Storm is book 18 in the Reed Security Series and should be read in order.StormI had one job, get Jessica “Rabbit” Finley to sell her property to Reed Security. I could do that. I was Army Strong. Hell, I took down bad guys for a living. I could handle this sexy vixen. No problem. Except, she’s a little crazy. She thinks that there are ghosts on her property, and she has the men at Reed Security … she has the men at Reed Security believing her too. But then I found out her history and it had me wondering….Was she really crazy?
Jessica
I’ve never known who I really am. My family history has been contorted into something that I can only hope to unravel in my lifetime. But then I got a clue that led me to buy this creepy insane asylum. I was told there were answers here and I’m finding them, along with ghosts that still haunt this estate. There’s an upside, though. There’s a sexy man here to keep me company. But the closer I get to finding my answers, the closer I get to being locked up in the asylum myself.
“Can I just point out that she’s not actually my woman?”
“Yeah, she should be my woman,” Tony grumbled.
“Can we please forget about the f@king thumb war? Face it, you lost. You won the battle, but lost the war. It’s over for you.”
“I wouldn’t be too confident right now if I were you,” Coop said. “I think right now she’d take Tony Tacos over you.”
“There has to be some way to prove to her that it was a one time mistake. Okay, let’s just say that I wanted help getting her back. How would I go about this?”
“Well, you have to prove to her that you are good in bed,” Hunter said. “You are good in bed, right?”
“Well, it’s not like I’m gonna prove it to you,” I grumbled.
“He’d be the one you’d go to,” Cap chuckled. “Hey,” he said, holding up his hands as Hunter advanced on him. “Wax jobs, watching people f@k, thongs, pedicures, and hot tubs. I’m just saying.”
“That wasn’t all me,” he growled.
“Doesn’t matter. Enough of it was,” Cap laughed.
“Can we get back to my issues?”
“You know what you need?” Coop said. “You need a sex tape.”
“Excuse me?”
“Yeah, you know, to prove that you can do it the right way.”
“And who exactly would be filming this? And who would it be with?”
Coop scratched his jaw and shrugged. “Okay, well, unless you have any in storage, that won’t work so well, but there’s gotta be something you can do that will show you’re not a total douche in bed.”
They all stood there staring at the ground in thought. “Really? Maggie went to you with this issue and this is who you brought me?” Cap opened his mouth to speak, but I held up my hand to stop him. “You could have brought me Sinner, the lady killer. You could have brought me the man who made his woman think he was a superhero. Hell, you could have brought me the stalker, but no. You brought me the guy who won the thumb war, but still lost the girl. You brought me the man who has a sixteen year old, but no woman. And you brought me the man who fights with his woman for a living.”
I turned and headed for the door, determined to figure this out on my own.
“Hey!” Cap called from behind me. “I showed up.”
“Yeah, the man that’s hanging onto his woman by knocking her up repeatedly. Don’t think that’ll work here.”

This was the best read of my life. And i’m not exaggerating. I loved the paranormal and the suspense. This book kept me with my heart in my throat all the way.

After 17 books from Giulia Logomarsino and Reed Security, I’m still blown away by this book and the storyline she has provided. If you’ve read any of the Reed Security series, then you’re familiar with the comradery amongst the characters and this one is no different. They still argue and banter back and forth until I had tears in my eyes laughing. And yet, there is an added mystery to this book that includes ghosts! Yes, you read that right. GHOSTS!! Mystery isn’t the only thing this storyline has. There’s suspense, drama, humor, and romance. I don’t believe I’ll ever get tired of the characters from this series. Each and every one of them have a personality containing enough flaws to be relatable, which only makes me love them all the more.
The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!

I just can’t get enough of the Reed men and their antics. every book I read runs me through so many emotions, I laugh out loud, sometimes cry with the emotional message in each book, but most of all I enjoy every page and this book, Storm is no different. The men all have some seriously weird quirks and this is shown in the stories. I love the underline message that is in every book, from PTSD/ Alcoholism/ compulsiveness/ dealing with Cancer and many more, it really makes you think about these and understand them a lot more. Storm has he’s own set of problems and quirks and this book is another gem. Please read the books in order of the series as you won’t get the benefit as there is a constant story all the way through about these fabulous men and their ladies..

Another absolute must read. I laughed out loud so many times at this story my family thought i was nuts. It was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the story and the characters so much. I always think I have a favourite in the series then it changes when I read the next book. Absolute perfection.
The band is back together and having a boootiful time of it. Jessica researching her grandmother, Ruth’s stay at the Chester Insane Asylum. She speaks to Dr Abner who went to work there 3 year after her grandmother was committed. Jessica looks just like her grandmother, Ruth. Elsie, Ruth’s best friend, gave Jessica background about her grandma. Jessica bought the asylm with her inheritance looking for answers. Team 6 has point. All other team members are busy with their personal courtships. So Storm is selected. He has a seemingly, relatively easy mission. Get the owner, to sell said property. Storm first sees Jessica while in a bar, throws a few pickup lines at her and she walks off laughing. Storm is intrigued! Storm gives her an appropriate, to him of Jessica Rabbit. In the old days, a ‘bombshell’! Storm and Tony, innocently go to the former asylum to try to negotiate with Jessica. That may be the last sane moment for awhile. Fantastic story! There are several surprises as the job is not as easy as it would seem. Great job. Great addition to the series. Well done. I receivd an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Love this men!
Such a Alpha crazy boys. They acting like sometimes.
But responsibility and protection is on the top this list.
This book has some other turns and twists and they are related to family mentality in 1950isch. Sickening…
Beside this Storm got lovely girl for himself,at least, for now.
Action,suspense romance and drama.
Enjoy reading,I’m off to the next one

Cap sends Storm to woo Jessica to get her to sell her property to Reed Security. Jessica bought the property where an insane asylum was to find out why her grandmother and mother died. Storm doesn’t let anyone get close to him and he doesn’t do relationships, but with Jessica it’s different. This story has romance, is funny and it has ghosts. I really enjoyed this book and the series.
I love this whole series, and the fact that each book is just as good as the last. Although, I have to admit as much as I love each book that comes out it makes me a little sad as I know the series end is coming (just give me a minute; I’m hyperventilating at just the though!). This book takes a slightly different turn compared to Giulias others but it’s as amazing as ever! Quote of the book has to be:
“I’m going to devour you like…a mangy dog…eating garbage…from a trash can.”
I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own, and given completely voluntarily.
This is book eighteen in this series! I must say that these books are not exactly standalone and this series is best read in order. That being said, do not let the number of books in this series deter you from it. This is a strong series, lots of great characters, challenges, secrets, adventures and more to keep you turning those pages faster than you think. Each book is damn near perfectly written, they will suck you in and take you on a ride you will not forget. This book is Storm and Jessica’s story. Storm has one focus, to get Jessica Finley to sell her property to Reed Security, easy peasy, right? Nope. She is convinced there are ghosts on her property, she has some of the Reed Security folks believing her and thinking she is a nut and she has Storm wanting to find out more about her on a more personal level. Jessica is looking to figure out her family’s history and hoping to do so in her lifetime. She got a lead which lead her to buy a chunk of property with an insane asylum on it. What comes first? A family history unraveled? A trip to the looney bin herself? Or a HEA and a new member of the Reed Security family? Everyone chips in with their advice to Storm which if you know this series……some of them have no place offering or sharing. As always, be prepare to laugh, cry, yell at your reading device and of course fan yourself over the spark that these two characters have and ignite. Enjoy!

While I don’t generally read paranormal romance I did enjoy this one. Storm and Jessica are both great characters and getting to see the old Reed gang is always a treat. I would definitely read more from Giulia with a paranormal theme.

I love this series!! The entire Reed Security team has demons and nightmares. Most of them are former military with multiple tours under their belts. Their women are also unique with their own traumatic histories. They aren’t secret billionaires or royals in hiding, just a regular group of damaged people who have become a family. They invoke a variety of emotions; laughing until you have tears or close to crying from their pain. It grabs you from page one and drags you into a variety of situations. The women get together, start drinking wine while they commiserate with each other and cook up the best grief for their men to rescue them. Can’t wait for the next one! Sorry, but you need to read them all in order from the beginning or you miss the action which plays into all the successive books. So worth it!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Finally things are starting to settle down for the men and women of Reed security that is until they have to tackle things that go bump in the night.
Jessica is looking for answers about her family and her past she knows her grandmother died in an insane asylum and her mother is currently in a clinic so she buys that asylum trying to find answers Only problem the guys at Reed security also want the building. Storm has seen all of the guys at Reed security find their women but he knows that sin’t for him that doesn’t mean that when he sees a hot woman he doesn’t think she could be the one but he has been sent to try and buy the asylum from its a woman who is supposed to be a little crazy herself imagine his surprise when he discovers it is the woman he was eyeing off. Once again it is the one liners and quips from the guys and girls of Reed Security that really set the tone for the entire book.
I simply can’t imagine this series ending and I mean that in the best way possible!
These heroes never fail to meet their match in a feisty female, and this story was no exception. Jessica and Storm are one heck of a pair! Add in the little issuer her property seems to have, the regular antics and banter and it’s just as fun to read on book 18 as it was on #1!

This is a very enjoyable read such a great story. The storyline is real action packed, fast paced, page turner filled with wonderful characters.
This story takes you on an action-packed adventure that is filled with suspense, emotion and some humour.

This book is the latest in the Reed Security Series. To best enjoy the book, first read the entire series (1-18) in order. You ill miss a lot of info if you don’t! It just not a stand -alone. That said, Giulia. Lagomarsino’s creativity comes through again. Storm is an awesome hero, and funny as well. Jessica “Rabbit” (nicknamed by Storm) is a strong , sassy, funny heroine. Throw in mystery and ghosts and it’s another awesome book.

Love is always a little crazy. The folks at Reed Security take the cake on the crazy, the brave, the love and the family.
When Jessica tries to dig into the truth of the history of her family she finds herself next door to Reed Security.
All kinds of crazy go on: steamy, scary, messed up but with some love.
If you enjoy steamy military action packed adventure and romance, this is crazy next level!

Just in time for Halloween, we have a haunted property, complete with ghosts. Jessica’s family has secrets, and she’s determined to uncover them. She uses her inheritance to purchase the asylum where her grandmother lived and died. She hopes to renovate the property, and find some of those secrets in the process, but someone doesn’t want her to find out what those secrets are. The property is adjacent to Reed Security, and Reed would like to purchase it. Storm and Tony Tacos rent rooms from Jessica, and they’ve been tasked with obtaining the property for their employer. There is not quite as much action and much more dialogue than in previous books, and these folks are in rare form – both the men and women were hilarious at times! Storm is hot, and got to Jessica, even with his corny come-on lines. The family reunions for both Jessica and Storm were (happy) boohoo moments, but necessary for them to move on. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Each one just gets better….
You have to read each one from the start of the series and the men and women within it. I started with Sinner and went on from there. You can’t just read one and move on to another book, oh no, you need to read the next one and the one after that, so on as you find out all the little bits of each character you begin to see the whole story of the series and those behind it. Each character brings their own bit to and and you want to know more. Don’t forget to read the series For the Love of a Good Woman with the other men involved in the series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. This is a series that’s very intense you can relate to it at some point in your life, the trials and tribulations that they go through, is something either you or someone you know has. I’ve been totally pulled in by the author and you will be to.

Jessica Finley just wants answers. Storm is trying to impress with some really cheesy lines – gave me a good chuckle. This is one book that I didn’t know whether to be scared or to laugh. Our author was evil though. There’s a third character and he was interesting especially with his interactions with Storm. He likes to poke the bear. Then something happens that just kept me saying “no, no, no!” And that’s the moment where I had to plaster myself to my chair because there’s no way I was going anywhere until I see what she had in store for all of us.
This book came out at the perfect time for more than one reason. With Halloween just around the corner, why not pick up this book. You get a little romance, a little laugh, a little mystery and a little suspense. But you also get a lot of men. I kept thinking I needed to put music on but I wasn’t sure that I really wanted some of the music we associate with that unofficial holiday. Plus I didn’t want something that would take my attention away from any scene that came my way.
The author’s series just gets better with each book and no two reads the same. It’s a great vehicle for Ms. Lagomarsino’s creativity. She knows just what is needed to turn a serious moment into a chuckle moment. The second reason that this came out at the perfect time is that I needed something to take my mind off things and I needed a reason to laugh – a lot. I know that if I pick up one of her books, both of those things are going to happen. Plus she always leaves me wanting more and thankfully she delivers on that as well.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
