It started out like any other morning on the train. Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was¿God? Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it. When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out. I might have picked it … up. I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers. I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days–until I finally conjured up the courage to return it. When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me. So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office. I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though. I didn’t expect him to text back. I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell. I didn’t expect to fall for him–all before we even met. The two of us couldn’t have been any more different. Yet, you know what they say about opposites. When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract–we consumed each other. Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Another very entertaining book by these co-authors. I loved the quirkiness and the brash decisions made by the heroine. The hero had a stick up his butt, he was abrupt, domineering and couldn’t even bother to remember a persons name. I enjoyed the storyline, the banter between characters and the angst. I had tears streaming down my face as my heart broke a few times, but they managed to put it back together. On a few occasions I cringed at the nastiness and lack of compassion for what was being said and how it would effect the person it was directed at.
Loved Graham and Soraya’s story. It is funny with a side of drama. Graham’s Meme is priceless. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Love this series.
This is my first story by Vi and Penelope and I was roped in right from the beginning! Soraya sees Graham on the train and he’s acting like an obnoxious, self-entitled jerk! But when he leaves his phone on the train, she’s intrigued by the man she finds in it. She attempts to return the phone but his brash attitude keeps them from meeting in person. I like how Soraya calls Graham out on his crap and it’s exactly what he needs! Graham definitely has a soft side and Soraya brings that out in him. As more is revealed about his past, I understood why he is the way he is. I loved the unexpected twist in this book and thought the way it effected Graham and Soraya seemed very realistic. I was disappointed in Soraya’s choices toward the end of the book as I completely disagreed with her logic but I won’t give any spoilers! I will say, I was thinking “seriously, Ida?” with that bs advice she gave! Highly recommend to all romance lovers!
I have had STUCK UP SUIT on my Kindle forever and my March reading goal is to read from my TBR.
1. What came first – the cover model or the character? Superb match
2. Meet Cute – classic romcom set up
3. Bffs – she had them, he needs them
4. Build up was a slow burn
5. Satisfying ending
There were things I in this story that made me cringe and others that seem extremely far fetched which is exactly why I read.
Overall the good outweighs the bad so I rounded up from 3.5 to 4.

“The way he was so dominating and controlling, yet exercised restraint to respect my wishes, was the sexiest thing I’d ever seen.”
Another book by these two authors that I could not get enough of, I love these two authors on their own and also when they come together. I’ve said this before but they really do seem to know what I like in a romance read and the plot always has a perfect blend of everything I love, hotness, humour, a good story line, a bit of angst and of course a hea.
The story begins with Graham Morgan AKA stuck up suit, a rich businessman who for once was taking the train because his driver was off and he couldn’t get a driver, a day to day thing for Soraya who does not have the luxury of having her own driver and takes the train daily to work were she is an assistant to a agony columnist in a newspaper.
When Graham Morgan loses his phone on the train it’s Soraya who finds it and you would think this would be a meet cute, however it’s not, Soraya keeps hold of it a few days and has a good snoop and basically after getting more curious about the man goes to his office to return it, is he grateful? well no, that wouldn’t be Graham Morgan at all, he’s a grump, a workaholic and doesn’t know the meaning of the word please or thank-you, hence going through numerous secretaries a month.
When Graham is nothing but rude to Soraya by refusing to come out of his office because he’s busy when she visits to return his phone she gives him a piece of her mind through his office intercom and sends him pictures of her legs, and other body parts to let him see what he missed out on, a good on ya girl kind of moment lol
Graham is left with the images and can’t help but wonder who this woman is who actually stood up to him, a series of texts continue between them until he spots a woman’s feet on the train who has the same tattoo as the one in the mystery woman’s picture on his phone.
I enjoyed Soraya and Grahams journey, I laughed out loud, enjoyed Grahams journey from grump to swoon-worthy guy and I had a happy sigh at the hea.
I listened to this in audio and although it was well narrated I do prefer other narrators these authors have used before I wasn’t that keen on the male narrators voice who sounded a little creepy and took me a bit to get used to his voice.
Full of snarky banter, laugh out loud humor, gritty sexy, and tender emotion. My kind of story!
Stuck-Up Suit had everything you could hope for in a novel! It has humor, romance, drama, wit, steamy sex, and more. All the feels were had while reading this book. I laughed so much while reading this. Soraya and Graham are a perfect balance to each other. Soraya tells it like it is and Graham takes no prisoners in life or business. I would love to read more books by these authors. This was my first read by them and I loved it. I’m only giving it 4 out of 5 stars because some of the story line was predictable. That seems really nit-picky since I really liked the book, but it doesn’t seem fair to give it a full 5 since the predictability did bother me. Overall it was a great read and I definitely recommend!
Graham and Soraya have a beautiful love story – from the way they meet to their HEA. They pulled me in from the first sentence and I just held on tight. Loved it!!
This book has it all. It’s sweet, loving, sexy, funny, stressful and heartbreaking.
Soraya is a wonderful character. I loved her snark and her attitude. She is a great person and friend. I love that she isn’t’ afraid to say what’s on her mind and put rude people in their place. The first time Graham and she talk was fun. My heart broke for her when she did what she did to Graham thinking she was helping the situation. She truly felt like it was the best idea at the time.
Graham isn’t always a nice person but I’m glad that Soraya brought it out of him. He is wonderful to his family and anyone he lets in.
This was a great love story with a ton of heat and lots of witty banter. I loved Graham and Soraya. It had just the right amount of angst to keep things interesting. Of course you can’t go wrong with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell narrating.
I listened to the audio version of this book. It was my first book by these authors and I was actually caught a little off guard by some of the language. I just don’t find the F word sexy.
Other than the language (and actually the way Graham acted towards Soraya some of the time), the story was good. Both characters had their moments of almost super strength and then some moments of complete softness. I loved the way Graham went from awful, stuck-up guy to a gentler version of himself.
The narration by Maxinne Mitchell and Joe Arden was very good. Just don’t try to listen while going to sleep, because Mitchell’s voice has a variance in octaves and dynamics that is not conducive to falling asleep or staying asleep.
Stuck-Up Suit (A Series of Standalone Novels Book 2)
By: Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward 5 Stars
******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
Boy this a romance that every girl dreams about! Definitely could relate to Soraya. She is a feisty little thing. She meets her dream man, Graham, in the train. Graham is a jerk with a mushy center. I did alot of laughing at the beginning of their relationship. The relationship has ups and downs. A huge potential problem will test Soraya and Graham’s relationship. Soraya makes a huge discussion without talking to Graham. This does end as a HEA.

~~ I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ~~
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. And, yes I agree with some of the other reviewers, the first half was much more enjoyable than the last half. I’ve read a lot of collaborations from many different authors. Generally, they flip back and forth pretty seamlessly. This had a different feel the second half, not bad, just different. Graham and Soraya were well written, interesting characters, with great chemistry and some really witty dialogue between them. The book was well paced and a really page turner, up until the twist is added to the story (at about 50%). That’s when the story became a bit too predictable for me. None the less, I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next.
****Recieved a copy and this is my honest review*****
I’ve loved this series of stand alones and for the most part, this one was no different. Graham and Soraya and most of the surrounding cast of characters are all well drawn and real. The humor is hysterically witty, laugh-out-loud funny and I found myself chuckling throughout. The writing is excellent. There’s also a sweet side to this one … and don’t I just love that to balance out the hotness between the two main characters. There is one point in the story that stumbles (maybe 3/4 of the way through) that made me stop reading because I didn’t want to ruin what had been up until that point an excellent read. I seriously was almost afraid to continue! (If this were a movie, I’d have covered my eyes.) But when I did decide to continue reading, the authors did not let me down. I got my HEA (phew) and what I feared would be an awkward resolution worked. I would’ve left that complication out of the book altogether but then again, I’m not the one writing it. 😉 I’m giving it 4 stars for being almost perfect. And I can’t wait to read the next one. 🙂
The banter and chemistry- via text, dialogue, and email- were off the charts! An amusing, sexy, easy read.
P.S. The female lead reminds me more of myself than I’d like to admit.
I enjoyed a lot of this except for the large amount of dirty talk and sex. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I’ve given it a 4* rating. It’s a wonder this heroine didn’t get fired from her job. This is not for the under 18 readers. And what she did with his phone was a little wierd
but he(the hero) was a lot like her.It was an unusual way to meet but her snark talk suited him for some reason. After all the ups and downs in this relationship, there is a HEA to it.

Well they did it again!!!! Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are an amazing team. These two authors have such a seamless writing style and the storylines they give us are great!!! I actually think I liked this book even more than the first book, and I LOVED Cocky Bastard.
Stuck-Up Suit is no different!! This is the second book in their Cocky Bastard Series. Each of these are stand alones. What makes them a series is the theme of the storyline. They are giving us love stories about two people who meet in unexpected places and fall in love. You don’t have to read Cocky Bastard first before reading this book. They are completely separate from one another. Although we do get a small cameo from a couple characters from the first book. ( I LOVED that!!!)
As with first book, this book had everything that I look for in a 5 star read. The storyline was interesting and unique. The pace and flow of the story were spot on. The characters were relatable and likable. This story was such a fun, sweet and sexy story, but it also had it’s moments of heartache and we can’t forget about the character everyone loves to hate. What kind of story would it be without them, they stir up the drama 😉 What I did love about this story, was even though there is some drama built into the story, I was glad to see it was short lived. I think that when authors can evoke that many different emotions from their readers the book deserves no less than 5 stars. I truly believe they have extreme talent in the literary world.
So I don’t spoil this story for anyone, I am only going to touch briefly on the storyline. In this book we meet Graham and Soraya (LOVED this name BTW). Graham is a stiff shirted executive, who isn’t very nice and Soraya is a woman who works for an advice column (Ask Ida). She is kind of a free spirit and the complete opposite of Graham. They have a chance meeting on the train one day going into work. Well I should say Soraya meets Graham, but he doesn’t know her till later on. Graham drops his cellphone on his way off the train and Soraya retrieves it. Being the good person she is, she seeks out Graham and returns the phone, but it doesn’t go that smoothly. That’s all I am going to say, you need to read this book to get their complete story. You don’t want to miss this ride;) I loved the dynamic of Graham and Soraya. Their banter was hysterical. I was laughing out loud at many parts of this book. But their love story was also a sweet one. But just like any other journey, their’s isn’t one without complications.
I do have to admit I think that each of these Heroes in this series, both Chance and Graham are my favorite characters. These guys are cocky and arrogant, but still so lovable!!! Although Soraya was an amazing heroine!! I really liked her character too.
Stuck-Up Suit is a stand alone novel with NO Cliffhanger. I would 100% recommend this book to everyone. If you are looking for a book with laughter, steamy sex scenes, and even a little drama, but also has a cocky hero who will melt you panties and make you swoon, then this is the book to read!!! This is definitely making my Best of 2016 list!!
This is a MUST READ!!!!
This is the second book in a series. It’s a standalone, but in the same “world” as the other books. I liked this one even better than the first book! Graham and Soraya met on a train…Graham leaves his phone behind, and Soraya tries to return it.
Stuck-up Graham falls for the saucy Soraya, and becomes less of a jerk to his coworkers now that he’s found love. I really enjoyed their love story. They went on several dates together, and you could just feel the love between the two. Also had several laughs, like in the first book.
