Kyle and Gina or Elizabeth
Kyle is the youngest Stone brother. Going to bed school and bei g a resident he had no time to date. So he always used Gina for release, as she did him. When he finds a pregnant woman to afraid to come into the ER because she had no insurance. He knew there was something special. But he didn’t know exactly how special. Elizabeth changed home so much but he knew he was crossing the line. It wasn’t until Gina opened her big mouth and told Elizabeth he paid for her long hospital stay after the baby came. She bolted but 6 months later she returned. All hell breaks loose but in the end Ethan will make it right. Elizabeth who wins the best thing that ever happened to her.
I just loved this story as I did the two brothers before him! I definitely recommend this series!!! I love how it follows with the Mitchell sisters!
Stone Vows is such an amazing book! It’s not my favorite of the Stone Brothers series (that would be Stone Rules), but it’s story is still powerful, sweet, and will steal your heart. Kyle is suppose to be the quiet “do-gooder” of the three Stone brothers, and he is that, but he does have a strong alpha streak in him that will make you swoon. It is odd reading about the Hero’s sexual exploits with other women before he’s met/with the Heroine. That wasn’t my favorite. However, I do understand how it pertained to the development of the story. But aside from that one complaint, the book is excellent. The Heroine is complex and deep, and Kyle is such an easy Hero to swoon and fall hard for. I love how you always get to check in with your other favorite characters from her past series. Samantha Christie has a special gift for doing that without making it seemed forced.
I highly recommend Stone Vows. You’ll be glad you read it.
So many ups and downs. Love Kyle. He is just so dreamy and always striving to help others. I love how drawn to Lexi/Elizabeth he is and how he tries to do everything by the book but can’t stay away from her side. A couple things I was not a fan of was how I feel like Gina got off the hook for literally blowing up their happy world. Like I know from work she had no right to go threw her chart and financials then blow his cover of paying her bills. Yeah he hid it but only because he knew she wouldn’t like it and he never wanted anything in return he wanted it to remain anonymous. Then I hated how her ex seemed to get everything he wanted. That’s BS. His ass should be in jail. Loved the HEA.
This is the second Stone Brothers book I have read. I loved it just as much as the first and am looking forward to reading the next one!
I loved this book! Samantha Christy has developed great characters and stories. So much so that I immediately read the other two Stone books and all the Mitchell sisters books. You can’t help but fall in love with the two protagonists of each book. Strong men. Strong women. Men willing to be vulnerable. I enjoyed having the books written from each character’s perspective. The shift in the middle was natural. Each character had a unique voice. Overall great read.
OMG!! I am in love
I cannot help but be in love with this book and the rest of the books in this series. I just love how you cannot help but fall in love with the type of man that Kyle is. Willing to help strangers on the street with no thought to himself. I believe this series is the reason I have had virtually no sleep in the last 48 hours, I just couldn’t put it down. Each one of the books brought something else to the table.
I know that it is always hard when running from the scary things in ones life and you are always afraid to trust anyone. Elisabeth want to trust Kyle you can tell by her emotions thru every page. This author does a wonderful job bringing you into each one of the characters lives. In the end you feel like you are just part of the family because you know everyone so well. So much detail in everything you read.
Love the story and the Stone brothers can’t wait to read the other books in connection with these.
Until Next Time…. Tabi
Really 4.5! Loved it, but Purple Orchids still stands out in my mind. I have had this on my KU list for a while, wishing I had read it earlier. However, I have Caden’s story ready to go. Really well edited, which is so welcome after some not so well edited reads.
Kyle is the last Stone brother to get his story. He is a second year resident, working through his rotations. While on the ER rotation, he meets Elizabeth, pregnant and secretive. Just as he moves to the OB rotation, she is admitted for bed rest. (Coincidence? I think not!) Anyway, they form an attachment, with both of them feeling the stirrings of love. Elizabeth is running from something, and takes off when she is discharged from the hospital with her new baby. Months pass, Kyle tries to move on and suddenly, Elizabeth is on his doorstep. How will he react? Will he let her in again? What exactly is she hiding? Or better yet, from whom?
So glad I finally read this. So happy to see more of the previous characters – especially as they were fairly involved and not just visiting. Although I did feel that wrapping things up with Grant was a little rushed and a tad bit unsatisfying. Really love Ms. Christy’s stories. Looking forward to Caden’s story. Enjoy!
Samantha Christy writes great romance that’s fast and easy, steamy, and very enjoyable.
Be prepared to cry your eyes out. Great read
I have been a fan of Samantha Christy’s books since first reading Purple Orchids last year. And while the Mitchell Sisters series was great- trust me, I’ve read them multiple times- Stone Vows blew me away. This is definitely my favorite!
Christy can write some fabulous characters. They’re well-developed, imperfect (in just that perfect kind of way), and make you care about them. Kyle and Lexi certainly have those qualities. I cared about what was happening to them, and couldn’t wait to discover their secrets.
The plot was also well-developed, and it kept me revising what I was predicting throughout. It was also great catching up with the other Stone brothers, as well as the Mitchell sisters and all their significant others!
This book is a hit! I can’t wait for Caden’s spin-off in the fall!
