Storm is book 18 in the Reed Security Series and should be read in order.StormI had one job, get Jessica “Rabbit” Finley to sell her property to Reed Security. I could do that. I was Army Strong. Hell, I took down bad guys for a living. I could handle this sexy vixen. No problem. Except, she’s a little crazy. She thinks that there are ghosts on her property, and she has the men at Reed Security … she has the men at Reed Security believing her too. But then I found out her history and it had me wondering….Was she really crazy?
Jessica
I’ve never known who I really am. My family history has been contorted into something that I can only hope to unravel in my lifetime. But then I got a clue that led me to buy this creepy insane asylum. I was told there were answers here and I’m finding them, along with ghosts that still haunt this estate. There’s an upside, though. There’s a sexy man here to keep me company. But the closer I get to finding my answers, the closer I get to being locked up in the asylum myself.
“Can I just point out that she’s not actually my woman?”
“Yeah, she should be my woman,” Tony grumbled.
“Can we please forget about the f@king thumb war? Face it, you lost. You won the battle, but lost the war. It’s over for you.”
“I wouldn’t be too confident right now if I were you,” Coop said. “I think right now she’d take Tony Tacos over you.”
“There has to be some way to prove to her that it was a one time mistake. Okay, let’s just say that I wanted help getting her back. How would I go about this?”
“Well, you have to prove to her that you are good in bed,” Hunter said. “You are good in bed, right?”
“Well, it’s not like I’m gonna prove it to you,” I grumbled.
“He’d be the one you’d go to,” Cap chuckled. “Hey,” he said, holding up his hands as Hunter advanced on him. “Wax jobs, watching people f@k, thongs, pedicures, and hot tubs. I’m just saying.”
“That wasn’t all me,” he growled.
“Doesn’t matter. Enough of it was,” Cap laughed.
“Can we get back to my issues?”
“You know what you need?” Coop said. “You need a sex tape.”
“Excuse me?”
“Yeah, you know, to prove that you can do it the right way.”
“And who exactly would be filming this? And who would it be with?”
Coop scratched his jaw and shrugged. “Okay, well, unless you have any in storage, that won’t work so well, but there’s gotta be something you can do that will show you’re not a total douche in bed.”
They all stood there staring at the ground in thought. “Really? Maggie went to you with this issue and this is who you brought me?” Cap opened his mouth to speak, but I held up my hand to stop him. “You could have brought me Sinner, the lady killer. You could have brought me the man who made his woman think he was a superhero. Hell, you could have brought me the stalker, but no. You brought me the guy who won the thumb war, but still lost the girl. You brought me the man who has a sixteen year old, but no woman. And you brought me the man who fights with his woman for a living.”
I turned and headed for the door, determined to figure this out on my own.
“Hey!” Cap called from behind me. “I showed up.”
“Yeah, the man that’s hanging onto his woman by knocking her up repeatedly. Don’t think that’ll work here.”

I was so intrigued with this well written and well planned plot from the very beginning! The characters were written with such great detail and depth that I felt I was in the same room with Jessica and Storm as their story unfolded!
Interesting plot with all the fabulous characters you love from the series! Great sass and romance with wonderful suspense!

And the hits just keep coming with this great addition to a terrific series. Storm and Jessica are a fantastic couple even if Storm keeps saying he’s not into long term or girlfriends. She fooled him! Such a hot couple. This is a little different in a long line of fantastic romance suspense stories as the hot hunks from Reed Security take on things that go bump in the day and night as Storm and Tony Tacos are tasked with talking Jessica into selling her property to Reed Security. A old insane asylum with ghosts around ever corner doesn’t scare off the Storm, and Jessica is determined to find out about her family even if it puts her in danger. I was a little put off by some of the crude guy talk in the beginning but after I thought about it it’s what guys would say. I loved Storm’s take no prisoners attitude and Jessica’s fortitude in the face of the nefarious happenings at the asylum. Good mystery and age old wrongs along with the hilarious banter between the guys to add so lightness to all the dark dealings. Another winner. Can’t wait for the next installment! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Storm’s pickup lines were hilarious as he kept them coming as he tried to hold on to Jessica’s interest at the bar. I liked the way the author likened her to Jessica Rabbit as that conjured up an immediate picture of her allure.
The storyline had a mysterious quality to it that started off with the prologue. What a great hook for this romance between Storm and Jessica as they work together to find out the history of her family and the asylum that her grandmother and mother were committed to. Lot’s of dark twists and turns in the midst of some pretty funny dialogue when it came to the members of the Reed Security family.
As Storm’s hidden mission was to procure the property that Jessica had bought, he actually knew that he had fallen for Jessica and the mission was secondary.
Easy to read with never a dull moment. This author knows how to weave an interesting tale with great character development along the way!
Another keeper!

I find it incredible that this is the EIGHTEENTH Reed Security book and hey still get better and better! Giulia Lagomarsino always gives us great characters, insanely funny dialogue between the Reed Security family members, steamy scenes, and great twist, turns, and drama. Storm and Jessica’s story is no exception to that. Jessica’s has a clouded family history, that she is desperate to get clarity on. So much so, she buys the insane asylum her grandmother spent most of her life in. Storm has his own demons, but wants to help Jessica with her’s. The story is another page turner, fast paced, laugh out loud at times, and brought tears to my eyes at others. Another fantastic job by Giulia Lagomarsino.
I received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Wow, this book was hilarious and amazing. I laughed so much at the antics of the characters. Some of the stuff they did was hilarious.
I loved Storm and Jessica, they met under some circumstances but they was really suited for each other.
I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend.
Jessica is looking for answers regarding her family’s past and the answers lie in an abandoned asylum. Storm meets Jessica in a bar but later learns she owns the property that Reed Security needs to rebuild. Will ghosts of the past define Storm and Jessica’s future?
I have read every book in the Reed Security series and have yet to be disappointed. This book is laugh out loud funny. The characters, supporting and main, are hilarious. The conversations that take place and the situations that they find themselves in keep me riveted. I did think that this book was slightly muddled at times.

Reed Securities…. I just love this series! Ms. Lagomarsino has done it again. Not only is what’s between the pages amazing, but did you see the cover? Storm is delicious! This was different, with ghosts. Fantastic release timing! Jessica is the femme fatale, or is she? Will Storm fall for this red-headed bomb-shell! What intrigue awaits the team? You’ll see. The author had me laughing and swooning! What a wonderful way to spend some time! Loved Storm!
Addictive from the beginning to the end
As usual with this author, the story is fantastic full of action, twists, with an excellent plot, a romance both hot and hilarious, just like the characters who are still fabulous and funny and courageous, as the story goes from comedy to horror from the beginning to the end.
The beginning of the story is quite surprising this time because it begins in 1954 with a love drama, but it is on this obscure past that Jessica comes to investigate her grandmother in an old asylum that she bought, which seems haunted and she understands that her family history is still very obscure.
The Reed agency will help her indirectly at first, because they want to buy her property to rebuild the agency (because of what happened in the previous stories), but Storm who had already met in a bar Jessica (and had been partly rejected), is very attracted by her, and he takes a room in the asilum just like Tony Taco, to convince her with all their arguments. How Cap, their leader can choose between Tony and Storm: nothing easier, a thumb war. All the humor in this series is in small moments like this where when a situation happens, you never know if the team will say unlikely replicas, crazy and hilarious, do stupid things or take the situation seriously and take out the heavy weapons. Each character seems nut with a few moments when his reason is present, but their, more than doubtful, discussions return to disturb this balance.
Added to this is the old asylum which is a character too, with its secret corridors, its noises, its ghosts.
I had a great time. This episode mixes both the action of previous books, some hot scenes, but moreover, it contains much more humor, especially after everything that happened before.

Storm is book 18 in the Reed Security Series and should be read in order. A well written story that had me laughing as I read. This series just gets better with each new book, I want to read the next book. The comradery and trust between the men just keeps you reading. This is Jessica “Rabbit” Finley and Storm’s story. Continuing with the lives of the men of Reed Security. This story was full of ghosts, secrets, hot scenes, fun, and of course love. Jessica had a scary past and wanted to prove things were not as they seem. She held her own with all that happened around her and never quit. I loved that. Storm was more hesitant about his secrets, but it was heart warming when he opened up. The attraction between Jessica and Storm was quick, yet awkward and funny. I really enjoyed these two.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
Who is Jessica? What do we learn about her? Who is Wallace? What happens to each of them in the 1st chapter was shocking!!! I love when Jessica meets the women of Reed Security for the first time!!! OH MY!!!! This book was one of the most intense ones that I have read so far in this series. Between attempted murders, insane asylums, pasts, dead brothers, getting back in touch or just in touch with family, this book has something for everyone. I found the tunnels interesting!

Another hit for Giulia, she knocked this one out of the park. Love the Reed Security men and their crazy antics, advice on love and how protective they are of their loved ones. This has laugh out loud moments, tough hardened men screaming like little girls running from ghosts and solving a mystery about an insane asylum. Jessica Finley is searching for answers about her grandmother and mother who were in an insane asylum and died there. She fears that she will go crazy too and end up like they did. She purchased the asylum hoping to find the answers she is searching for. Reed Security wants to buy the asylum from her, so Cap needs someone to “woo” her and convince her to sell the place. Since Storm first met her in the bar, and was rejected, he offers to be the one. Tony Taco also wants a shot at it. A very entertaining addition to the Reed Security series. I highly recommend this book as well as the other in this series. Can’t wait for the next one

I found this book interesting with well developed and engaging characters that have great chemistry and a storyline that is well written.

It is a struggle to find anything this book didn’t include! And Storm is just too hot to handle! I feel like this book had everything you could need in a romance. Hot sexy scenes (with one that had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes), drama, action, adventure, and a fun addition of spookiness!
I loved the sarcastic, playful, spunky Jessica! She was such a great character. And I loved how she really left the guys grasping in those “what just happened” moments.
Storm was SO hot and I love how real it felt when he let everything get to his head and it affected his whole performance. He just was such the epitome of alpha. And yet he had these fallibities that just made him all the more amazing. I really liked how he second guesses himself. Makes him feel so much more genuine and, therefore, so much more appealing!
As always the scenes with the other characters were awesome and really just the cherry on top to an amazing story. The whole not being able to slam a smartphone down on a receiver was awesome! I was laughing hysterically. Each book has me chomping at the bit for the next! I just can’t wait to see what happens next!

This is the 18th book in this phenomenal series, and is Storm and Rebecca’s story. Rebecca has just purchased a property which used to be an insane asylum, and the guys at Reed want to buy it from her, and Storm is who they send to convince her. This gifted author amazes me that her stories just seem to get better and better! This is a well written story which is fun, humorous, with crazy witty banter, which all leads to an all round entertaining read, which have me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all.
Jessica is trying to find out more about her family history, with her mother dying at the Chester Insane Asylum and her mother at the clinic. She doesn’t get answers only more confusion with the doctor saying the true stories were at the asylum. Jessica decides to move to a new town, buy and insane asylum to find out about her past.
Talking with Coop reminding him of the women the others are with, gun happy, started a sex toy company, the sane one married an assassin, he doesn’t need that in his life. Then he sees Jessica Rabbit walk in the bar, watching her he ignores the voice in his head that says that’s her, which if you have read the previous books in the series never quite works the way they plan.
Cap needs someone from the team to convince a woman to sell them her property, who Storm quickly realises is his Jessica Rabbit.
Should be easy get her to sell the property, but his inner voice says it’s her, the men have advice, the women have advice that doesn’t always go as planned. Storm says there’s no such thing as ghosts so there should be nothing to worry about, it should be simple, but there was a thumb war involved.
Storm by Giulia Lagomarsino is book 18 in the Reed Security Series. This is the story of Jessica and Storm. I haven’t yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book. Jessica has come to town and bought a old build that was once a insane asylum but has some family history that she is researching. Storm is is part of the Reed Security group and they want that property that Jessica has. So Storm is going to get her to turn it over but he didn’t count on his feelings for her to be so strong. Jessica is looking into the past not looking at her future yet but Storm has now enter her life.
Enjoyed this author’s writing.
Wow! This author does it again!
Storm and Jessica’s story is phenomenal!! It kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense. There were times I laughed so hard I cried and times I gripped my kindle waiting for what creepy thing would happen next. These character are never boring and take you on one wild action-packed ride of creepiness, corniness, with a little romance that will keep you wanting lore.
I’ve lost count of how many books there are in the Reed Security series-this is the 19th? This book focuses on Storm and Jessica, and has a mystical, mysterious element to it. There are those that believe in ghosts, and those that do not. Jessica has bought the former insane asylum bordering on the Reed Security property and the story gets spooky from here. In the end, it’s the ghosts from Jessica & Storm’s pasts that must be dealt with. The characters always make the story more fun, their banter and silly pranks. I loved the plot and the connections the author made in the end, which is why she suggests you read the series in order. I felt like I got to know more about Jessica than Storm, and look forward to learning more about Storm in future books.
