One king threatening war, six prophesied lovers scrambling to come up with a plan to defeat him.Bane’s parents’ house isn’t the idyllic retreat it looks from the outside, inside its walls it hides many secrets and even more dangerous knowledge for anyone willing to dive into the hundreds of books collected in its living room library, as Litha, Phoenix and the four princes have found out.The plan … four princes have found out.
The plan was to hide here for a couple of weeks, recover from their injuries and maybe gain some knowledge which would help them survive the coming months and years. Instead, they realised that things are, once again, not as simple as that and it appears that history is about to repeat itself.
When they find out that their ancestors unsuccessfully tried to prevent the last war, they know that they need to do something to tip the scales in their favour this time around. The only problem? They have two weeks to pull it off, and they have no idea where to start.
This is the eighth novella in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy serial, a reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This novella may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).
This story includes MF, MM and also FF scenes, but everyone is primarily focused on Litha and there are no sexy scenes between the guys and the other girl.

Wow even better not sure how she does it but this series just keeps getting better and better! I couldn’t put it down I need the next instalment lone NOW
Litha, her men and Phoenix have retreated to one of Bane’s family homes following another fae attack. The house has old, rare books about history and offensive magics that teach them a lot of things they never expected to find. Being alone helps to make their bonds even stronger and both Litha and the others grow stronger in their magic. A large part of the story was about Litha, Phoenix, Bane, Kit, Rune and Finn growing into their powers. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
This series about Litha, Phoenix and the four princes is one that is very intriguing. They are trying to find a way to stop the fae King from inacting his plans and the bonds forming between them are immense. Its a good series. I highly recommend it. Can’t wait to see how it ends. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
So my mistake in thinking that this book is a standalone in a series. I picked it up because I love fantasy, especially with paranormals with shifters and fae. Even though I got lost in the plot, I thought the book had good world building. I don’t know if I like it was in the first person narrative with all 6 main characters though. It had my head spinning.I thought it might have worked better as third person narrative with so many main characters. Since I’m intrigued and become invested in this world and the impending war, I’ll just have to start with the first book to read the how this series got started.

Loving this series. Things are moving forward for Litha, her guys and Phoenix. Still at the cottage working through journals….etc. War is on the horizon & getting nearer with each book. More steamy scenarios in this book keep it hot to read. Book 8 is still keeping up the tension throughout and i cant wait to see what happens next?? Great series
Litha, Phoenix and the guys are at the cottage trying to find ways to stop the Fae King from his plans. They are working day and night to reading the journals, working on fix for the venom and much more. They decide to try to see if Phoenix can see the future but they get a bigger surprise than that. This leads them to see what Litha’s blood will do to Rune and the others. What happens blows them away and might just be the key that will help them
They have a surprise visitor that will help add in getting them to their goal. They also supply them testing material. It looks like it will work. Some of them decide to go with what they to see other. What they didn’t know is danger is lurking close and they are almost out of time
This was a fast paced book. You see the characters growing into the roles they are supposed to. There is more to the story than what I gave. I recommend reading this book/ series.

Good addition to the series. This “chapter” has the suspense building as they get closer to war. The relationships between the characters also continue to grow and develop as the series goes on.
Strategy is Book 8 in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy Series. The drama and suspense are building and the story keeps getting better. The tension is palpable in each character as the threat of war increases. Litha is embracing her powers and her role, and that is a good thing. Bane, Finn, Kit, and Rune are also facing theirs, as Phoenix finds her place. The characters are developing into a unit of trust and love, which should get them through. We won’t find out for sure until Book 9. Even though these books can be read as a standalone, they should be read as part of the series in order. You miss some of the nuances of the relationships and suspense when reading as an independent. I reread the book to review it as I read it back in December.
