Team: A.L.P.H.A.:Six battle-hardened alphas with one goal—to save any omega in peril. David Dempsey, the younger omega brother of Team ALPHA’s crazy twin duo, has gone missing after a camping trip with some human friends. He’d only planned to celebrate his upcoming college graduation—but somehow ended up taken captive by a sketchy group after catching them in a criminal act when he wandered too … he wandered too far away from his group.
Simon “Boomer” Chiarelli is a laid-back alpha with a love for things of an incendiary nature—but nothing has ever been as explosive as the connection he feels when he catches the scent of his mate. But why, of all the shifters on the planet, does his mate have to be related to the twins?
Can Team ALPHA stay united when tension breaks out among their own? Between dodging Zeke’s famous knife and Ezra’s penchant for hitting things—while still trying to connect with his new mate—Boomer’s life is about to blow-up in a whole new way.
This is the third book in our top-selling series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel. You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and some violence. No humans were harmed in the writing of this book—unless they kinda deserved it. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ readers only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?

Boomer is the munitions expert in Team A.L.P.H.A. and is Italian. When Mama C invites the whole team over for dinner, of course they go, who doesn’t love Italian? Boomer and the guys don’t get their dinner with his mom because they get a call saying the baby brother of the twins has gone missing.
Davey is an omega wolf shifter, but would rather be human. Davey was at a party with his college friends when he heard someone in pain. David should have stayed with his friends.
I have read this series from book one. I think these would be best read in order. I have enjoyed this series. I like characters, the story, the plot of each book gets us closer to the root of the problem as well as letting the guts find their fated mates. RECOMMENDED
**********Contains Spoilers**********
I thoroughly this story. All the Team A.L.P.H.A crew are at Mama C’s, Boomer’s parents house about to sit down for dinner but then Zeke and Ezra’s phone simultaneously ring and they’re about to turn their phone off since it’s Mama C’s rules no phones at the dinner table but then they get an earful from Mama C telling them that it must be important if their mum is trying to get ahold of them so badly, they find out that their little brother Davey was camping with his human friends from College and he’s gone missing, the twins give their mum sh*t for not contacting them first but she tells them that even though he went missing last night they only just found out about now since they told the human authorities, since she’s on speaker phone Jonah pipes up and says that he’ll need Davey’s phone number so he can start to track him and if he’d already had his phone number he could start now. The guys leave straight away to grab their gear and go to the coordinates that Jonah gives them, they find his phone put don’t see any sign of Davey about from his scent all over the place, Levi asked the twins how old Davey is and whether or not he’s had his first heat or not because that would account for how marked up the woods are with his scent and that he’s nearing his heat. They lose Davey’s scent trail but find oil on the ground from the truck that obviously took Davey so since they can’t follow Davey’s scent they could follow the oil until they find him. They come across a barely standing caravan park surrounded by barbwire fence, in the middle of the woods and they have a look around and find that Davey is inside one of the caravan’s so they wait until it gets dark and take out any security and Boomer does what he does best and blows some sh*t up to cause a distraction so the twins can get Davey out. As soon as Boomer meets up with the rest of his team, bad guys attack so the twins tell Boomer to get Davey to safety, Boomer and Davey scent each other as true mates. They had the best intentions of talking to the twins before Davey’s heat became to too distracting but it went out the window and to make matters worse the rest of the team shows up and Boomer and Davey are still kn*tted together, to say that the twins aren’t happy is a complete understatement. I don’t fully understand why the twins are so p*ssed at Boomer for so long but it made it that much funnier. It’s not like he took advantage of him and you can’t help who fate chooses for you. I hope that when the twins do find their own fated mates that they don’t have to go through what both Boomer and Davey went through with the twins. Boomer didn’t help matters with the whole brotherf*cker comments to the twins and I’m surprised that he didn’t get a dull knife to his b*lls considering what the twins are known for and how many times they threatened to do it. I’m really looking forward to meeting the allusive Pax and to see how Zeke is when he finds out who is fated mate is. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and both authors to everyone.

Exceptional narration for a thrilling fated-mates tale!
This is the first book I’ve read in the Team A.L.P.H.A. Series and it can definitely be read as a standalone, but now want to go back and read the others in the series as the whole team seems great and I’d like to know their stories too. All the characters in this book were great and the unfortunate interruption to Boomer and David’s mating (knotting) was hilarious! The writing is witty, humorous and thrilling. While a rather short tale it is still a detailed adventure to stop the ‘bad guys’. While I liked David’s twin brothers, I didn’t really understand their continued animosity to Boomer and David’s mating but it did make for extra entertainment and a lot of potty-mouthed sass! I look forward to seeing them find their mates and see what happens!
I loved Boomer and David together and the family they made together. Speaking of families I loved Boomer’s ‘lazy’ sisters and lovable mum. They made great secondary characters and added so much fun and laughter to the story!
Now the narration on this was exceptional!! I have my preferred narrating style and my favorite narrators but Colin Darcy blew me away!!! He had different dialects for each character and while these were subtle differences it was so easy to tell them apart. With the two main characters, I often had check that it really was only narrated by one person, his accents for both David and Boomer were so different and in my mind matched perfectly with the characters. His voices for all the women were also done really well and not overdone or annoying in the voice tones. I loved this narration and will differently be looking for more audiobooks narrated by Colin!!!
