Two weeks, lots of strings…Travis Brantley wants nothing more than to finally get his big break. When he lands a record deal with a major label, Travis is convinced all his dreams are about to come true. His dream turns into a nightmare when he is sent on tour with a pop princess who is more auto-tuned than talent. Kristen Holt may have a beautiful face, but the electronically garbled music and … electronically garbled music and nonexistent clothing are more show than substance. While her body is sexy as sin, Travis is convinced she’s nothing more than another dead-end on his road to obscurity.
When Kristen sheds the the “Pop Princess” persona designed by the label and goes indie, she captures the attention of the audience, and the sexy rocker who never bothered to give her the time of day. Singing a stripped down acoustic song with him in front an eager crowd, their musical and sexual chemistry explodes, skyrocketing them on a fiery two week publicity tour…and into an intense love affair that takes them both by surprise.
With the label breathing down Travis’s neck, Kristen’s mysterious connections, and an overeager group of paparazzi, their two week tour comes with a lot of strings and a lot of passion–and it will change everything.

Travis and Kristen are singers thrown together for a music tour. The night of the last show together they go out on the town and put together a quick freestyle set. The response from the public is amazing and they go on a 2 week tour together.
They fall for each other pretty quickly while thrown together and enjoy their time together. They each have to decide what the future holds for the both together and individually musically. A little angst thrown in but nothing too major in the grand scheme of the story.
This entire story is told only in the female POV, I felt like I missed being involved in his side of the story as well. I couldn’t quite get into the fact that they have semi strange nicknames for each other (in my opinion). While I enjoyed the story, for the most part, overall it didn’t knock my socks off. I’m really at a loss for how to write this review for that reason, honestly not something that usually happens to me when reading and reviewing a book.
Unfortunately I can only give 3 ¾ stars for this novel I received in advance without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own.
This was a great story. It had a loveable couple you will be rooting for.. where your annoyed at even the thought of someone coming between them! They had hot chemistry and there was plenty of steamy moments. Travis is sexy as but also has a sweet vulnerability to him. I liked how him and Kristen kept everything very honest between them it was refreshing! The ending was really sweet.

This story will engage you from the beginning. The chemistry between Kristen and Travis has them fighting their attraction to each other. Their views on each other are based on their public personas, as opposed to, knowing who they are deep down.
I recommend that you read this story and follow their journey of discovery of who they are and where their careers will take them. Will they get together or will they go their separate ways. Great read!
