I’m homeless. Behind on the spring line. And getting sued by the one man in New York who’s seen me naked.Moving to NYC to launch a fashion label with my best friend was supposed to be everything. The cherry on top of the tiara on top of a dream come true.Until Nate Townsend crashed my coronation.Nate might be the golden boy of Manhattan, but under the surface his scars run deep. He’s made it … under the surface his scars run deep.
He’s made it crystal clear…if he can’t screw me one way, he’ll do it another.
And I need to save my business. Not get dragged into the gutter by one sexy, arrogant lawyer I was never supposed to see again…
If only he didn’t make the gutter look so damned good.

I really liked Strippped. Book two of the Travesty series.
Ava and Nate are so different from Dylan and Lex but totally enjoyable and fun to read. Love Piper Lawson writing. How she makes the characters and story grow on you and what they have to deal to get what they want. Mostly real love without giving up on their dreams.
This couple is hot. They don’t have nothing in common. They come from opposite worlds but they’re so attracted to each other that is really addicting to read how they fight it and fail. For the best.
An awesome contemporary steamy and entertaining romance. I like a lot Nate and Ava but my fave couple are still Dylan and Lex so I’m going to read ‘Sealed’ in no time! 😀
I liked it
When he walked away from her, I could have easily slapped him silly. What an idiot! Ava deserved better.
An eighteen year old with a learning disability might like this one. Adult women, no chance.
I want Ava to be my friend! What a great character with so much passion. What is truly endearing to me about Ava is her ability to just say what she wants, sometimes to her detriment, but it’s so funny and charming all at the same time. When she meets Nate, well, she never expects to fall for a “suit.” Their one-night stand has stayed with her so imagine her shock when Travesty is sued and Nate is across the table representing the other side. Oh so sparks fly! Nate is a conundrum. I thought I knew what he was all about – rich family, all the rights schools, and working at Dad’s law firm – but then, he gives his sandwich to a homeless man on his way home. As we peel back Nate’s layers, we find a lot of pain in his past. I love how Ava lights him up and brings him to life. There is a great balance between these two characters however, will Nate realize that obligation isn’t always the way to go? Or will he lose Ava in the process?
Writer Piper Lawson really drew my attention with her debut book ‘Schooled’ and after reading ‘Play’, I just put her on my list of favorite writers. So why had I wait so long to read ‘Stripped’? Well, if you buy as many books as I do then the chance is big that some books just will disappear on your TBR pile and that is what happened with this book. I must also confess that I’m not really a big fan of lawyers too but after reading and loving ‘Stripped’ so much, I have totally changed my mind about that one.
‘Stripped’ is the second book of the Travesty series and this story is about Ava Cameron who we met in the first book of this series. Ava is the best friend of Lex and is also Dylan’s sister (the H and h of the first book). In ‘Schooled’ we saw the girls work hard to start their own fashion label in New York. Here we get to see how the adventure continues. Ava and Lex are now living and working in New York. Starting your own fashion label is hard work. Each of the girls have their own talents, Ava is the creative one and so the fashion designer and Lex has the brains so she takes care of the ‘non-creative’ side of their business.
The last thing that the girls expected was to get blamed for stealing designs from another designer! And what make things worse is that the lawyer from the counterparty is someone who Ava knows, she even knows him very intimately! Because he’s the man who she spent a hot night with a few months back. Ava never thought she would ever see him again.
The plot twists and turns Ruth a surprising, unexpected end

Best book I have read this year!
Loved it I couldn’t sleep it’s a page turner
I love Piper’s characters. They are believable and the kind of friends you want both to be and to have. They have honest lives by that I mean sometimes things go wrong, sometimes it’s their fault sometimes it’s not Some times they have tragedy strike despite the fact that they are doing all the right things. Thats what makes her characters “honest”.
in truth her character do the right thing no matter how tempted they may be to do the wrong thing which to me is what real life is like. It’s a challenge and all you can do is try to do the next right thing. Thats why I like her books because they remind me that in this time when we so often have the opportunity to be small-minded and let fear and hatred rules us. Piper’s writings all remind us why we should do the right thing instead of doing the easy thing.
I liked it, get a lot of books from you, am 74 & can’t get out much. Thank you , I read most of nite & take loots of naps in day. That way I don’t have to turn on tv & wake neighbors. It was an enetertaining book
