My ex-boyfriend is about to die in a snowstorm—because we’re trapped together and I just might kill him.Aaron broke my heart, stole my client, and forced me out of a job I loved. I don’t even want to see his stupid, handsome face, let alone pretend to be a couple. Too bad there’s a blizzard raging, and the innkeeper won’t rent us the last room until Aaron convinces her it’s our honeymoon. Like … it’s our honeymoon. Like I’d ever marry him!
Sharing close quarters should be a nightmare after everything he’s done, but with him pretending to be a loving husband, I start to remember the good times. How it feels to curl up next to him. The way his strong hands rub my shoulders when I’m tense.
He’s charming when he wants to be, keeping me from going stir crazy and holding me tight when the power goes out. When I see how great he is with the kids at the inn, it reminds me of the future I thought we’d have together. Is it possible I was wrong about him? He claims he wants a second chance, but that might be even more dangerous than the storm outside.
Stranded with the Ex-Boyfriend is a romance novel with steamy scenes, no cheating, and a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Aaron and Tori. Aaron is her brother’s best friend and they dated. Tori and Aaron have been friends for years, but a year ago their relationship feel apart. Both work in real estate. So when at a conference and she sees him with an old colleague it’s too much and she leaves. Unfortunately she drives herself into a snow storm. But when Aaron comes to rescue her she’s but sure why. Being stuck at a b&b for a week gives them time to work on their issues. Great HEA in the end.

Tori is a real estate agent opening her own business. She previously worked at a large agency with Aaron. The owner was his mother. Something terrible happened there with Aaron doing something awful. Tori wanted nothing to do with him ever again. Then they see each other at a conference. A blizzard. A stranded woman. A rescue. An inn. Pretending. What a fantastic story and I absolutely loved it. And the dialogue between the gorgeous Aaron and the beautiful Tori was great.
Tori and Aaron had a bad break up. Tori saw Aaron with another woman are a convention. She left and was driving in a blizzard. She went off the road and was stuck. Little did she know Aaron went after her to make sure she was safe. After a while they saw an inner and checked in under a lie. They soon discovered they both still loved each other and talked and overcame the past.

The author has given characters we can connect with. Tori and Aaron are trapped by a snowstorm and there is only one room available at the B&B. They pretend to be married for the benefit of the owner but when past, present and future collide anything can happen.

This was actually quite a sweet second chance story with a touch of hotness. Former lovers as well as work mates Tori & Aaron reunite at a conference, which leads her to fleeing with him following behind.
I wasn’t overly into the scenario at the inn, a bit too much for me. Other than that it wasn’t too bad.

Stranded with the Ex-Boyfriend
By Sophie Brooks
Main Characters: Tori and Aaron

4 out of 5 stars
This is a second chance contemporary romance with an HEA ending. This was s cute read and I especially liked Aaron’s character. He was funny, cute and just an all-around nice guy. I just wish when I read these romances that the ex-couples communicated better from the beginning. Lack of communication seems to be the biggest thing getting them all in trouble with all the misunderstandings.

This was an incredible story. The characters bantering and joking around was entertaining. The little twist in the plot gave it a little bit of an edge. The storyline was spot on. The ending was sweet.

I enjoyed this “second chance at love ” story. Victoria and Aaron are awesome people who belong together and being trapped in a major snowstorm at a small bed & breakfast is giving them time to see the truth. Their fellow guests are lovely characters who have their own stories. I loved book 1- Stranded with the Billionaire. Looking forward to book 3, Stranded with the Stranger. Sophie’ s books have the best most loving male love interests. Linda
I just finished reading Stranded with the Ex-Boyfriend and I loved it. The chemistry of Tori and Aaron were awesome even if they were not together anymore. Tori was an up and coming real estate agent trying to make her own company. Aaron was part of Chicago’s best real estate firm. Both were attending a conference in Ohio. Tori was networking and handing out her business cards and Aaron was there with a very beautiful colleague. Tori was upset and left to go home but got stuck in a blizzard in her convertible. During her chapter of the book, she kept blaming her ex for her problems. But she was now stuck in a snow drift without any help in sight. Not long after a car comes into view and low and behold it is Aaron her ex-boyfriend. She really doesn’t want to get in the car with him, but what choice does she have? They happen upon a B&B and have to trudge in snow to get to it. A young man answers the door and tells them he can’t rent a room unless they are married per his grandmother’s rules, so they have to pretend to be married. Tori has a problem staying with Aaron and it drives her crazy. She and he both feel something but can’t get past the hurt. As the days go on and with no leaving there anytime soon, they try to make the best of it by interacting with the other guests. Soon Tori and Aaron are playing the part of the married couple, but which parts are real and which parts are made up? As the book goes on, Tori and Aaron start to feel something for each other, was it always there and did it just get swept away with all the hurt? I love how they banter throughout the book. Aaron is a great story teller and soon guests want to know how he proposed to Tori. He tells them and Tori realizes that that part wasn’t made up. If they stayed together, she thought that is how he would have proposed. They really need to talk about what happened in the past to get on with the future. So, they do and there were a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunications that lead to their breakup. It was a fantastic book to read about a second chance to make it right. I highly recommend reading this story. There are steamy parts to it which will have you swooning!!!

I very much enjoyed this second chance story. Tori and Aaron came out better the second time around. It seemed like they had a better relationship than previously. Enjoyed all the side characters also. They brought a lot to the story, I also enjoyed the stories Aaron told.

A second chance at love
Tori and Aaron are exes that run into each other at a conference. She isn’t quite ready to see him, so heads out to return to Chicago. He’s not willing to let her go a second time and wants to make things as right as he can. They both end up stranded together by the blizzard that forces them to try to find mutual understanding of what happened. Repressed feelings are released, and they seem willing to see if they can work things out. Great characters in this well written story.

This book was such a wonderful read with the great character and storyline development that as I turned the pages Tori and Aaron totally pulled me right into their journey as it effortlessly unfolded!
Stranded with the Ex-Boyfriend is book two in the series Snowbound Billionaires by author Sophie Brooks. Intriguing second book – this one has a bit of a mystery.
Misunderstandings – misconceptions are abound in this one. You know the sayings about, truth setting you free-or speaking from your heart, well they have merit. Sometimes all we need is a snow storm to see the light!
Enjoy!!
This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

All is not what it seems: cute, romance with a touch of intrigue
4-4.5stars
Good, well-written romance, with a varied and interesting crew of characters at the B&B, a pinch of mystery and intrigue with some unexplained shenanigans that target Heroine Tori, and a history of communication breakdown to remedy before the romance gets repaired. I enjoyed the couple’s chance isolation and the perfect opportunity to set things straight. There’s some steam, but it’s not excessive (unless you maybe ask Kay, the supermoralistic owner of the B&B!). If you liked Stranded With the Billionaire, the previous standalone in the series about Tori’s brother, there’s every likelihood you will enjoy this one too. I did!
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

This is the second book in the Snowbound Billionaires, it is a second chance romance that is well-written and has wonderful characters. Tori and Aaron had a bad breakup a year ago and she has avoided him ever since he ruined her career and broke her heart, all in one sweep. Aaron has always loved Tori and when she leaves a conference and runs straight into a storm, Aaron leaves to go after her. They have loads of misunderstandings and hurt to deal with. Fortunately being stuck together during a storm while pretending to be married will force them to confront the past and perhaps a HEA. Sweet story, there is plenty of emotion pouring off the pages…..
