A warrior with a wounded heart….Strian Eindrideson has served alongside his friends since he was old enough to swing a sword, but beneath the handsome but brutal exterior lies a wounded heart. Separated ten years earlier from the only woman he ever loved, Strian searches for his missing wife until a pair of blue eyes captures his attention during a raid in Scotland. Those blue eyes could only … could only belong to one woman. A woman he feared was dead but always hoped he would find. Now returned to their homeland, Strian must prove that he can be the protector and partner he swore to be all those years ago.
Will love be enough to repair the damage caused by so many years apart?
A survivor with a painful secret…
Gressa Jorgensdottir thought she had everything her heart desired until a battle left her near death and torn away from the man she had married only months earlier. Ten years of living in Wales, first as a slave then as free woman, convinced Gressa that she would never again see the man who still holds a piece of her soul. When that man from her past returns her to a land where her Sami heritage makes her an outcast, Gressa must decide whether her life with Strian holds more promise than the pull from secrets that bind her to Wales.
Will their need to protect one another be their undoing?
Torn apart during one battle only to be reunited during another, Strian and Gressa must learn to trust one another again, sharing the truth of their time apart while relying upon one another to survive. Rivals for their affection, secrets and half-truths, and an ever present threat from a common enemy test Strian and Gressa’s resolve.
Will their pasts drive them apart even when their hearts call to one another?
Viking Glory is a steamy historical series that will transport you back to the world of the ancient Norse with brave heroes and even stronger heroines. The series follows the lives and loves of five friends. Brother and sister, Leif and Freya, along with their cousin, Bjorn, and their friends Strian and Tyra sail the seas and conquer hearts. This is a four book series where each book can be read as a standalone but is best read as part of the series.

I love this story of Strian and Gressa getting their second chance at having the life they thought lost forever. Celeste concludes this series with a story of love lost and HEA found with much angst. I highly recommend this book.

3.5 star review:
Nice and well written story about the Vikings. Nice plot and the characters are well described. Great chemistry.
I like that the author has some of the past characters back in this story so we know how they all are.
A story with action, passion, steam and it is entertaining and enjoyable.
Strian and Gressa’s story is filled with so much content and is a real page turner. Although I missed book 3 in the series, the reader does not get lost in “Strian”, as each book is a standalone read. There were parts that I found heartbreaking for the way Gressa was treated by others in the clan when she returned after ten years. Strain and Gressa work to find their way back to each other and reconnect, but Strian knows that Gressa is keeping something from him. Although the reader knows the secret that Gressa is keeping, and with the complexity of their reunion, Strain and Gressa’s story will bring a smile to the reader as their enemies are defeated and they find their HEA. **I was gifted a copy of “Strian” and leave my opinion based on my reading** 5 Stars!
Over all its a good book with good story line the only issue I had was with the repitative theme jealousy expressed by strian

This is the second book I have read of Celeste Barclay’s and I was disappointed in it. The first was much more enjoyable. For the most part of this novel, the characters were either having sex, thinking about sex, talking about sex and hinting about sex. The same thing was being rehashed, there was not much actual story and I felt as though I was on a treadmill and had to push my way through – this took about 2 days. Then, about three quarters of the way through the book, the whole tone changed and suddenly there was action and a storyline that kept me engaged enough to stay up late to finish the novel. This was the way, I wanted it to be and was more like the first book I read: an actual plot that went somewhere. For this ending I gave Strian an extra star.

I can not get enough of this series. Strain and Gressa have been separated by force for years. They fight their past present when they finally find each other at long last. I actually cried during a part of this story. I love all of these characters.

I absolutely enjoyed Strian and Gressa’s story. This is the 4 book of series and it was worth the wait. After Strian lost his wife of 3 months in a battle against their enemy he is shocked to discovery she is still alive and fighting for his tribes enemy, so he takes her as a slave.back to his tribe . Once he has calmed down he and Gressa start to mend, but Gressa has a secret. She is also in danger within her own tribe and the people who matter most are determined to protect her.
When they learn where their enemy is headed Gressa will finally have the chance to prove to the tribe she belongs.
This was a an entertaining book from start to finish. I received this book for an honest review.

Strain has found his wife of 10 years and now he wants to continue what they had before she was found injured after a raid and used as a slave.
She didn’t want to come back, she felt like an outsider before being lost because of being half Sami, and she has secrets that might never let her be happy again.
A very good sexy, steamy Viking story that has well defined characters and action that will keep you reading until the end of the story.
