Ugh, Christmas. Not a fan. So why am I wearing a Santa suit and letting frisky moms paw me at a reindeer ranch? It might have something to do with the family crisis that drew me home between tours as a career Marine. Or maybe it’s my urge to cozy up with the prickly reindeer rancher whose curves give me visions of something way hotter than sugarplums. Jade King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d … King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d be less thrilled to know her sister hired me to keep an eye on things. Someone’s set on sabotaging the ranch, so I’ve got a built-in excuse to get close to Jade.
I could swear the attraction’s mutual, but something’s holding her back. Some secret in her past that has her pushing me away like a bad batch of eggnog. It’s almost as baffling as all these accidents at the King sisters’ place. Seriously, who’d screw with a reindeer ranch?
Between sexy Santa suit malfunctions and risqué Christmas cookies, Jade and I keep ending up under the mistletoe together. Is there any chance we can mesh our Christmas wish lists, or will it all crash down like a fat man in a cast iron sleigh?

Love the story line, very witty and great read!
Really enjoyed the characters in this book , very likable and realistic. Very engaging story, have already started reading second book in this series, since I enjoyed the first book so much.
Great story! Well written. Lots of fun. Must read. I really enjoyed this book. Have fun!
I loved this book!! It was funny, sweet, romantic, nd so much more sightings and turns. There were times I laughed so hard I was crying and get parts of the book were swoon worthy and sweet all at the same time. I can’t say when I enjoyed a book more.
Excellent book and great series!
loved the whole series of these books!
Entertaining story of characters who had minimal contact during their growing up years but when they meet again feel a strong attraction. The female lead longs for independence and success and the male wants to keep her safe and protected.
It evolves into a strong relationship where they work together to develop a life they can share.

Studmuffin Santa (Ponderosa Resort #1) by Tawna Fenske is a contemporary, holiday, workplace romantic comedy told in first person, dual POV.
When her sister, Amber, hires Brandon as a sexy Santa at their reindeer ranch during the holidays, Jade is less than thrilled. They went to the same high school, and those were some of the worst years of her life. But Jade doesn’t know that Studmuffin Santa isn’t the main job that Amber has hired Brandon to do. He’s a Marine, and he’s really there for security. Strange things have been happening at the ranch, and it looks like someone is out to sabotage the business. Will Brandon be able to keep Jade safe while getting to the bottom of it all? Read to find out.
I really enjoyed this story. The characters were likeable and well-developed. I was expecting it to be light and fun, and it was, but there was more depth than I had anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. This is my first book by the author, and will not be my last. It was quirky, funny, suspenseful, and sexy. A recommended holiday read.
Studmuffin Santa is a fun holiday read with a dash of suspense by Tawna Fenske. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Fenske has created a well-written book populated with an outstanding cast of characters. Jade and her sister are working to get Jingle Bell Reindeer Ranch going in time for the holidays. Jade’s sister hired a santa for the ranch. Brandon may be playing santa while on leave from the military, but he’s also watching out for a criminal messing with the ranch. Jade and Brandon’s story is loaded with drama, laugh out loud humor, action, sizzle and suspense. Studmuffin Santa is book 1 of the Ponderosa Resort Romantic Comedies but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
One of the funniest books I have read.
This was a great, sweet, fun, quick Christmas novel that I got for free.
Absolutely adding the rest of the series to my TBR
Fun book for the holidays! I enjoy some light reading around Christmas time, and this book fit the bill. The story was original, and the characters had enough personal issues to make it more than just a frivilous read.
I’m enjoying the series and appreciate how the author moves through relationship development giving the reader a bird’s eye view into both main characters.
It was a humorous story. I enjoyed it.
This was a very sweet and entertaining read. It was very poignant about bullying in high school and the long term effects of same. It was also informative about abuse in the home whether physical or mental that goes undetected. This story is about two high school kids all grown up 13 years later and how they inadvertently end up together. The story is dear and sad all at once yet we definitely get our HEA. I like that it goes into the heads of both of them and how they coped with their high school situations and how it impacted their future. How being together helped them both get closer of their pasts and make way for their future. Good read.
had a good laugh
A wonderful Christmas story for adults. A real page-turner that I couldn’t put down.
I loved this book! Great holiday feel good read!
I loved this book!! I was so sorry when it was done!! Awesome story!!
It was a cute book. I liked the concept. I liked Brandon and Jade’s story with him playing Santa at her farm. I liked the reason her sister hired him. Yet something seemed to be missing for me. It has a few loose ends and their connection seemed to misfire sometimes for it to be a great book. It was an enjoyable read.
