With a loan shark at her door, can Louisa accept the protection of the brothers Freed? After her mother’s sudden death, abandoning the brothers Freed in the French Alps had been a knee-jerk reaction. Now she is alone once more. When a loan shark comes knocking on her door demanding payment for her mother’s debt, Louisa finds herself in danger from a merciless criminal. Saved from a brutal beating, … from a brutal beating, Bryce Freed offers her the safety of the Freed family home, a job within their company and a warm spot in their beds. At the end of book 1 Louisa runs. In this next book the guys find her. Of course they are just as broken as she is. Can they overcome everything and grow in strength together. I hope so. All four characters deserve love.
Louisa and the Freed Brothers have not had the best of times while they were younger and this leaves them all “broken” in some ways. With the death of her alcoholic mother, Louisa left the men she has been growing to love and is reunited with them in a way that is heartwarming and action packed in the same way. I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment to the Brothers Freed series.
Louisa and her guys are all kind of broken, and we get to see how that impacts them and their relationships in this story. I like how they all come together and recognize each other’s vulnerabilities. And support each other. I also liked the secondary story with Nisha and Cal. This is the second story in a trilogy and I would recommend reading Avalanche of Desire before you read Storm.
Bea did an amazing job on the follow-up to Avalanche of Desire! In the sequel, we find Louisa reeling after suffering a loss and trying to put her life back together. Bad people come after her and its the Brothers Freed to the rescue! Louisa tries her best to keep her distance after running away from Hudson, Bryce, and Max at the chalet, but the connection between the four of the them is too strong and she ends up back with them thank goodness haha.
I really loved how real Bea made the relationship between Louisa and the brothers. They are all dealing with their own demons and they are slowly helping each other heal and lower their walls. I loved how they defended her and protected her and Louisa helped them open up and deal with their emotions. I also loved how the employees at their company were their friends or people they knew from their days in the foster care system. Once the brothers care about you, you are part of their family.
This book had some great steamy moments along with the action and suspense! Loved that the got more comfortable with each other and there was some 2-1 time (*fans self*). I liked that Max became more confident with Louisa and Bryce got to have some more tender moments. I think Hudson is still my favorite in terms of a connection with Louisa (his moments with Louisa just hit me in the feels a little more than with Bryce and Max). But seriously, can I have my own Bryce?!? I mean I would die to have all 3 of them haha. Club and pool scenes were definitely my favorite heated moments 🙂
Bea also introduces some awesome side characters in this book, Nisha (Louisa’s BFF) and Cal (the brothers’ bodyguard). We get to see them overcome some barriers and be there for each other during a rough time. I hope Bea has enough time this year to give us a novella for them!
I would highly recommend this book and this RH series!! Can’t wait for Book 3 but sad to see the trilogy come to an end <3
Loving this contemporary RH series. The brokenness of the characters lends reality to the story and their struggles to form a meaningful relationship in spite of their pasts. A lot of action and drama in this book and a hell of a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to read the last one.
This is the second book with the Freed Brothers and they are even hotter this round. Feelings get involved and everything has to get sorted from the ending of the previous book. We really get to know more about the characters and their lives in this book. It was a great ending to the story. The narrator did a good job but sometimes the guy voices seemed a little weird.

Bea Paige is my new reverse harem queen
Yes, Yes, Yes! Bea Paige is just casually killing the reverse harem game with this series. Even if you removed the naughty bits (which you shouldn’t) the storyline is engaging and keeps you reeled in needing to know what will happen next. I thought I loved the Freed brothers in the first book well I fell even harder for them in this one. And I need a spin off with Nisha and Callum. I just know there is more to him and I would love to find out. I can’t wait to read the last book in this trilogy.
I would recommend this to fans of the first book, reverse harems, sexy protective alphas, mysterious best friends, romantic suspense and badass ladies

I’ll be honest, when I carried on with this book, I was totally expecting the beginning that there was. I really liked it, but I just wasn’t expecting it. We see more of Louisa’s life in this book; in the same vein, we do eventually learn more about the guys – their background, how they run their company, etc. There’s also a lot of character/relationship development in this book. The plot was a bit more fast-paced in this one, I felt. There was more action to it. There’s also much more of a sense of what life may be like for them. It was straight onto book 3 for me.
Beautiful
A second wonderful story in this series. Her mom may not have been the best but Louisa loved her. She has to bury her and thank goodness for Richard and her friends Niesha. Bryce comes into the restaurant she is working but he ends up saving her from the loan shark. She has her men back and she and her friend are safe.
Storm of Seduction is absolutely amazing and hits right in the feels!
Louisa is not only confronted with her mother’s death but also with a brutal loan shark. With her suddenly leaving the brothers she has to face the consequences of her mother’s poor life decisions all alone…well that’s what she thought. When Louisa needs help the most Bryce appears and saves her from a brutal beating. Because of the constant threat of the loan shark she has no other choice than going with Bryce and seeking refuge with the brothers Freed. Now living with them she has to face her feelings, as tough as it might be, even tougher than dealing with a loan shark.
Lousias journey of discovering her feelings and accepted them is really emotionally intense. Seeing the characters struggling with their pasts and how that influences their future is so relatable and has hit right in the feels. You’ll get sucked right into this amazing story of loss, building trust, accepting who you are and undeniable, unconditional love!
Bea Paige killed it! (Just like the ending killed me, I need moooooree!)
#MUST-READ #alltimefavorite
Loving the Brothers Freed series by Bea Paige.
Here in book 2 we see Louisa and her men come back together, after Louisa hears some bad news. This book is all about the four of them coming together, entrusting one another, and sharing parts of themselves to each other. One again, Bea Paige has made us feel so much in regards to these wonderful characters whose crime is to care too much. I can’t wait to see what happens in book #3 – Dawn of Love
**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author for review consideration**
Wonderful book that has Louisa having to confront her feelings about the brothers Freed while dealing with the aftermath of her mother’s death. The writing is wonderful and really makes you feel the turmoil that Louisa is going through.
I love how Louisa and the Freed Brothers relationship progresses throughout this book. I also like how the characters are starting to heal their own broken edges together and are wiling to work for the relationship they want. I can’t wait for book 3.
Book two in the Brothers Freed trilogy which is turning out to be quite incredible I must say. This one picks up shortly after the events of book one with the funeral of Louisa’s mothers and her having fled from the guys feeling she is not good enough. Life is turning out be rough and gets even worse just as the guys hunt her down. To save her they take her home and what follows is a relationship that really starts to grow between them all. i was loving the little personal details that were being shared as well as the incredible steps they were all finally willing to take in order to build the foundation that will be important later. That does not mean that there not plenty of steamy parts and even a touch of danger/suspense to really keep you hooked as the story develops. If you enjoy contemporary reverse novels then you should really try this trilogy as I swear it just keep getting better as it goes along. I loved every page and whimpered when it was over so I give it 5/5 stars.
