Good ending
Keeps you guessing
Well written mystery, kept me interested to the end.
GREAT read-couldn’t put it down!
I had read several earlier entries in the Sloane Monroe series and found Monroe a bit too driven and angst ridden for my taste. At the time, I chalked it up to her youthful energy and lack of experience. Then I read at least one book in the series written after Stranger in Town and realized that Ms. Monroe had become, at least sometimes, more …
There was a new twist on the typical story of child-kidnapping.
OK story, but not very believable.
Good book to take with you on vacation.
Great
A real page-turner. I couldn’t put it down.
Thought provoking
Cdisnt reas it.
Cheryl Bradshaw sure knows how to keep you interested and wanting to turn the page to find out what is coming next. I love her character Sloane Monore. She is so human and in her own way – loveable. I am in the process on finding her other books. I would recommend this series.
In all honesty, I don’t remember too much of this book. So please don’t think it is not worth reading. Sometimes, for me, as I read so much, books blend together, and I will forget important parts, or mix them up. If I read it to the end, which I did, it had to be fairly interesting.
I really enjoyed this book! Easy read and hard to put down.
Well written & suspenseful! Couldn’t wait to reach the end.
I like mysteries and like something other than “murder” mysteries so this was a nice change. I like good endings and believable characters and this had that also.
KEEPS YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT. WONDERFUL CHARACTERS (GOOD GUYS) AND UNEXPECTED ENDING.
I could not get into this book
