Weird and disgustingly graphic
Great story line and gruesome character development.
This book did have some fun characters, but I felt it gave away too much too soon, although there was one side plot that didn’t resolve until the very end. It was a fast read, I’d call it a decent airplane book.
Serial killer is wacko and scary
Great characters, good story. It was very interesting to see how they all end up crossing paths.
Interesting twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.
Light reading
i really enjoyed this book. IT was a mystery with twists and turns. kept me reading.
A great book with interesting characters and nicely paced plot.
I started this book and it grossed me out. Life is too short for this type of dark, dark novel.
Pretty good overall.
Unexpected plot development. Very disjointed at first but a great cohesive finale!
Too gross
This book pretty much dwells on the dark side of our society. Not very uplifting at all. If you like that sort of thing, you will probably find it entertaining. You do want to finish the book. I kinda wish I didn’t. Why the author would take something so amazing as strawberries and use them to represent something so ugly is mind boggling to me.
Interesting how the characters fit together as the story builds. It was a children’s game that went wrong with him. His parents institutionalized him years ago and once their donations to keep him there stopped he was released. The FBI has been looking for a serial murderer who guts his victims. This agent Harry is about to be replaced after only two weeks. He discovered his wife only married him to gain citizenship. They divorced. Now he is interested in the young lady in a group of forensic investigators and she in him. Reporter Shelly figured out who killer is but wants to make a name for herself and tries to befriend him. Two brothers hauling a load long distance are trying to figure out the purpose of their lives. Sylvia is a flight attendant on private jets and paid handsomely by the men she works for. She needs purpose in her life. Everyone needs acceptance and this story tell how they all fit together as they meet other characters and the story progresses.
Too violent for me. Didn’t read it.
I enjoyed the book. Kept me engaged.
Great character building, awesome story, great pacing. Couldn’t put it down. Ending could have been better though. A few “gimme a break” moments but still a great first (and only) novel.
Good
High on the serial killer un-putable-down list.
