StoneyI learned the hard way to never trust a woman. They don’t do anything but cause headaches and heartbreak. I know this from firsthand experience. To top it all off, I see a pattern with these bitches lying too. Which is why I swore to never let another woman into my life. While they might be in my bed, they’ll never be in my heart. I refuse to go through it all over again. You know what they … You know what they say about history repeating itself? Well, yeah, I always get the short end of the stick when it comes to lying, no good women. Call me an ass if you want but I’ll never have to deal with someone like Horse’s mom ever again.
I had a great plan and I was doing just fine until a woman I never expect waltzes in my life. From the first moment, I knew something was different and she came crashing through my walls, breaking down the defenses I had set in place for a reason.
I don’t know why the fuck I did it, but I claimed her, and now she’s my property. She belongs to me.
Question is, can I trust her, or will she lie and deceive me the way every other woman in my life has before her
Only time will tell.

This book was simply amazing. I love the Devil’s Riot MC series and this book is in no way a disappointment. Some series there could be one or two that are disappointing but no in the DRMC series. I could not put this book down and finished it in less than 7 hours. It had action, the brotherhood camaraderie, evokes feelings of joy and sadness. In other words this book has it all. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed in any book in the DRMC series but this book has to be one of my favorites. I am so glad that this book did not lament on the age difference and focus on Stoney’s and Rachel’s feelings. I liked the Stoney wanted to lift Rachel up and not tear her down as everyone in her life did before him. This is a must read book.

Typical MC story but it was written well and I enjoyed it. Rachel our heroine is on the run from her abusive boyfriend. She heads home to the only place she feels safe hoping they will protect her kids.
Stoney only has one use for women and he has plenty of club girls to give him what he needs. He has no desire for a permanent woman in his life. He never expected to want the young woman who comes home after 5 years away.
I liked their chemistry together. The secondary characters where well written and I look forward to more if this series.

They have known each other for longtime. They both have demons that get in the way of their life. They both have trust issues. With people, who want their hearts. They work to over come that issue and learn to both trust and love with out issue.
Rachel, has been raised around the club, and has been in love with Stoney since she was a kid.
Stoney is 20 years older then Rachel, but remembers her before, and that he shouldn’t touch her,but still cant seem to help himself.
They come back together, when Rachel returns to the club for protection for her twins. The fireworks between them are spectacular…
Stoney takes care of the problems, all the while by also putting his foot in his mouth, with regards towards Rachel.
They work everything out and Rachel is soon happy to be Stoney’s Property, and by owning his heart.
Rachel was all kinds of stupid for getting involved with her abusive biker boyfriend. Finding him cheating on the day she rushed over to tell him she was pregnant was the the beginning of her nightmare of abuse and imprisonment.
Her escape to her cousin’s MC and into the arms of the club’s president, Stoney was the beginning of her rescue and HEA, but sadly, she remained pretty stupid.
Her judgement and self preservation skills were sorely lacking and made it hard for me to like her.
The author did infuse her with a super sweet temperament when it came to her twin babies, which was a nice touch.
Super steamy scenes with Stoney/Scott, and I liked their relational dynamics. He made his share of boneheaded decisions and he said an awful lot of stupid things that hurt Rachel deeply.
Lots of detailed gory violent scenes that I almost had to skip through. The author may have crossed my personal mental line but stopped before it became a DNF for me. Not for the squeamish, that’s for sure.
Lots of meaty drama in the midst of Stoney’s realization that Rachel and her kids were his forever. I did not like his slip up with the two club women who wanted him back. Yeah, he messed up even though he didn’t actually cheat. Kudos to the author for having him man up and own up to it. I thought that was a nice touch even though that scene made me kinda sick.
Full of revenge and retribution with intense scenes.
The ending left me feeling like this was more of a HFN as it suggested more to come with Stoney’s past catching up with him.

Oh my God. Stoney is so hot. I already loved him in Alluring Allies (Twisted Steel Anthology) and was so glad that he got his own story. As always, Elizabeth Knox doesn’t disappoint. Stoney in connection with Rachel is an explosive mixture that is just fun to explore and to get to know. I read the book in one go and can’t wait to read more of them.
I absolutely loved this book.
The story was very well written and sucked me in from the very first page.
Stoney and Rachel had steamy and hot chemistry.
Loads of MC action and adventure.
I would recommend this book to others.

Love everything about E.C.Land!! And this did not disappoint… Stoney and Rachel start off with a bang (literally) and just keep going. Rachel seeks refuge at her cousins MC and she meets up with Stoney. She had loved him when they were younger and the sparks still fly!! Great action packed page turner with MC drama and a HEA!!! Cant wait for the next one!!!

This MC story gripped me right from the very beginning! The great storyline and the strongly created characters had me totally captivated as the story between Stoney and Rachel totally unfolded!
E.C. Land has built this amazing MC world where the characters from different series crossover and engage dynamically with each other making the reader feel like they are interacting with friends and family rather than watching from afar. Stoney and Rachel’s story began years ago and the attraction never fizzled out. Now she’s literally slammed into his life again where the two of them will be forced to fight with each other and outside threats to prove that second chances are possible no matter how old you get. I highly recommend this amazing 5 star read that will have your attention from beginning to end.
