“Clay is HOT and BAD in the best way possible, you won’t be able to put it down! I literally was begging for more!” -A.L. Jackson, NYT Bestselling Author
Clay Maxwell is a smart, quick witted, sex-driven, manwhore with the good looks to match. Plenty of women have shared his bed, but only one has ever been constant, Andrea.
Their rules were simple. When they’re together, it’s just the two of … just the two of them. When they’re apart, anything is fair game. And it worked. For ten years.
But one of them has changed the game…
Clay must decide if his player ways are worth losing the one girl who has always been there.
NOTE: This is a stand alone spin off of the Record series about Brady’s brother, Clay! No need to read the other books to enjoy it!

OMG . All the books in this series is ALLSOME!!! I was in Barnes and Nobles an one of the workers told me about the series. So happy that I took her advice.
Enjoyed the series. Couldn’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series.
BI loved this book. Might be one of my favorite ever.
This was a page Turner. The evolution of the relationship was riveting
SFTR has renewed my love for the RECORD series. Introduced in the previous books, Clay is Brady’s handful of a brother. Andrea is his sometime girlfriend. I knew I would fall for Clay but I remember Andrea being such a bitch in the previous books that I was surprised I loved her as much as I did in STRUCK. Andrea and Clay grow so much separately and as a couple. I loved the fact that Clay is able to mend fences with Brady and his dad. The epilogue was p.e.r.f.e.c.t and I cannot wait to read Savannah’s story!!!
I have to give Clay props for trying, even if this plans don’t always work out, “eff, woman.” Clay reached out and roughly grabbed her shoulders. “I’m trying to be all romantic here, and you’re making me want to just eff you into next Tuesday.” I loved this book, Clay had always been one of my favorite characters from Brady a d Liv’s series I was so excited he got his own book
Struck from the Record is the latest installment in The Record series by K.A. Linde, one of my favorite authors of the decade! I fell in love with the Maxwell family in the first three novels, based around Clay Maxwell’s older brother Brady. In Struck from the Record we finally get Clay’s story. We were given bits and pieces of him in the first three, but you will never truly understand his soul until you read this book! This book was packed full of emotions I never thought I’d have for Clay, and as I read Clay and Andrea’s story I was given a new perspective into this cocky playboy. And fell in love!
In this book we get more backstory to the history of Clay and Andrea, two characters we know little about. Clay and Andrea have had a relationship for over 10 years and that relationship has been pretty open to do what they each please. Until one of them changes the game and it throws the whole game for a spin. There is not much I can put into a review without giving away more of the plot, which I feel like if you love this series, you deserve to uncover for yourself. I can tell you it was very emotional at times, yet so full of angst and lots of heart. The character development Kyla brings to these two characters is astonishing once again. I love that we also get so much of Brady and Liz throughout, as well as a glimpse into what Savannah’s story (the next book) will be about. There were several parts of this book I went back too and read again as they were just so well written and placed that they deserved to be fully understood (Chapter 29-Epilogue). I can’t wait for this book to release and to be able to FINALLY chat with fellow K.A. Linde fans about this wonderful story I’m sure they will fall in love with just as much! Kyla has packed so much angst, filled these characters with so much emotion, and in doing so, she truly managed to put Clay in competition with his brother Brady for my pick for favorite Maxwell!
This story can be read as a standalone book, but there is so much from the past characters mixed in that it truly is best if you read the first three and experience Brady & Liz first so when you see them in this book it’s just adds even more of a conclusion to their story.
