“Full of Irish charm, sweeping scenery, and swoon-worthy romance.” – Jay Crownover, NYT bestselling author I need a wife if I want to help save my family’s billion-dollar pub empire. There’s just one problem: I never plan on marrying. So, I need someone who understands that this is just another business deal. I don’t do commitments. And my brother’s executive assistant, Fallon Smith, fits that … assistant, Fallon Smith, fits that bill.
Fallon needs help with her grandmother’s expenses, and her pretending to be my fake wife is a way we can make that happen. She’s not my biggest fan, but we can help each other and then go our separate ways. That she’s beautiful and I enjoy spending time with her-doesn’t matter. When all of this is done, she’s heading home to America, and I’ve got a company to run.
A fake wedding and a whole lot of whiskey. What could go wrong?

HOLY. SMOKES!!! Magan Vernon comes out swinging with Straight Up Irish!!! I’m suddenly craving some whiskey and a handsome man to keep me company. GRAB THIS BOOK!!!
The book has a slow start, but besides that we don’t have any background on the characters just that they already know each other.. the ending of the book was a little predictable even within the first chapters.. the European setting was nice for a change, but I found the chemistry between the MC’s barely there and the sexy times were okay.. I wanted a little more angst and too much time passed in between chapters…
Straight Up Irish will hook you in a matter of seconds, taking you on a seamless romantic journey, filled with laughs, steamy moments, and hypnotizing writing. Their chemistry is off the charts and makes their mutual agreement for a fake relationship & marriage believable. Fallon & Cooper begin a journey neither expected to turn into a real romance. Elizabeth Klett & Richard Sawyer do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. I wholeheartedly suggest reading or listening to this book.
Entertaining. Fun characters. Charming ending.
Really good book overall!!
Loved that the male lead was such a gentleman!
Fun and a little twisted ( the will). In general an easy fun to read book. Very Irish and loved the easy to read without all the expected garbage.
Never finished it.
Went ahead and bought the next book in the series!

Absolutely loved this book. Rooting for the characters so much. So excited about the other books.
This is a nice diversion if some of the cringeworthy moments don’t ruin it for you. Recommended for fans of the genre.
