Noemi Cruz is a woman who is blessed with beauty, intelligence, and money. After losing her parents and her grandparents, she and her brother have inherited a nice sum of money and an old Brownstone in one of the swankiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NY. Life isn’t perfect, but as long as they have each other, she can live with it. That is until her brother and his family move to Silent Creek, NY, … NY, a county in the upstate country region.
Noemi, who is a self-described city girl and could never imagine living anywhere else, finds herself in Silent Creek when she has to visit her brother and drop off her precocious twelve-year-old niece. When her car breaks down on the way to his house, the town’s sexiest man, Alex Knight, comes to her rescue. Alex is a former professional baseball player who owns the town horse ranch with his father, but he isn’t the best businessman. His biggest flaw is taking in horses when their owners cannot pay for their upkeep. This puts the ranch in jeopardy but Alex doesn’t care, all he wants to do is help horses in need. Ranching, fishing, and riding his motorcycle are what makes him happy. When he meets Noemi, he knows he wants to make sure she doesn’t leave. Seeing the type of sass she has, he challenges her to stay. Will Noemi change her mind or will she head back to Brooklyn where she already has a life waiting for her?
Storms of Summer isn’t just a story about lust and love. It’s also a story about family and how much you are willing to give up and take on when you are needed during a tragic event. It is a story about a brother and sister who lean on each other when times are hard and who come to realize that even though they have been dealt more than their share of tragedies, they still have each other.
Storms of Summer is a story that will resonate with many for years to come.

I loved the raw emotion that this book threw at me. The author had me on page one as I embraced this story and fell in love with their struggles. This was definitely worth the read and I am looking forward to more by this author.
Wow, wow, wow. What an amazing book. This is my first book by this author but it definitely won’t be my last. This book was an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. Highly recommended.
This book had it all. A spunky New Yorker that turned into a country girl. A family that knows lost but still holds their own. A rancher that found love with the New Yorker. Noemi was a New Yorker that was taking care of her niece for 3 weeks. She went to drop her off and the car broke down and a rancher named Alex found her and her niece. This is a world wind story with love and sadness and everything in between. Noemi wasn’t sure what she wanted until her family needed her to be with them. To help take care of them. She’s a stubborn woman but loves fully. Great book.
This book is full of romance, heart ache and suspense. It flowed well and made you feel along with all the characters as they went through the struggles of life. It was pretty well written in third person unlike a lot of books. Easy to follow and good to read
With this book, I had such an emotional rollercoaster I could actually relate and feel all emotions being hit. The book is a very written well written one, and so real in somes daily lives. I loved the story of both heartache, love, passion, traumatic, happy, sad, up, down. But, I’m not a spoiler, but will tell you that things don’t always work out the way you want, but can still have a sad, but very happy ending. I recommend this as a super great read, and I mean super great ending. Also, some HAF scenes to makes things spicy lol.
Storms of Summer is a wonderful read. Belle has written such a great Novel with Storms of Summer. Alex and Noemi have a connection that is one of finding your soul mate. They have to learn to fight through obstacles to find happiness. This book has a myriad of emotions which you encounter. Fabulous book!
Such an emotional journey! The main characters Noemi & Alex have many lessons throughout the book mainly trust and that’s a big one to keep them together. A small town Romance. I laughed cried and wanted to scream with these two!
This author is very talented. She had me really hating on the h in this book and then liking her by the end. She is really a biotch., but don’t stop reading because you hate her because you’ll miss out on a really good book. This is a really good “ugly cry” book too. Have plenty of tissues handy. There is also some really hot steamy scenes…lots of them…really hot.
I loved this book! It had everything you need in a book: friendship, family, drama, angst and love!! The main characters are phenomenal! You really feel the words! I would enjoy reading a book with the secondary characters! Highly recommend!
this book made me cry because I can relate to about half to what this book is about. There is a lot going on and losing some of the people you love way to much is hard on every one
Love, loss, twists, turns, murder, secrets galore, suspense, drama, misunderstandings and a fabulous HEA are the reasons you should not miss out on this book. Naomi and Alex are an awesome couple that you will fall in love with. The secondary characters are just as fabulous and bring a lot to this story. The writing is so well done that you won’t put this one down once you start it. I can’t wait to read another book from this outstanding author!!
“I don’t know. It was like a storm. You know, like one of those storms of summer where you see it coming but just need to stay and watch as it takes over and drenches everything and everyone.”
Another very well written book by Ms Belle who delivers a story that touches on difficult times and tough subjects. Once again I experienced all of the feels and live those twists you don’t see coming. Variety of all kinds are included in this story, the green eyed monster makes an appearance, add some angst, a little swooning, a whole lot of lust, suspense and drama. A well thought out storyline with perfectly developed and relatable characters who were easy to connect with. I must admit at times I wanted to backhand both of the leading characters, although we relish those we learn to love as we keep turning the pages.
Noemi had struggled through life losing her family members way too early. She had a close bond to her brother as a result of the things they’d shared. A self confessed city chick, who finds it hard to let go, can’t be told, is rather spoilt and on the surface is actually quite selfish. Never judge a book by its cover or those red souled shoes unless you want to eat humble pie. Alex Knight runs a horse ranch with his father in Silent Creek. This wasn’t his life’s ambition but we have to make the most of what life deals us. Money is pretty tight, but Alex can’t turn away a horse or neighbour in need. Noemi finds herself stranded on a backroad when a tall drink of water comes to her rescue. The attraction was palpable from that first moment, but that would be way too easy and life is far from easy. This family and the small town community are faced with some of lives toughest challenges along a winding, bumpy track.
