I LOVED this box set so much but Spencer and Garret’s stories have to be my favorite two out of the four Spencer and Michelle have a witty and often times awkward build up to their relationship that was not only hilarious but completely believable then there is Garret and Erika and their intense and angst filled story that was so difficult to put down one minute they’re fighting against their chemical pull to each other then in the next they can’t help but collide in a spectacular way this set has 4 great books that has a little something for everyone

Nice debut collection by new author
The Stone Valley Romance Box Set are the first books I have read by Kate Swain and is her debut. This set contains four short stories each with a different couple and a different situation but all have the small town of Stone Valley as the backdrop. Each is well written with a nice story-line and interesting couples. As they are all short there is not a lot of depth but that is okay as this set is a nice introduction to the writing and storytelling styles of a new author.
This is an enjoyable lite insta-love collection.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is a great box set of 4 short and sexy stories set in Stone Valley. It’s instant attraction in a small dying town. Each story has it’s own couple and story line. I highly recommend this book set!

This is a great box set containing four individual short stories that are all set in Stone Valley. I enjoyed the fact that each story was different characters and situations, so it gave quite a bit of variety. I just read the whole thing in one sitting but obviously as they are all different stories they could be read over some length of time.

3.5 star review:
Well written short stories. Nice storylines and plot. Would have liked more depth in them but easy and enjoyable to read. Well described characters who develops nicely.
A set of four fantastic insta love books that are perfect for an afternoon of me time. The stories are short and fast paced with well wtitten characters and story lines.
Loved all four stories about a little town trying to revive its self by attracting tourists to it.
There are enemies to lovers, second chances, fake engagements filled with steamy scenes and lots of loving.
I definitely recommend this box set.

These short stories tell the romance of four couples in a small town setting and the rebuilding. We have sparks at city hall. Michelle and Spencer meet one night in a bar. Huh typical start of a story. But these two hit it off like hot and steamy. But no names where exchanged just his phone number. Spencer was president of the chamber of commerce. Michelle turns out was a new town official. Just in from Chicago and recently single. They work together and wham its starts the rollercoaster for the rest if the stories. The rebuilding of Stone Valley. Two competitive business owners going toe to toe. Lane and Ben don’t have the same first impressions of each other. Ben is smitten while Lane is fuming. See Ben ex marine is now retired, his bestfriend raved about his home town so much Ben decided to make it his home and open a business that suited him. A sporting goods store. Oops he failed to mention that to his buddy. Turns out Lanes family had that same business a few blocks away, but in all fairness it looked CLOSED. But Lane doesn’t play fair she resorted to a childish prank that cost Ben his grand opening business. But love won out and a resolution took place. A reunion with a surprise. Logan Bens bestfriend from the marines and yup Lanes older brother is back for their wedding. He reunites himself with Ashley Lanes good friend who is secretly in love with Logan. Ashley thinks this is it her chance after ten long years she can prove herself to Logan. But just like tens years ago right after they hook up he leaves for a bigger better life, he wants glitz and glamor of the big city with big money and excitement. But he left a broken hearted Ashley pregnant and alone. Thanksgiving rolls around and Logan is back, its then he realizes that he loves Ashley only after he processes his love does she tell him about the baby. Then a fake relationship to draw a crowd.
Garrett is Logans new boss and a billionaire investor who is in Stone Valley to round out the stories. Back to Spencer and Michelles idea to bring their town some much needed life by renovating the quarry. That’s Garretts role. He meets Erika at a party at Logan and Ashleys to welcome their baby. He at first isn’t interested romantically because hey small town girl he was use to the skinny model type not mousy teachers. But he proposed a solution to his permit problems, they get fake engaged he pays her one hundred thousand dollars. But she surprises him the first night out as an ENGAGED couple. He sees her differently. And off we go to the bedroom. But as she is starting to warm up he goes and opens his stupid mouth and tells her she can keep the big diamond for a wonderful night she gave him. OUCH. How deflating. So she distanced herself from him. But he only said that because he was scared of the feelings she invoked in him. But the valley worked its charms on another one and soon love and wedding bells were ringing for them as well.
I cried, laughed and scowled at these stories but enjoyed each one. There are plenty more towns folk so maybe the stories don’t have to end with these four lucky couples.

I don’t write reviews with spoilers. This series was a quick fun read with engaging characters and fun story lines for each of them. My only problem with the series is it was too short. I want more

Each book in this 4 Book Box Set had well written storylines and characters that were so well developed that I was totally engaged until the very last page!
This box set contains four full length, short stories that take place in Stone Valley, Illinois. The economy is falling, businesses are closing, and residents of this small town are leaving trying to find other opportunities elsewhere. Kate Swain has painted small town life so accurately, believe me I’m from a Hamlet in Illinois with 450 people in it. Everyone knows your business, gossip runs rampant and the unwritten rule of thumb “If you haven’t heard a rumor by 5pm, start one” most definitely applies. She gives us four residents of Stone Valley who meet their destiny and how it helps to revitalize the town. I thoroughly enjoyed this box set.
The stone valley collection contains four short stories where you get to follow, for a short time, three couples fall in love at first sight, and one couple at second sight. They are sweet love stories and I really enjoyed reading them. I would have spendt a lot more time reading long stories about all four of them if the stories are ever expanded!

This is a fun, exciting, suspenseful, hot, emotional and so much more read. It is 4 stories with a man and woman couple in each one who go through attraction, growing together and much more. This is a small town that surrounds all four stories. It needs a shot in the arm to keep from dying. I like reads like this where the stories are centered in one town as that make you feel like you belong there and that they are family. I recommend it. I received a review copy from booksprout and voluntarily review it.
3.5
I enjoyed “Spencer and Michelle” and “Logan and Ashley”.
I couldn’t stand “Ben and Lane”…very immature and that just killed it for me…which sucks as I love me a Marine!
“Garret and Erika” wasn’t bad though it took me a loooong time to even begin to like Garret.
All of them in a HEA and are quick reads!
