She’s not a queen. She keeps telling herself that, but fate has a funny way of telling her otherwise. Because she is a queen. A Peacequeen; divined by the gods and goddesses, fated to wield an array of magic and a convoy of powerful men. After being taken to Yamar, a kingdom hidden in the sands, Catryn is faced with a sinister discovery. One that overwhelms both the inhabitants of the city and … overwhelms both the inhabitants of the city and lives within herself.
The city is in danger, and she is the only one who can kill the demons who come to possess and kill its citizens. The Sultan will use her to his own ends, and there are those within the court she does not trust. The realm is simmering with schemes and plots, and nothing and no one is safe.
It is then that Catryn is forced to make a risky decision in order to save her men from the one she fears the most: herself.
STORM OF PLEASURE is a full-length epic fantasy and reverse harem romance. Due to thematic elements, this series is meant for an 18+ audience. If that’s you, please enjoy the second book in this exhilarating series.

It was a good book. Catryn is an interesting character. The details were good. To me it just seemed slow. I think there was just not enough punch for me. I kept getting distracted. It just didnt keep my attention.

Book 2 of this series and although I thought it would have lots of steamy scenes there weren’t that many. The Peacequeen is still struggling to find balance with all that is new and basically the world comes crashing down. The book has lots going on in it and is easy to follow but it does end abruptly, I’ll have to look out for book 3.

Our heroine was a prostitute chosen by the gods for a much higher calling, one which she is still struggling to accept. She is going to need her three companions more than ever.
This is book two of the series. The book works pretty well as a standalone, although you will be missing some of the background leading to the current state.
This is a reverse harem fantasy story. I found the story to be well written and easy to read, with an interesting setting with some rather unique aspects and a nice amount of detail. The characters are also well written and diverse providing a solid mix and lots of interactions. The plot continues to be full of intrigue, twists and turns which keep the reader wondering what will come next. There is also a good bit of steam as well, although that is not the focus of the story. Overall, I thought this one was a nice step up from the first book and I am anxious to see where it goes next.
Highly recommended.

Interesting developments
—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars – Everyone seems to have big plans. The Sultan of Yamar and his people have placed their faith, wealth, and support on Cat. But when an attempt to reach for more power within her unleashes something no one expects, the event thoroughly shakes Cat’s confidence in her own abilities, especially the means to protect the three men in her convoy, who have grown to matter to her. More epic adventures are in store for her when she strikes out on her own to search for information and the will to carry out the duty she was chosen by the gods to do. Interesting developments in this installment.
Another mindblowing book in the series!
Following the events of the first book, the Peacequeen and her guardians get embroiled in more adventures. The world’s fate is at stake, and Catryn still struggles to accept that she’s the Peacequeen.
There’s action, plenty of magic, unexpected plot twists, as well as excellent world building, steamy moments and intriguing characters.
The story contains triggers that some readers may find disturbing. Reader discretion is adviced.
