Ugh, Christmas. Not a fan. So why am I wearing a Santa suit and letting frisky moms paw me at a reindeer ranch? It might have something to do with the family crisis that drew me home between tours as a career Marine. Or maybe it’s my urge to cozy up with the prickly reindeer rancher whose curves give me visions of something way hotter than sugarplums. Jade King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d … King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d be less thrilled to know her sister hired me to keep an eye on things. Someone’s set on sabotaging the ranch, so I’ve got a built-in excuse to get close to Jade.
I could swear the attraction’s mutual, but something’s holding her back. Some secret in her past that has her pushing me away like a bad batch of eggnog. It’s almost as baffling as all these accidents at the King sisters’ place. Seriously, who’d screw with a reindeer ranch?
Between sexy Santa suit malfunctions and risqué Christmas cookies, Jade and I keep ending up under the mistletoe together. Is there any chance we can mesh our Christmas wish lists, or will it all crash down like a fat man in a cast iron sleigh?

I loved this book and all the antics in it. In fact I bought and read all the books in this series and look forward to the next one!
Based on the name I wasn’t sure I would like it, but this turned out to be a darling book — great holiday read@
THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL STIRY!!
Loved it!
Was as good as the rest of the series, I read them all in one week and wished there were more!
This was an amazingly funny cute read!
A nice piece of mind candy
I got 15 pages into this book and stopped reading, which doesn’t happen often. But this book had me that bored in the first 15 pages. I couldn’t bring myself to keep going. Disappointing. But fortunately there are a lot of other options out there.
Second chance romance well written and edited. H and h are old high school friends. H is hired because strange things are happening at the reindeer ranch. Finding out who causing the problems and finding their way to each other.
Good read. Hard to put down
Very clever idea. Totally fun romance. I laughed. I thought Awwwwwww. Warmed my heart. Made me laugh.
Entertaining. Laughed out loud.
I didn’t figure out who the bad guy was until I read it. Cute story about how the girl that used to be bullied turned into the girl the guy always wanted.
Great 1st book to a gray series. All books can also be read as standalone but you will enjoy trip to the Ponderosa Resort
I’ve enjoyed this entire series. Getting to know this family has been entertaining and the way that characters are incorporated from one book to the next is seamless. These books can be read as stand alines but also in the series. Either way they are definitely worth your time.
I enjoyed the characters, humor, and love expressed in this story so much I read all the other books in the series.
Easy to read. However the first person point of view felt limited and the dialogue was awkward and forced. Trying too hard to be relaxed and conversational. Limited character development beyond the “flaws” that the romantic interest must discover to truly “love.” Final answer: I won’t be reading any of the other stories in the series.
Love how strong Jade was!
A quick holiday read that is funny, sweet, sexy, and with just a little mystery. The story also has lots of characters that you just want to hang out with and find out more about.
Once more Tawna Fenske delivers her trademark blend of swoon-worthy, yet less-than-perfect characters with real-world problems, a heart-warming (and occasionally steamy) story laced with witty banter, snort-inducing hilarity and a wonderful supporting cast.
I can’t (okay: don’t want to) wait for the next book in the series!
