Ugh, Christmas. Not a fan. So why am I wearing a Santa suit and letting frisky moms paw me at a reindeer ranch? It might have something to do with the family crisis that drew me home between tours as a career Marine. Or maybe it’s my urge to cozy up with the prickly reindeer rancher whose curves give me visions of something way hotter than sugarplums. Jade King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d … King isn’t thrilled I’m here, and she’d be less thrilled to know her sister hired me to keep an eye on things. Someone’s set on sabotaging the ranch, so I’ve got a built-in excuse to get close to Jade.
I could swear the attraction’s mutual, but something’s holding her back. Some secret in her past that has her pushing me away like a bad batch of eggnog. It’s almost as baffling as all these accidents at the King sisters’ place. Seriously, who’d screw with a reindeer ranch?
Between sexy Santa suit malfunctions and risqué Christmas cookies, Jade and I keep ending up under the mistletoe together. Is there any chance we can mesh our Christmas wish lists, or will it all crash down like a fat man in a cast iron sleigh?

This is DELIGHTFUL.
Close sisters. A reindeer farm. A Santa with abs. Some, uh, questionably decorated cookies. And, like all of Tawna’s books OH. SO. FUNNY.
With all the stresses associated with the holiday season, WE NEED FUNNY, Y’ALL. So RUN, don’t walk, to grab your very own copy!
Wow – what a nice surprise! This book is witty, suspenseful, cute, romantic, and original (how many heroines do you know who run a reindeer fram?). I really enjoyed it and went right to book 2.
Fun story about a ex-military man who works as the main attraction on a reindeer farm.
These are simply charming books. Consistently funny and original, they follow a group of siblings who have opened a resort together, despite personal and professional obstacles. The romantic storylines are sweet and fantasy-worthy, while the professional sides are interesting and well- researched. I raced through the series with a smile on my face.
The story is fun, funny, and poignant. A second chance with the one you never had. The antics of Jade’s reindeer and the people around them kept me laughing. Though, there are lots of scenes that left me choked up too. Jade’s memories of her horrible high school experience really struck a chord with me. As well as everything that’s behind Brandon’s ‘dislike’ of the Christmas season. I thought these two were adorable together and I can’t wait to read what else is going on in their little corner of the world.
This book is so cute.
It’s a nice quick , light read that will have you chuckling while reading.
Jade and Brandon seem like opposites, but the more they get to know each other, the more they seem to have in common.
A sweet love story that won’t give you cavities.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I enjoyed it!
So much fun packed into one little book! I’ve done this series a bit backward which is unusual for me. I started with book two and went straight through to book five. I intended to read this one way before now. Of course, I had to wait until the Christmas season, though. So, let’s just say that Studmuffin Santa was every bit as good as all the rest and it was fun to finally get Jade and Brandon’s story.
Jade and Brandon… true opposites attract story. They went to high school together, well sort of. Jade was a freshman when Brandon was a senior. She sure noticed him but he had no clue she existed. Jade was/is the farm girl type. Brandon was the star athlete and is the hometown hero who has come home at last. Jade was the girl who was bullied by Brandon’s friends. There was one time in the hallway that Brandon stopped the bullying. Jade never forgot it. Brandon didn’t even blink as he was walking away.
Now it’s over a decade later and they meet again…
This entire series is so much fun! You don’t have to read the books in order, but they are worth reading in order. Now that I’ve corrected my error of starting with book two I can finally pick up book six and continue reading about the rest of the Bracelyn family. They are such unique, warm, and caring characters. They are also hilariously funny and fun. There is never a dull moment with this crew!
This is a funny, romantic, sweet and unique Christmas story.
The whole story, not only takes place on a reindeer range, but also has additional a lot of unexpected complications and excitements.
This book has two covers, you can decide which one you like better
I judged the book by the cover first and was really nice surprised that it wasn’t like what I was thinking.
Yeah, yeah…the title and cover looks like we should get a hot and steamy story, but it was definitely not like that. The steamy is of course there, but not much..just a little bit
This book is an emotional journey that describes how much our past sometimes dictates our future.
And how difficult it’s to process the past experiences and close that chapter, so that you can bild your future.
I love this book
It was an amazing written page-turner with all the heartwarming beautiful feelings
I read Tawna Fenske’s Front and Center series this Summer so when she recently announced that Studmuffin Santa was on sale for 99cents – Yay! Snapped that right up. Then realized I’d rather listen… so I snagged this one on audio. Go marketing!
This was a fun romantic comedy with a little bit of drama and a dash of mystery/suspense. Plus – Christmas! And a reindeer farm! What more could you ask to get in the holiday mood?
What I loved about this is that it isn’t “reformed jerk” – Yes, Brandon was the football-star Senior to Jade’s picked-on Sophomore. However, Brandon was and still is a nice guy, he just didn’t notice Jade when they went to school together. Jade was tormented by other students and though it’s been more than 10 years she still has an icy exterior. Brandon definitely melts her frost.
While not holiday themed, I can’t wait to hear Sean and Amber’s story, Chef Sugarlips.
I enjoyed the narration by Nelson Hobbs and Teri Schnaubelt. They are both terrific narrators and I’m looking forward to hearing them both throughout the series.
“Studmuffin Santa” (nook) is a lighthearted and enchanting story which kept my full interest. There was a bit of heartbreak to round out the loving portion and, of course, a HEA.
This definitely had some second hand embarrassment moments but it was fun! No cliffhanger, but hooked me to want to read about the other characters. Would read more from this author.
Great read
Entertain read – enjoyed it. Fun intro to series that just keeps getting better.
I really liked the story line. It was sweet and there were funny lines throughout the book. The part I liked best was how the author showed a popular guy who came back home after growing up. (I knew some sweet.) I also knew some that never grew up and stayed 16 forever. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I like sweet romances better. The romances with telling me everything they do in the bedroom. This book had very little of that so that’s why it got 4 stars.
Cute!
This was such a great book. It was funny and steamy. This series is great.
I love Ms Fenske’s work, and this series is great. I didn’t quite figure out the villain before the end, but she definitely led me down the right path. Good plot, good characters, and the idea of a sexy Santa is marketing genius!
Great, easy to read, Christmas story, which is just what I was looking for.
Cute story
