It was very entertaining and kept me interested.
Well written novel where the story proceeds at a quick pace. Very few diversions from the main crime story. The novel is not long and can be completed over a weekend. Good read.
Very good read
Sloane takes the case of a missing child and soon finds that it is linked to a child who was kidnapped two years ago. She deals with devastated parents and a police officer, Cade that is trying to solve the case for his dad. There are familiar characters such as her friend and ME Maddie but absent was Giovanni who was a big part of the previous …
Stranger in Town by Cheryl Bradshaw is the fourth book in the Sloane Monroe Mystery series. It falls between a cozy and the dark, hardcore suspense that I love so much. I did enjoy meeting Sloan and love that she is a PI instead of a cop. She’s a PI because, “I don’t like people.” She doesn’t play well with others.
Stranger in Town deals with a …
I loved this book! Adventure, mystery and all around exciting. This book truly gripped me and I couldn’t wait to finish it. Although, whenever I finish a great book I always wish there was more!!
Love this author…i read all her books
I love all of the books in this series! Each story keeps me captivated.
Sitting on the edge great read…
I loved all the twists and turns.
When Sloane is recommended for a case by an ex, there are many difficult tangles.
Missing children cases are hopelessly fraught. Even cases of return or recovery leave families forever changed. A grieving father seems to think hiring a detective means she will answer to him and do what he wants and on his timetable.
Sloane works according to …
what people will do to get what they want.
The book started out a little on the slow side, but soon picked up speed and was an excellent read. I was surprised by the direction the plot went and was satisfied with the conclusion. I have read other books in the series and this one was out of order, so it took just a little bit to get oriented to the characters.
Great story that was hard to put down. The characters were great and it presented the tragedy of losing a child in a realistic light. Many people suffer from child abduction. This is an all true reality.
Good story. Worth the read. Second one of this series I have read.
Good resolution of a 30 year old Cold Case.
It was good reading.
Easy read. Romantic mystery. Good plot.
Quick reading.
I’m not finished yet,but look forward to reading more from this author.
