Only in America could an innocent, if drunken, guest of honor at a strip joint bachelor party become a mortal threat against Big Money and Big Government. Only in south Florida, land of roadside honky-tonks and sinister pleasure boats—not to mention blackmail and murder—would a virtuous topless dancer join forces with a cool but clueless cop. And only in the fiction of Carl Hiaasen do readers … experience riveting suspense and razor-sharp characters along with the most wicked humor imaginable. This is Strip Tease, Hiaasen’s most inventive tale yet of savage appetites and sweet justice.
BONUS: This edition includes an excerpt from Carl Hiaasen’s Bad Monkey.

Disclaimer: The cover shown was not the cover on the ebook I down loaded. None the less, Strip Tease is another delightfully zany Carl Hiaasen tale. The subplots, and there are a number of them, are truly crazy. Stripper Erin Grant takes up stripping to earn enough money so she can get her four year old daughter back from her jerk ex-husband. …
I like this author’s style and this is one of my favorite books that he wrote. He has a quirky sense of humor and good character development. I’m from Florida and I like the way he captures the environment.
Loved it.
It’s been a while since I’ve read a book where I laughed out loud consistently through the whole thing. This book has been around for quite a while. Lacking the strong, driven central character of his previous novels, this book is the worst of the …
A fun read. The plot has his usual whimsical twists, and is entertaining right to the end.
Hiaasen’s books are entertaining with great reoccurring characters and Florida as a backdrop. Always look forward to these stories.
Good story, great character development, and literally laugh out loud parts. Highly recommend.
This is the only Carl Hiaasen book I could not get into
Another good read by the author of Tourist Season.
As usual, great characters and his main character is hilarious and bizarre as ever. An easy and ridiculously enjoyable read.
