring endless amounts of laughter, happiness, and swoony romance in this irresistibly adorable book.
3.5-Clumsy is the new adorable stars! I’ll bump this one to 4-stars because…Lord Waffles. Stumbling Into Him is the first in the Stumbling Through Life series and the first book by Ms. O’Hare that I’ve read. It is a light, fun, easy-to-read rom-com that is great for those lazy, fun days of summer. Or anytime really. Ben and Holly are hilarious. But it’s Mildred that truly wins the Most Hilarious Character award.
Ben is pure alpha with a side of sensitive. Holly, aka Grace, knows her shortcomings and is comfortable with them. Ben thinks those shortcomings (clumsiness) are adorable. Holly is not your typical h but she is perfect for Ben.
You can easily read this book in a long afternoon or spread it out over an entire day. It really won’t take much longer than that. I can’t say I laughed out loud, but I definitely had a lot of chuckles!

Stumbling into Him is an instant love romantic comedy.
Ben and Holly’s meeting happens when he accidentally hits her in the face with his rogue frisbee. After spending the day together getting her tooth fixed, feelings start to grow between them the more they spend time together. The only problem is that Holly does not believe that someone like Ben could like her which has him trying to prove to her that she is who he wants.
My first ever Molly O’Hare book. I did enjoy the story and found myself giggling at all of the quirky bits of the story but did find the story a little slow. There were parts of the story that I found a little hard to believe but the quirky parts made up for it in the end. I am looking forward to continuing the Stumbling Through Life books to see what this group gets up to next.
