I loved this book! I could not put down. And highly recommend it.
No sex or gore and the kidnapping of 2 little girls make this an easy read, but the ending stretched my credulity (as did the shower scene).
As always Cheryl Bradshaw doesn’t let you down. A great book in this series I always enjoy.
Another great mystery! I also appreciate that while it deals with difficult topics, it does it well. Enjoy following Sloane’s mysteries.
I’m a fan of this series featuring Sloane Monroe, a feisty, no-nonsense private eye with a heart of gold and a sly sense of humour. With each novel I learn more about her, her past and what drives her.
This is the joy of a series. Pretty much like in real life, you get to know the characters a bit better the more time you spend with them. So it …
Great story, love the author.
really fun read. just enough mystery to keep turning the page. kind of quirky , with good life values and caring emotions.
a really good mystery
Bradshaw develops her characters well so I enjoy her books
I really enjoyed this book
Great read
Awesome book
Really enjoyed the characters, had to purchase other books in the series, very enjoyable
Loved it!!
Having read this book first in this series made it a little hard to understand the characters in the book. But enjoyed it and now I am reading Bed of Bones which is more confusing as it doesn’t actually start up where this one left off. Makes it confusing. Maybe it is just me.
Easy reading
A good story with a reasonably happy ending.
Very well-written and edited, which I find unusual for an e-book. Nice mystery with a hint of romance. Interesting characters. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I’ve fallen in love with Cheryl Bradshaw’s Sloane Monroe series. This book was tough because it was hard to read about children kidnappings and the effects it has on their families. Plus Sloane, is moving on from Giovanni. But his secret life hurt them. I’m not liking this Cade as much. He reminds me of Nick, Sloane’s boyfriend from Black Diamond …
This book was a real page turner. Full of suspense
