A well written story with nice storyline and plot. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the feelings and thoughts of the main characters. Likeable main characters who develops nicely through the story. Nice chemistry and passion between them. How to choose the right partner and fight for it despite all the issues that is thrown at you. How to catch the chance for your HEA.
Can be read as a standalone.

Strip Tease by Erin McCarthy is the third book in her Tap That series and definitely worth reading.
Strip Tease is Grace and Brandon’s love story.
One night nine years ago Grace decided to have a little fun which included alcohol and sex with a guy who gave her a false name and an illegible phone number when we left the next morning. All these years later she finally finds him because he is doing a charity event only a few hours away from where she and their daughter live. Her intent is to confront him, but instead she finds a man who is remorseful about having missed so much of his daughter’s life and not being there for Grace when she needed him the most. What neither of them expect is the instant attraction that they both still have for each other.
I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

This is book 3 in the Tap That series and it features Grace and Brandon. A one night stand turns into a second chance romance for these two very different people. It’s about regret, friendship, love and ultimately compromise. Compromise is extremely difficult for two people so used to running their own lives. This might be the first book I’ve read that the author hasn’t made the child super cute or extra special in some way. Fallon was just a normal eight-year-old pushing the boundaries with her mom.
The story line was great and the characters are fabulous. I look forward to reading more from this fantastic author.

This an amazing second chance romance that is well written and very enjoyable. It moves along at a brisk pace, is a very interesting and engaging read. I read it in one sitting because the story grabbed and pulled me in from the first page. The storyline is great and the characters are realistic, funny, and interesting. This book is a part of the ‘Tap That’ series and can be read as a standalone, however I would recommend reading all the available books in the series – you will not regret it. There is limited overlapping of characters from previous books in the series. Looking forward to reading the next book. I recommended this book and this series.

Strip Tease is the third book in Erin McCarthy Tap That series, but each book can be read as a standalone since each book focuses on different couples. Thank goodness each book can read as an independent otherwise my big pet peeve of reading out of order would have been an issue.
First off, this is not a book where the female character keeps the baby secretly from the male character. Instead, this is a story where the male character gives the female character a fake name/number during their one-night stand. Nine years later is when the female character, Grace finally finds out his real name and where he is located at, so she can confront him.
I liked Grace in the story because she is a strong single mother wanting to make sure her daughter is cared for and loved. She doesn’t want her daughter getting hurt, and for several years now Fallon has wanted to know who her father is, unfortunately, Grace has not seen Fallon’s father since their one-night stand. This is due to that issue of not even knowing his real name. This is when the story gets interesting because Grace ends up seeing a video of the guy she had a one night stand with for a charity event and now she can finally confront him.
Grace believes that he will not remember her and won’t want to be a part of their daughter’s life. She’s very wrong. Brandon is the main male character, and he may be considered a player at first in the story, but he is a sweet guy. He shocks everyone in the story, even Grace’s brother and friend on how he reacts the news about having a daughter. He’s willing to help Grace, also if she doesn’t want help and he wants to meet his daughter.
I will say this the very ending of the book readers will find out something exciting that will leave you in shock. I may have wanted to knock some sense into Grace’s character at times, but I can understand why she acted the way she did in the book. She’s being a very protective mama and doesn’t want her daughter hurt.
If you are into reading about two characters that end up getting a second chance together due to a one night stand several years ago then check out Strip Tease. I’m going to go back and read the first two books in the series since Erin McCarthy has those characters in Strip Tease and I want to know how those couples ended up with each other.

A second chance romance of sorts. Grace meets Brandon in college and she gets pregnant. When she tries contacting Brandon he gave her a fake name and number. Fast forward years later and she sees him again and blurts out about their daughter, Fallon. Brandon wants to step up and be a father to Fallon and a partner for Grace. Will they both be able to bring down their walls to accomplish this?

I don’t know if I’d call this a rom com I thought it was a bit more serious than that.
Imagine seeing your baby daddy, the one with the fake name 9yrs ago, stripping on stage for charity. What do you do to their than confront him!
Brandon aka Joe is dumbfounded however does come to accept he has a daughter & embraces it. Grace not so sure. She’s not really interested in his money.
The tale is about these two dealing with the issues & moving forward in their lives with it. The ideal wasn’t bad but at times I just didn’t feel it. Overall if you like a second chance with a HEA you’ll enjoy this.

Single parent romances can be tricky; making for drama and heartbreak. But McCarthy does a great job of keeping a serious matter lighthearted as two people fall in love over the daughter they created. A one night stand 8 years ago left Grace with the greatest gift of her life, her beautiful daughter. Unfortunately her prince charming gave her a fake name and a wrong phone number so she could never tell him the truth; nor give her daughter the one thing she’s wanted, a father. But one happenstance reading of an article about a charity male strip show and a handy news video and Grace is shocked to see her one night stand strutting his stuff on stage. Taking the sign from fate she travels to Brandon to reveal the truth and find out why he gave her fake information.
Brandon lives a fulfilling life; success, women, friends. His buddy’s annual charity strip show is a night of fun and games. But when a feisty brunette shows up and sparks a long ago memory, Brandon is intrigued. The truth she drops on the dance floor however….definitely not in his plan. Unlike other heroes who have had the “you’re a dad” reveal, Brandon dives head first into fatherhood. He doesn’t doubt Grace or have any negative reaction; he’s shocked but he’s a smart man who accepts the truth easily. I love that Brandon takes the time to talk with Grace and his daughter and truly get to know them…and love them.
Brandon and Grace obviously had chemistry from their one night years ago. But watching Brandon discover his place in fatherhood and Grace finding her place as co-parent was truly different from other romances I’ve read. Brandon steps back and lets Grace make all the decisions despite his desire to make up for all the years he lost. He finds the hobbies that bond him and his daughter and readers will truly feel the love shine through the pages. And when the two of them discover why Grace couldn’t’ get a hold of Brandon…prepare to LAUGH! Filled with love, light, and family this romance is swoon worthy!

This is the 3rd book in the Tap That Series and can be read as a standalone and if like me you haven’t read the other books in the series, you soon will be.
Strip Tease is a fun, easy read. Once I started this I couldn’t put it down until I finished it which meant a late night for me. I just kept doing that……one more chapter thing lol.
Grace and Brandon met in college and had one hot night of passion which left Grace pregnant and seeing as he gave her a wrong name and number she couldn’t find him. Nine years later they bump into each other again and Brandon’s world is turned upside down when he finds out he has a daughter.
The chemistry between them is scorching even if they are in denial. They find a connection through their daughter that builds into something much more as they get to know each other. They are complete opposites, Grace has always had to struggle whereas Brandon has always had a good life. I so admired Grace and her strength considering the circumstances.
Another great read from Erin. Looking forward to seeing what she brings us next in this series

I love this series!! Erin knows how to write a great series and a awesome romance!
This is the Third book in the series and it’s just as good as the first this one is my favorite so far! I love how she keeps with the theme of the stripping charity event. You get to see all your favorite characters from the series in this book.
One night in college changed her whole world and a wrong phone number and bogus name made the last 9 years lonely. Grace sees a add for the Strip fundraiser and sees a face that she can’t ever forget she may have the name wrong but Brandon Blackwell is the father of her baby and she’s going to this event to confront him.
Brandon works hard and plays hard he has a good life a thriving business and never turns his back on his friends. He will always participate in the strip show to help Brest cancer research.
A crabby girl a little dancing and then a blast from his past changes his whole world. He finds out he’s a father and he will do anything to make this right.
I love this series!! And this story is just a heart warming as the other two.
