Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

This series just keeps getting better and better with every book and I must say that Stone Princess is my FAVORITE by far! This book picks up about 3 years after the prior book, Riven Knight, and I could not have been more excited to learn all about what the characters I had already met in the previous books were up to, and how Presley’s role was going to develop with the series’ storyline.
D Perry did a magnificent job of intertwining the back history of the Tin Gypsies, Presley’s relationships with Draven, Dash, and the other boys in the garage, and Presley’s own past. I was completely consumed by her story from the beginning and the surprises that kept popping up as the chapters went on. I loved it – the twists and turns were unexpected, as was the arrival of Shaw Valence.
I was SO glad that Shaw Valence was not your typical Hollywood movie-type. There are so many layers to this man, and the more I read about him, the more I fell for him. His determination and sense of loyalty and protective nature were such a turn-on for me; and I absolutely loved how he never let these qualities waver when it came to Presley.
Presley and Shaw’s relationship was charged from the beginning. Their banter, her feisty spirit, and his unapologetic charm created a chemistry between them that was addictive, made me grin, laugh, sigh and swoon. This couple was unexpected and I loved every second of the battles they fought with each other and others to get their HEA.
D Perry does a brilliant job with the suspense, mystery, intertwining the characters and plot lines of this series, and I’m SO glad that there is still yet another left in the series to come! Well done once again D Perry!!!
* Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.
I’ve been waiting for Presley’s story and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Lana~White Hot Reads
Presley has been through a lot in her life and comes out on top. You learn all about her life and what made her who she is. Shaw is the sexy Hollywood actor who comes into her life when she least expects it. These two are smoking hot. Loving this series.
I was a fan of Presley since we met her in Gypsy King. She is strong and brave and we finally get her story in Stone Princess. Shaw is the perfect man to fight for her heart. I loved their banter and chemistry. 5 swooning stars!
I’ve loved Presley from day one and her story was pure perfection! Jeremiah was always the unappreciative boyfriend and I could never understand why Presley put up with him. But we learn everything behind that relationship and so many more twisted secrets. Also a movie is being made about Genevieve’s mother’s death. As the crew comes to town, I loved the way the Tin Gypsies come together as the family they are to protect their own. The steamy romance was on point and Presley got everything she deserved. Loyalty, devotion and honesty. This series is everything I love about Devney Perry’s writing.
This series just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely loved our introduction to the former members of the MC club in Gypsy King and Riven Knight. But Stone Princess… whoa!
Presley has been the office manager of the garage that Dash owns since she left home ten years earlier. Draven had taken her under his wing to help her out. On her wedding day to a guy in a rival MC club, Presley gets stood up. And she is mortified. Shaw is in town filming a movie based on the murder that Draven had been set up to take the fall for. He comes into the garage with the hopes of getting some insde information, but finds himself sidetracked by Presley.
I absolutely loved these characters! Presley- and the emotions that she experienced after being left at the altar- were exactly what I would expect to feel, and I felt every single one of them while reading! And Shaw was just perfect~ I loved his passion for making movies authentic, and how real and down to earth he was. And holy sexiness! I loved how captivated he was about Presley!
While I loved the first two books in the Tin Gypsy series, I think Stone Princess is now my favorite. Well, maybe until Nobel Prince comes out….
Man, I love this world Devney Perry created so, so much!
This small town in Montana really has a special place in my heart now, as well as all the great characters.
They have each others back, no matter what and I seriously don’t see a point when I will ever get tired of that series.
I was excited for Presleys story since the end of book two, Riven Knight.
I mean how can you not be excited about it considering the way things end with Presley and Jeremiah.
Anyways, because of the fact what happened with Jeremiah ‚forgetting‘ about his own wedding, Presley has build up some walls around her, and to be honest I didn’t like her much in the beginning because she was just so rude, especially towards Shaw even tho he was nothing else than sweet to her.
Sometimes I feel like she doesn’t like herself THAT much but the more you read the book, and learn about her story you get why she acts the way she does.
Speaking of Shaw, he‘s by far my favorite hero Devney has ever created. He‘s such a sweetheart, so loving and caring, and even tho he‘s a famous actor he’s very much down to earth andd the fact that he was a cop before he became an actor is freaking hawt.
The story is well plotted and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s the Perry magic I love so much, she has that touch of suspense in her stories what makes it impossible to put the book down.
Please don’t ever stop using that magic!
I‘m really looking forward to the next book now!
Despite the opening scene picking up where the epilogue of Riven Knight finishes, Stone Princess can be read and enjoyed as a standalone.
Having said that, the reading experience will be so much richer if you have read Gypsy King and Riven Knight and know the characters, their struggles and how they’ve come to their HEAs.
The story of Presley and Shaw is unexpected. After all you wouldn’t expect to find a successful actor in Clifton Forge.
The reason for his presence in town is not well received by the former Tin Gypsies and their families and he’s not made to feel particularly welcome.
Despite all of this, he gradually insinuates himself in to Presley’s life. Presley is reluctant and rude and does her absolute best to fight the attraction between them but she fails and in the MOST spectacular way!
The story of Presley and Shaw is amazing. It’s not just being dumped at the altar, it’s not the relationship that develops and grows between her and Shaw, it’s not just the new ‘take no prisoners’ attitude that Pres is displaying, it’s not even her memories of Draven and her time, with her ‘brothers’, at the garage.
It is the expert way all of these ‘experiences’ have been woven together into a story of such epic proportions, that you can’t help but absolutely love and adore it!
Stone Princess is an absolute ‘not to be missed’ novel that needs to jump right to the top of your tbr pile!
Stone Princess is another brilliant addition to this addictive series.
I was always intrigued by Presley and her relationship with the biker no-one from the former Tin Gypsies liked, the story begins with Presley being stood up on her wedding day proving to the guys at the Clifton Forge Garage, now her family that he was never any good for her.
I love the other characters and they have always treated Presley like a sister, they are overprotective of her just as Draven had been before his death, Presley is like the sister at the garage who looks after them all.
I would suggest reading this series from the start, you would get more of an insight to the dynamics of all the relationships and how the story has progressed from the beginning following the first book and the murder of Genevieve’s mother, the arrest of Draven and the build-up to the movie now being made in their small town.
When a notorious Hollywood actor Shaw Valance comes into town to film his movie based on the town’s infamous murder it opens up wounds that are just beginning to heal for all at the Clifton Forge Garage, formerly the Tin Gypsy’s MC.
Stone Princess is a heartwarming romance, Shaw was so swoon worthy and not your typical actor who loved the limelight. When Shaw visits the garage he is instantly attracted to Presley and especially her sass and straight talking which isn’t something Shaw is used to, women are normally falling at his feet.
A brilliant addition to the series, a heartwarming story that leads to a hea, very little drama and action until the latter part of the book but addictive all the same, especially if you have followed these characters from the beginning. I am looking forward to more in this series.
ARC RECEIVED FOR REVIEW PURPOSES
A captivating story from beginning to end, Stone Princess by Devney Perry really is a great third installment to the Tin Gypsy series. The characters felt like they were truly developing and changing according to their circumstances, none of it felt fake or forced. Perry is amazing at keeping her characters both realistic and interesting. The plot line was invigorating and I was head over heals for Shaw Valance. He was just so irresistible and I loved the chemistry that he had with Presley! Loved the book and the series. Definitely a must read.
Another great addition to the Tin Gypsy series. Presley Marks is the Stone Princess, she is a jilted bride who is hiding behind a brave face. As we learn more about her history and what she had endured, we learn how extremely strong she is. With this latest heartbreak, she refuses to wallow in her pain and tries to move on, she is equally determined to not be hurt again or anyone hurting her adoptive family. So when mega star Shaw Valance comes into town to film and star in a movie based on the murder that had taken place prior, Presley was not happy and she showed it.
As we delve into Presley’s history we learn so much that made me love her so much more. She is so strong and fierce! So many twists and turns develop and it is all fantastic! Shaw is definitely swoon worthy. His past is just as fascinating, especially with how he became an actor, I loved that he is an ex-cop. The back and forth banter between Presley and Shaw was awesome. The word “no” was used a lot and it was actually really cute! You can see the chemistry between them. Presley definitely did not make it easy for Shaw but his persistence paid off. There is so much that happens in their story, issues from the past cause such a bumpy ride for them. It all definitely kept me on my toes.
Overall, I loved this book so much and I can not wait for the next in this series. Stone Princess is another must read!
This was perfect!! I am loving this series with all that I have and with every new release, my heart swells.
If Clifton Forge Valley has a reigning princess, Presley Marks wears the crown. Since Tin Gypsies leader Draven Slater welcomed her into his “family” fold way back when, the men at the Clifton Forge Garage have placed her under their protection. They make no apologies for feeling as they do about her fiancé’ Jeremiah. She deserves better, no doubt about it. Nevermind that Jeremiah is affiliated with the Tin Gypsies former rival motorcycle gang, The Warriors; Jeremiah just doesn’t treat Presley like a man treats a woman that he’s in love with. So, when the low life ghosts on Presley on their wedding day, Dash, Emmett and Leo are silently thanking their lucky stars thinking that she dodged a bullet.
Little do they know, they haven’t seen the last of Jeremiah’s ties to her life. They’ll protect her with all they’ve got and help mend her broken heart in the process.
Presley is a fantastic heroine! She’s witty, smart, loyal, fun, and as independent as a woman can be when she’s surrounded by a bunch of alpha Tin Gypsies who all think they know best. The last thing she needs is some sexy Hollywood movie star strolling into the garage, flirting with her, scamming his way into spending time with her however he can, breaking down her carefully crafted walls, and taking aim at her wounded heart. Shaw Valance should just save his bedroom eyes and sizzling smirk for someone who has the time and inclination to care about his charm and come ons. Unfortunately, Shaw likes the prickly ones. And Presley packs some serious prickly y’all! Gah…. I loved her and could relate to her so much. Don’t step on her last nerve, and you’ll get along just fine. If only, Shaw had got the memo. LOL! There were plenty of laughs as these two sparred back and forth. He just couldn’t help himself, and before long Presley started to soften as her instincts kicked in telling her that Shaw was the real deal. There was something about the pretty boy that made her feel safe.
Shaw pursued Presley at every turn. She just did it for him and he was determined to win her over. So, if you like a man that goes into full throttle chase mode to get his girl, you are going to LOVE Shaw. Let’s just say there is way more to this pretty face than Presley realizes…..he is a capable hero. A trained, capable hero and perfect for Presley! I loved getting to know Shaw and the past that he deals with, how he made himself vulnerable to her and would do anything to make her feel special. They had this instant chemistry, which was palpable throughout the book, but their relationship was truly built on mutual respect and friendship. Shaw respected her relationship with Draven and all of the Tin Gypsy men and women. He took great care of her heart and was ultimately her knight in shining armor.
This story builds on the previous events in the series, expanding on the angst and drama as well as giving you a truly terrific romance. I dare say this may be my favorite thus far. I love that there are overlapping plot points happening and yet there is a steady progression of the storyline. Devney doesn’t keep us dangling with useless filler, some aspects of the continuing TG saga are laid to rest, while new layers unfold. The series is always moving forward and I so appreciate that from her!!
Another amazing unputdownable romance read by a favorite one-click author!
A MUST READ!!!
Just…WOW!
Devney Perry ranks at the top of my list of all-time great writers. This third installment of the Tin Gypsies Series proves, yet again, that Ms. Perry knows exactly how to write a story that leaves you breathless. Presley and Shaw will steal your heart!
Oh my gosh how I absolutely fell in love with this book!! I started it and literally didn’t want to put it down. Went to bed at 3am and literally tossed and turned asking myself should I just keep reading because I couldn’t get my mind off of it!!
I loved how Presley didn’t fall all over herself when she first met Shaw. Yeah, he might be very easy on the eyes but that wasn’t enough for her. I loved how she made him work for her time and attention and loved how he was all for it.
The author has such a way of drawing you into the story and making you feel like you are there with them. I absolutely love this series and can’t wait for the next one! (I’m pretty sure I say that after reading every book of hers!)
I want to be Presley Marks when I grow up!
A tiny, feisty blonde bombshell packing attitude, Presley is one of my top heroines of all time. Fiercely loyal to the family she has chosen, soft hearted and completely selfless, she is everything I want to be and then some.
Once again Devney has weaved a story that grips you, with twists and turns you don’t expect, up until the perfect ending which leaves your heart with the warm and fuzzies to the very last pages.
Stone Princess picks up exactly where Riven Knight ended, with Presley being left at the alter by her long term deadbeat fiancé Jeremiah. Hated by her friends and family (those who work at the garage) as he is part of a once rival biker gang to the tin gypsies, Presley seems to be the only one saddened by Jeremiah’s no show at the wedding, until her sadness turns to anger and Presley realises she’s better off without the man she spent most of the past few years bankrolling.
Just to add to her stresses, a few days after the wedding that never was, Dash has news that a Hollywood film crew is soon to be setting foot in Clifton Forge to make a movie about the famous murder that happened years prior. With insider knowledge and not everything being as it seems, the crew at the garage want to stay well out of the spotlight, but unfortunately or rather fortunately in the end, Presley catches the eye of Hollywood’s hottest film star, Shaw Vallance.
Shaw has invested mountains of his own time and money into this film, believing in a script about a once good man, who did something horrific, which is a little too close to home. Shaw heads to the garage to try and make friends with those who were personally affected by the murder, but is knocked on his ass when he meets a pint sized princess with the bluest eyes he’s ever seen.
Shaw doesn’t understand the word no, and Presley’s no’s start to mean yes, but there is a time limit to their romance, Presley’s life is in Clifton Forge but Shaw’s is in Hollywood, and neither is interested in anything long term, at least in the beginning.
Without giving the story away, there are family members who turn up, hidden skeletons that won’t stay in the closet and ghosts from the past that don’t seem as scary when you have someone with you in the dark.
Although not as emotionally charged as the previous two instalments, I have to say, Stone Princess is my absolute favourite book of the series so far, I fell in love with both Shaw and Presley and the set up for the next book has left me counting down the days to its release. Another epically brilliant hit for Ms Perry, gold stars all around.
Holy Wow! I absolutely LOVED both Presley and Shaw. I’ve been waiting forever for this story and Ms. Perry did not disappoint. In fact, she just raised the bar for a heroine that will steal your heart!
‘Presley Marks was an explosion. She’d destroyed the plans I’d had for Montana.’
Recovering from an event that has left her broken and a bit reclusive, the last thing Presley wants is to have to deal with the sexy actor that comes strolling into the shop. Trying to put the pieces of her life together, the concern that Shaw is going to open old wounds for her friends makes her defensive in every way. She could handle his little excuses to show up at her place of work, but when she learns his new role in her life, she finds herself fighting to keep her wits about her in his ever-present presence.
‘Except saying no to Shaw felt like foreplay, a battle of wills to see if I could hold up my stone heart against his persuasive smile.’
I adored Presley! She’s had a rough life but she found peace and family in Clifton Forge. Fierce, loyal and independent, she has secrets that she’s only shared with one other person. The way she treated Shaw in the beginning had me laughing because she totally confused him and he couldn’t get her out of his mind. She was absolutely the definition of stone, along with icy and prickly. And yet, she had a heart of gold for those she cared about.
Shaw was wonderful as well. He set his sights on Presley and the more she refused him, the more he fell for her. While this doesn’t have extreme jealous/possessive scenes, what it did had was amazing and felt realistic. I’m not a fan of the Hollywood star trope, but as always, this author totally sold me on this hero. He was so down to earth, not a player, and was determined to win Presley no matter how long it took.
‘This woman was testing the limits of my restraint.
This woman might push me over the edge.’
Presley and Shaw’s relationship ran the gauntlet of emotions that kept me turning pages as fast as possible. They set fire to my Kindle and the chemistry between them was felt from their first meeting. Along with the steam, this had some drama trickled throughout as well as a bit of relationship angst that kept my heart hurting, yearning, cursing and cheering.
If you love a hero that does the chasing, with a possessive mentality, this is definitely the book for you!
Devney Perry has woven her magic once again! I loved Presley and Shaw! Presley is the one who runs the office in Dash’s garage. The story opens with her being left at the altar. Shaw enters the picture. He is shooting a movie about Marcus, the town sheriff who killed Genevieve’s mother, Amina. Little did he know that he had met the true Stone Princess who has built a wall around her heart. What will it take to crack through? 5 stars
Stone Princess: The Tin Gypsy Series by Devney Perry is everything you want and more.
Devney delivers suspense, love, deception, family, and loyalty all in one.
I say this every time I read Devney’s work, but this is my absolute favorite to date. She never fails to deliver a storyline that will completely captured her readers hearts and have them completely shutting out the world around them.
And in the world we’re living right now, fighting the Coronavirus, facing personal loss, and missing our fiends and loved ones this is just what we all need.
I seriously want to tackle hug Devney and tell her thank you for giving us Presley and Shaw.
These two will steal your hearts forever. Not to mention the rest of the Tin Gypsy crew.
“He gave me a family. He gave me something to fight for. I was a broken girl when I came to Clifton Forge, and he didn’t pick me up. He expected me to do it myself. So I did.” Draven hadn’t believed in victims.
May we all a family, even if it’s not blood, that will help us find the strength to pick ourselves up, and always have our backs. And a love that will know when no may actually mean yes.
5 Stars
Devney Perry does it again!! #3 in Tin Gypsy series…and it does not disappoint. All the feels!! Drama, romance, chemistry…it has it all.
Presley is jilted bride who becomes determined to not let anyone hurt or her “family” again. She is strong on the outside but is really sweet and ready for once in a lifetime love.
Shaw is an ex-cop turned famous movie actor (charisma and sex appeal…oh my yes!) who is in town to make a movie.
Presley strongly dislikes Shaw…until she doesn’t. She is convinced the movie he is making is not going to properly reflect the true story and she resents the upheaval his presence is causing. The more time she spends with him, however, the more genuine he becomes to her. She realizes his love for the people he cares about is an authentic and deep love…the kind of love she is looking for.
Shaw falls for her. He knows what he wants and isn’t going to give up until he gets it! He loves her strong-willed and stubborn personality and truly adores (like him) how fiercely protective she is of those she loves. He inserts himself into her life…time and time again…until she comes to know him for the man he really is…not what the Hollywood movies portray him to be.
The romance between these two is the best! I truly loved the banter between the two…throughout the entire book.
All the Tin Gypsy series characters are a part of each series so you get to see them all again!
This book was an exceptional read and I am truly excited about the next in the series…Noble Prince!
I feel at this point in the game I can honestly say that I am a Devney Perry success story!! Her writing always makes you feel like you are smack dab in the middle of the story, and her characters feel more like friends. This book is no different.
Presley was stood up by a man that in previous books we knew was not a good guy. She is heartbroken and beating herself up for not seeing the signs. Shaw is a movie star with charisma and sex appeal, and he has entered her life via a movie. At first Shaw is not impressed as she is fiercely loyal to those in her life, and she was not going to allow someone to hurt her “family” anymore. I loved the push and pull between these two. I laughed, swooned, teared up, and fell in love with these two characters. Presley is strong with a hard outer shell, but inside she is sweet and ready to be loved. Shaw is steady and strong, and he is not one to give up easily. Presley and Shaw just may be my all time favorite couple of Devney’s. This book has it all and so much more. I wish I could give it more than five stars!!!
My heart is full after reading Stone Princess.
The stone-faced heroine that we have come to know throughout the Tin Gypsy series will capture your heart and make you want her to be your sister!
Presley shot way ahead to the top of my favorite female heroines in all of Devney Perry’s books! She is a strong, soft, independent, and just so full of heart who doesn’t let anyone define who she is. Shaw, I had no idea of what to expect with his character and I was loved how Devney Perry was able to make him so relatable and the depth of his character will make you swoon!
Not only does Presley grab you, but Shaw will leave you with an ache in your chest and these two characters will make any stone heart melt. Another fantastic book full of emotion, a wee bit of suspense, and so full of heart that leaves you ready for the next!
