It started out like any other morning on the train. Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was¿God? Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it. When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out. I might have picked it … up. I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers. I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days–until I finally conjured up the courage to return it. When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me. So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office. I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though. I didn’t expect him to text back. I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell. I didn’t expect to fall for him–all before we even met. The two of us couldn’t have been any more different. Yet, you know what they say about opposites. When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract–we consumed each other. Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

I loved this book!!
It’s hilariously funny, sweetly romantic and heart touchingly adorable.
I couldn’t put down this witty book.
Soraya and ‘Mr.Big Prick’ meet by chance in the train and their love story goes chugging straight through your heart . Adorable little chloe adds the cuteness factor.
I loved it!
poop face and Deliriously Happy in Manhattan
Wow! Another great book from the pairing of these two awesome authors. Great storyline with great wit, heat and of course a bit of angst. Graham is totally swoon worthy!!! I want my own Stuck-Up Suit!!
Loved it!! A fabulous light hearted read! I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it! I love hot alpha CEO’s and Graham did not disappoint!
Loved it!!
Soraya and Graham’s story is so magnetic and addictive. Their witty banter builds and compliments their attraction. The characters, the dialog, and the writing were brilliant.
I could not put this book down. It had me in the first chapter and wouldn’t let go
I don’t know why I waited so long to read this. I got it awhile ago but it ended up buried on my kindle. I found it again while scrolling through trying to find something to read, or re-read. Nothing was looking good, until I got to this one and realized I hadn’t read it yet. Vi and Penelope are go to authors for me.
This will have you laughing, and it had me close to tears a few times.
Graham is a stuck-up suit. He had such a stick up his butt, it wasn’t funny. But that all changed once he got his phone back.
Soraya is the exact opposite of Graham. She’s fun, has different colored hair and doesn’t take everything so seriously.
I won’t say much about what happens, because it was a surprise to me. I did want to slap the hell out of Genevieve though. And Avery. OMG, Avery was such a bitch. She’s horrible.
We do get to see a certain character from another book, and a goat. I loved that part.
I love how everything worked out. It may not have been easy, but it did work out the way I wanted it to.
Every book by Penelope Ward is an amazing gem that I enjoy and devour. Add Vi Keeland, and it’s explosive!
With a strong female, and cocky, sure-of-himself male, entertaining side characters, and a base that just warms the heart. Completely enjoyable and sassy from start to finish, with a lot of heart!
“If being an asshole were an art form, then I’d mastered it.”
Penelope & Vi have done it again, Graham is the definition of his nickname…stuck-up suit. They have also mastered a leading lady that can go toe to toe with the cockiest of bastards. Soraya is gorgeous, feisty, sexy, mouthy and makes no apologies for any of it. I LOVE HER!
Together the banter between Soraya and Graham was perfection…bar none. The Dear Ida emails, the sassy photos and the texts. The texts!! I thought I was looking in on some of the text conversations I have with my husband. There was a good combo of a dab of angst, a dash of drama, a bunch of laughter and a good dollop of sexy. I simply couldn’t get enough, right down to the last word.
Maybe I should start taking the train 😉
OMG! I can totally see the hype around this awesome duo. I really enjoyed this book. It was so addictive and hard to put down. I really loved the characters and the story was very compelling. It is sweet and sexy with some serious moments.
Loved this! I stayed up late to finish as I could not put this down. Maybe it was the native NYer in me, but I loved the snarky humor! The brash Soraya had me repeatedly laughing out loud. The scene wherein she confronted her father brought tears to my eyes as it hit close to home.
I will definitely be reading more by these two.
Soroya is snarky, voluptuous and a take no prisoners kind of girl. Graham is an uptight, driven and seemingly angry businessman. She’s everything he never knew he needed and he’s everything she never knew she wanted. Together, they shouldn’t work but they do. Starting a new relationship is never easy but add in a recently widowed ex-fiance and a child he didn’t know he had and you’ve upped the difficulty factor by ten. Soroya has “been there, done that” with a father who walked away for another woman and her family. She decides that stepping away from Graham and his new “family” is best for all. The only problem? Graham didn’t get the memo. He loves Soroya and wants her as well as his daughter.
O.M.G… I thought I would never get surprised anymore by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, given the number of books I’ve read from them. Turns out, I am completely mistaken when all those wonderful crazy bantering between Graham Morgan and Soraya Venedetta turned into a more serious complications on the second half of the book. Gone were the hilarious and sexually / sensually charged text messages between these two highly-driven and intense lovers. The next thing I knew, my heart couldn’t handle all the stress and pressure and heavily-laden drama that these two had befallen.
Graham Morgan was a pompous jerk to Soraya during their initial interaction. Until Soraya stalked and discovered the real man behind the arrogance. I can’t believe I would fall for that stuck-up suit, too. I loved their exchange of texts and amusing e-mails through an advise column. Their easy-going, heartwarming, sensual connection made the book really exciting in the beginning.
I was looking forward to that kind of cool vibes throughout the entirety of the book, only to be disheartened by Graham’s paternity issues on the latter part of the story. OMG, I was in all kinds of knots and pain for Soraya, my heart got twisted and pinched, my lungs having a hard time getting oxygen into it. My only consolation, Chloe, she’s an angel and I wonder how she came from the devil mom. I felt so much sadness for Soraya though.. She’d done all unexpected things to Graham, and even through the storm, she didn’t exactly waver, she still surprised me. I know what she did may have been cringe-worthy and wasn’t exactly what you’d expected her to do, but given her trust issues, I understand why she chose to do it. Many wouldn’t agree with me because it made Soraya looked childish and immature, but as I see it, it had to be done.
By the way, my moments of grief and pain were momentarily replaced by an ear-piercing laughter when I got a glimpse of Chance Bateman and his traveling goat in the story. (Props to the Cocky Bastard inclusion!)
Keeland and Ward’s tandem always amaze me. When they write a story, expect the fun and twists and heart-pounding thrill only they could deliver. I would never get tired of reading their masterpieces.
Usually in a book I end up liking the men more but Soraya was my favorite! I loved her sassy attitude. Soraya held no punches and gave it to you straight up no chaser. Graham is your typical brooding CEO or is he? Graham has never gotten over his mothers death. Plus he was burned and betrayed by his former fiancée. Soraya has father issues as well so when these two came together I knew it wouldn’t be easy. The relationship starts off with a lot of flirting and then we get to the good stuff. Everything is going well until you guessed it PLOT TWIST!!! I saw this coming a mile away and poor Soraya. In her defense I would have done the same thing. I have father issues as well so I get where she was coming from. What I liked about this book was that they explored some deep issues with both of the main characters. Soraya and Graham both changed for the better once they started dating and I love when a couple in a book grows. I love both authors works separately and this is my first time reading them together. They have a good writing chemistry. I found myself laughing from the beginning of the book and at the end. I love a book that can make me laugh, smile, ache and relate. I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series.Well done Ladies!! If you can highly recommend getting the Audible version. The narrators brought the story to life!!
4.5 stars
“He was fucking me, body and soul, and I just knew that this was going to ruin me forever.”
I got Stuck-Up Suit on my tbr list and my kindle for a while now. And I can’t believe I left it untouched for so long. I suffered from a serious book hangover and Stuck-Up Suit was a great choice helping me out of it.
First thing you need to know: Don’t be blinded by the blurb. It’s intriguing but it doesn’t give away how deep this story is going to become. Vi and Penelope made sure to surprise us with an unexpected twist.
Stuck-Up Suit is a perfect combination of entertainment, love, self-discovering, hot encounters, witty exchanges and deep minds and thoughts. The story telling is marvelous which yet has to meet it’s equal. Vi and Penelope have such a great chemistry in writing a story together, you have no choice but get caught in their web of words.
Soraya has a great personality which is impossible not to love. She’s easy, bold, fun, clever, honest and feisty.
Graham on the other hand was in the beginning someone you wouldn’t want to cross path with, neither in private nor as your boss. He was cold as ice and no fun at all. But later on, as he opens up to Soraya, we find a caring, lovable and sweet man beneath the all the ice.
It was fun reading how Graham tried his best to win Soraya over which ended up mostly in sexy, fun and enthralling encounters. Their chemistry was great and you can’t help to fall for Graham as you’ll fall for Soraya.
A sudden twist in events will turn everything upside down. And you start question yourself if you would have made different decisions. However, Vi and Penelope worked their magic and things become right again. Even though this twist is kind of cliche, it is something that made me think a lot. It’s a topic which hits a nerve of modern time.
Stuck-Up Suit is a great steamy, humorous quick paste book I can only recommend!
“For a split second, I tried to resist. But I was an ice cube trying to fight the heat from the sun. It was impossible. Instead, I melted right into the blinding light.”
“Your name may not be tattooed over my heart, but it will always be etched into my soul.”
Soraya finds Graham’s phone and decides to keep it for a while, when she returns it, she basically has to fight to see him to return the phone. Graham has never meet anyone like Soraya and he wants to see more of her. Although Soraya is cautious because of what happened with her father. Soraya can’t believe that someone as hot as Graham is interested in her and decides to give it as chance. Then in comes Graham’s ex with a bombshell, which leads to Soraya after reading an article from the advice column that she works for to make a decision that she regrets soon after.
While Graham is left dealing with his ex and missing Soraya he stumbles across an article that sound very similar to what happened with Soraya and realises that she must have followed the advice given, after a while a very determined Graham confronts Soraya’s friend to find out where she is, he is determined that Soraya is want he wants and nothing will stand in his way .
Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have done it again! This book was amazing! What a perfect chance meeting. And boy was Graham a complete a$$ at first. But Soraya was not going to take it. I laughed at all the “nicknames” everyone comes up with for Graham (my favorite has to be Cracker).
The chemistry between Graham and Soraya is nothing short of wonderful. They are the perfect opposites and Soraya does not let him get away with his attitude.
Being a fan of Penelope and Vi’s first collaboration I was absolutely tickled with the Chance encounter on the beach. I, for one, can’t wait to see what these two wonderful authors come up with next!
