It started out like any other morning on the train. Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was¿God? Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it. When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out. I might have picked it … up. I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers. I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days–until I finally conjured up the courage to return it. When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me. So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office. I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though. I didn’t expect him to text back. I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell. I didn’t expect to fall for him–all before we even met. The two of us couldn’t have been any more different. Yet, you know what they say about opposites. When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract–we consumed each other. Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

I loved this book but I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. The first and second half of the book seemed like they were completely different stories. In the first half, Soraya is this total badass with nothing but confidence. In the second half she’s indecisive and constantly second guesses herself. The twist midway through is the cause of the change in her and I understand that in the real world, that kind of unexpected surprise would cause any woman to be a little wary, but I just didn’t feel like it fit the character I’d come to love. On the other hand, Graham was perfect from beginning to end. Yes, he’s an arrogant asshole. Yes, he’s a stuck up suit. Yes he’s domineering and he has a dirty mouth. Yes, what I’m saying is that he’s absolutely perfect. Overall, only that midway twist kept me from giving this 5 out of 5 stars. The second half felt like a weaker storyline than these confident main characters deserved. Still, it was a highly enjoyable read with tons of sexiness and dirty talk and some really sweet moments too. I’ll definitely be reading more by Keeland and Ward.
Stuck-Up Suit is an adult contemporary romance novel written by co-authors: Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. It has humor, romantic tension, and characters with amazing sexual chemistry. Other elements include trust, ex-lover, and blended family issues. There’s a strong heroine, a sexy hero, a sweet little princess, and yes an evil villainess. Stuck-Up Suit falls in line with the mass of sexy but drama-filled adult romances such as Penelope Douglas’s Misconduct, Sylvia Day’s Bared to You, and Samantha Young’s Hero. But no matter how often the rotation of love/hate attraction → sex → preventable relationship drama → HEA is told, I will happily continue to read.
I ended up really liking Stuck-Up Suit. I felt immediately engaged, I laughed several times, and the storytelling kept me genuinely invested until the end. I would recommend it to adult readers who enjoy this genre. Check it out!
My favorite quote:
“Don’t be afraid to get hurt. It’s far better than never experiencing anything earth-shattering. Even temporary joy is better than nothing at all.”
Yea, he gets his comeuppance, cocky Bastard that he is. She turns the tables on him. Lust is a powerful motivator.
LOVED THIS BOOK! Soraya and Graham are a perfect pair.
Riding the train to work, Soraya meets all kinds of people, from blind dates gone wrong guys to assholes to stuck-up suits. One Suit, in particular, is eye candy, and having a personality of a prick doesn’t stop her from ogling the guy. Mr. Big Prick, as she called him, was in a rush to leave and dropped his phone, so of course, she would pick it up and try to give it back to him. Going through his contacts and pictures led her to where he works.
Graham made it his mission to get people to hate him, fear him. When he gets to work one day and hears a voice from his intercom telling him she has a thing he was looking for, he blows her off, not even bothering to open his office door. Later on when he gets his phone from the receptionist with a text and a few pictures from the same Soraya Venedetta who wasn’t afraid to tell him what she thought of him. He was curious to put a face to the body in those pics.
On the train to work, he notices the same feather tattoo in one pic Soraya sent him, finally putting a face to the body he’s been fantasying about. Not wanting to let her go without getting to know her, he convinces her to go out with him. Soon they figure out what love really is, but the past is about to throw in a new conflict. Will they survive? or is this secret too close to Soraya’s past that it brought her worst thoughts to life?
Okay, hear me out. I know that in a busy city there’s no way you could notice the same person twice, especially in a crowded subway. It seemed farfetched for the two of them to take that exact train when they work in different areas but hay, no one said it has to be based on reality.
This book had me laughing from the very start. Soraya is a spunky character that isn’t afraid of stating what’s in her mind. Graham and his pervy jokes crack me up. He’s not the asshole he presents to the world. I think I’ll be picking up more books from both authors in the future because the writing is simply brilliant. At first, I thought the plot was going to be a cliché; the girl finds the phone tries to give the phone to the guy after looking for him; the guy takes the phone, both fall for each other right away. But no. This one has a lot more. Soraya didn’t make it easy for Graham, and I liked that. She’s a badass, except at one point I wanted to scream “don’t do it you idiot!”. I also enjoyed seeing Graham open up more to her. Soraya’s friends are ones I wish I could have at my back. It’s a brilliant, funny book full of surprises.
The beauty of this story and how well it was written … priceless. I’m a fan! Huge!
Soraya & Graham
Soraya is an assistant for a advice columnist. She is sassy and fun. She dies the ends of her hair colors based off her current state of mind.
Graham owns his own financial holding company and your typical billionaire ahole. He is a total control freak. But also has a huge heart for the right people.
They take the same train daily and Graham left his phone which Soraya found and it leads to how they meet. He writes into to “ask ida” to get her attention and further their relationship.
They have this great romance but major challenges present themselves that leaves Soraya extremely conflicted due to her past. It becomes a rollercoaster of emotions but in great way.
This was my first audio book and I was super captivated by it. The characters personalities kept my wanting to constantly listen any chance I got.
My favorite duo! A very entertaining read – as usual!
Absolutely spectacular.
I honestly will never get bored of reading Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland’s stories, they always give me everything I want in a Romance.
Graham and Soraya’s love story had me addicted to every single page.
I laughed,I cried and my emotions were all over the place as this opposites attract relationship unfolded.
It was so Amazing and full of surprises.
I could not get enough of these two…their attraction was electric and sizzling hot.
I LOVED and Thoroughly relished Stuck Up Suit which has my highest recommendation.
I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
Excellent.
Tremendously fun catnip sexy contemporary about an arrogant hero who’s phone lands in a strange woman’s possession. They begin a texting relationship, and then they fall in love. Delicious.
Anything can happen during everyday events. I love that message in here. The characters are cute. Not sure I would scroll through someone’s phone but it turned out nicely. I enjoyed watching his changes as he becomes better.
LOVED!!!
This was an amazing read to escape into.
Very Entertaining and Romantic.
An emotionally charged story that shows how a chance encounter makes you believe in destiny and soul mates.
What an awesome book!! Loved it from start to finish. It made me cry and laugh and smile to myself. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward did it agin!
This was my first Penelope and Vi co write and it has lead me to authors who never disappoint! Graham is scrumptious and if you love a cocky billionaire story… this needs to be on your reading list!
Absolutely LOVED this ‘caught in a lie’ story!!
This was a fun, and entertaining story. Of course there was some drama, but the overall story is enjoyable.
I have a soft spot for Graham Morgan. His sexy banter with Soraya: simply priceless. His conceited attitude with everyone else: totally despicable (at least at the beginning of the book!). His special relationship with his grandma: perfectly adorable.
There was just this one time where I wanted to punch Soraya in the face for acting so out of character… Being so engaged in a story shows that it’s a great book.
Stuck-Up Suit is a fabulous book to read. I devoured it within hours as I was unable to put it down.
What I absolutely loved about this story were the interactions between Graham and Soraya – in particular the banter that went on between them. The first half of the book was full of light hearted and witty conversations and to be honest this made the story for me. As more serious elements were added to the storyline there was obviously a change in mood and I enjoyed seeing how Graham and Soraya dealt with the challenges that they each faced.
There is no denying the sexual chemistry between this couple – Graham and Soraya could hardly keep their hands off each other. I loved witnessing the effect that Soraya had on Graham especially on his moods. They certainly do make a perfect couple and my heart wanted them to find their ‘happily ever afters’ together.
I do wish that we’d seen some of the scenes in relation to Graham’s Grandmother play out as she was a very important family member of his. Stuck-Up Suit receives 4-4.5 stars and a recommendation from me for you to read it… if you haven’t already.
She calms his savage beast …
I always enjoy a sassy, feisty, gives as good as she gets type leading lady. Soraya was all that, folks. I was thoroughly enjoying this main couple’s antagonist meet and greet then falling head over heels in love relationship. However, at about 80% into it, her knuckleheaded decision on how to deal with Morgan’s OW baby mama drama had me shaking my head in shame for her and the sisterhood. Good intentions aside, she needed to man up and just be brutally honest like she always was. I preferred strong, stormy Soraya always saying what was on her mind and in her heart instead of playing Russian roulette with their future.
Wasn’t fond of the overly sappy version of the hero at the end, either. It felt like the author tried too hard there scripting words for him to say to make him come across poetic and smooth as Romeo.
Yeah, I knew it would all work out. But really? I just prefer to avoid that type of baggage to begin with, along with one of the main couple doing the wrong thing while trying to do the right one.
My favorite parts were the back and forth banter and getting to know each other scenes. Enjoyed the sassy, saucy, curvy heroine the most of all.
Rating: Solid 4 stars before the OW baby mama drama. Lowered to 3 stars then…but back up to 4 for hero giving chase/fighting for love at the end.
Title: Stuck-Up Suit, very graphic smexy scenes, OW baby mama drama, not with anyone else after meeting, major jerk hero until her.

Prepping for @nicolerodriguesauthor fall release of Bestselling Bastard about Lorenzo, the son of this hot couple—Graham & Soraya I listened to Stuck Up Suit. Loved this seemingly mismatched couple! Soraya doesn’t take shit from anyone not even the grumpy, entitled, suit Graham, who seems to shovel at people like it’s his duty (pun intended). Soraya walks into his life with her dyed hair, curves, smart mouth, and tattoo clad body to give Graham a run for his money and leave him hot underneath his white collar. Lots of drama both light-hearted and more intense! Guaranteed LOLs, *gasps*, and HEA.
