Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Stone Princess is the latest book in the Tin Gypsy series, and another hit from Devney Perry!
I’ve been so excited for Presley to get her own book since she was first introduced and after the events in Riven Knight I have been sitting on pins & needles waiting for this book And Shaw & Presley’s story was way more than I was expecting, keeping me on my toes while shedding light on our favorite office manager.
I absolutely loved the banter, and the chemistry between these characters was undeniable. There was just a sense of “peace” and understanding in their relationship, and I was rooting for them from the very beginning.
While I loved the story and characters I felt like there was something missing. I can’t put my finger in it, but I think there was just something extra it needed to feel complete. And unfortunately a big chunk felt like it was just thrown in, which was a little disappointing. But all in all I did love this book, and can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!
Another fantastic book in the Tin Gypsy/Clifton Forge saga. I love this town, these people Devney has created. I was excited to finally read Presley’s story. Presley has always been very guarded. She came from a rough past. I was glad when Shaw came into her life. I loved their hate to love. This book was a little slower for me but still amazing.
Pardon me, I’ll just be over here trying to pick my jaw up off the floor while nursing the biggest freaking book hangover of my life. It’s no secret that Devney Perry is amazingly talented when it comes to writing. Anyone who’s ever picked up any of her books can tell you she’s one of the greats of romance, but Stone Princess is even more incredible than I could have predicted.
There were so many twists in this that I had never even dreamed of, coupled with one of the most epic romances. This entire series has been one that has turned me upside down more than once. Devney took everything I thought it would be and went “Nope, you’ve never seen this before.”
Stone Princess is loaded with so much emotion, so much suspense, so much mystery and so much romance! It made for a story that was utterly captivating.
In this third book in the Tin Gypsy series, a movie crew arrives in Clifton Forge to setup for a movie about Amina’s murder. While the town might be abuzz because of the actors and actresses in their little town, the gang at the garage aren’t quite so happy about having their family business dragged onto film. Lucky for them, the movie crew didn’t approach Dash and the employees of the garage, that is until actor Shaw Valance decides he wants an insider’s view of what goes on there.
Presley Marks’ heart is still healing after being left at the altar by Jeremiah, her fiance and rival Warrior MC member. She’s tired of the town’s pity and just wants to do her job at the garage. The cancellation of her wedding brings up all sorts of feelings about her past relationship with Draven Slater, one of the casualties during the murder investigation that the movie crew is now dredging up again. The reader gets to learn a whole lot more about Presley’s background and how she came to be in Clifton Forge, including a twin sister she hasn’t seen in years.
When Shaw Valance comes to town, he checks out the garage and is floored by everything about Presley. He wants her. She doesn’t trust him at first, but gradually softens toward him until they decide on enjoying each other until he has to leave when the movie shoot is over.
Both Shaw and Presley develop some real feelings for each other, especially Shaw who falls hard for her, and I mean hard! I absolutely loved how their relationship grew slowly and deliberately, building a whole lot of trust along the way. They are so hot together! But Shaw isn’t staying and Presley must protect her heart from being crushed again.
The last part of this book is so so good with some surprises along the way and a very satisfying conclusion to Shaw and Presley’s story that I absolutely adored! Stone Princess might just be my favorite so far in this series. I loved their relationship journey. I also like when an author keeps other characters in the story involved, like Dash, Draven, Genevieve and Isaiah, Lou and Emmett. They all have a bit to play in this story.
Another wonderful installment in this series.
Once again, I am blown away at the raw emotional story that Devney Perry gives us with Stone Princess. Well thought out and unique, this story keeps you completely engrossed in every word that flows on the pages. Honestly, you will devour this book in one sitting. If I didn’t need sleep, it would have happened for me!
The concept of this one was mind blowing. I have been intrigued by Presley since we first met her. Seeing all that she had gone through and the pain that she carried with her was just utterly heartbreaking. Having Shaw show up for the movie and I knew her guard would fly up. But watching it crumble with Shaw was stunning. Even with some misunderstandings, my heart was in my throat as things played out for these two. It was gripping. Emotional. Absolutely everything that I needed for an amazing story.
Overall, this book is just beyond words. I loved the concept. The little details from previous stories. How it all played out and is playing into the next book in the series. I am sooooo intrigued and beyond read for that one as well. If you are a fan of Perry, you need to read this! If you are new to her, you need her words in your life as well as the rest of the Tin Gypsy crew!
Starting a new life in Clifton Forge was the thing that allowed Presley to keep her sanity. Running from the past led Presley to the Clifton Forge Garage. Surrounded by the tendrils of a new life, Presley decided this was where she could find the home she always craved.
Surrounded by bikers, Presley knew a thing or two about motorcycle gangs. What she didn’t count on was having her fiancé be a part of a club that wasn’t exactly friendly to the residents of Clifton Forge. In spite of the obstacles, Presley pushed on and planned a wedding. Then Presley found herself taking on a new role – the jilted bride. Left at the alter on the day of her wedding, Presley found herself questioning everything that had transpired in her life.
Nothing could have prepared Presley for crossing paths with Shaw Valance. The Hollywood hunk has made his presence known after barreling into town for his next movie. Presley wants nothing to do with Shaw or the movie that is centered around the murder of Draven’s former lover. Lucky for Presley – Shaw doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Nursing her broken heart, Presley is determined to keep Shaw at arm’s length. Little did Presley know that the whirlwind that was coming her way landed right next door.
Stone Princess is the latest addition to the Tin Gypsy sage by Devney Perry. This story follows Presley after her sudden status change from ‘getting married’ to ‘left at the alter’. The quest to pick up the pieces of a broken heart will lead Presley right into the arms of Shaw Valance. This duo prove that chemistry is super hard to ignore.
Get ready for another angst filled romance that will find a path woven into the history of the Tin Gypsies. Devney Perry has added another layer to this saga that leaves you longing for more. Simply put – this series is definitely one that needs to be at the top of your reading list!!
I love this newest Tin Gypsy series story. Presley Marks is tired of being the object of pity. After being left at the alter, she is keeping a low profile til the gossip dies down.
A movie production company arrives in town led by handsome Shaw Valance and when he buys the house next door to Presley, she can’t seem to avoid running into him.
I loved the easy pace of this story as Shaw is determined to win Presley over and no matter how prickly she can be, he persists until she drops some of her defenses. Things really heat up and speed up and by the end of the book I was flipping pages in a hurry as the tale rushes to an exciting conclusion! And the hints of another story to come we’re just the thing to leave me wanting more! Stone Princess is Book 3 in the Tin Gypsy series but each book is a standalone story.
-5 Stars!-
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!
I feel like I always say that about Devney’s books, but that is truly how I always feel after I get done reading them. I almost always have no words to adequately say how amazing the book was. This one was no different.
I have wanted to hear more about Presley from the very first time she was mentioned in the other books. I knew there was something about her I wanted to find out. I absolutely fell in love with her character. Tough as nails, but still pretty soft on the inside. She’s awesome and amazing!!!
Shaw…what can I say about Shaw other than…Swooooooon. Who wouldn’t love to get it on with a movie star?! Isn’t that a fantasy of every girl at least one time in their life?! Maybe just me?! Anyway, I adored him. Not your typical snobby famous guy, his character was written differently and I appreciated that a great deal. It was nice and refreshing to see it written differently than the average “movie star” type.
I will not do any spoilers, because I really feel like every person needs to pick this book up and read it to get the full effect and experience the world of Pres & Shaw for themselves. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!
Devney Perry always knows exactly what I need to read and this swoony romance is just perfection. As usual. The Clifton Forge we’ve all come to know and love is back! I’ve been waiting for Presley’s story since the beginning and it did not disappoint! Presley gets all the sexy romance you expect from Devney Perry with an unexpected Hollywood flair! I love the way the two world melded. C’mon what girl hasn’t fantasized about being swept off her feet by a handsome Hollywood actor??? (It’s Chris Evans for me btw) Shaw is everything. He’s gorgeous and sweet and just good good good. Loved this book. Love the romance, love the suspense and LOVED the little glimpse into the characters we’ve come to know and love. Cannot wait for more of this series! Another Devney Perry WIN!!
I am in love with this series, and as always, Devney Perry’s writing. Presley has had this hard, tough outer shell that made her a bit mysterious. I loved the strong bond she shared with everyone at the garage. They were a tight knit family. When Shaw came to town to shoot the movie, he threw a monkey wrench into her life. His determination to get to know her was fun to read. She definitely didn’t make it easy. The suspense that surrounds the characters in each story of this series has always held me captive. It makes it very hard to put the book down. The whole story was fantastic, and I am already anxious for more.
Hollywood Hero In A Small Town
An enemies-to-lovers romance, that takes place in a small town between an on location movie star and a spitfire that enjoys the quiet life. Get ready for Shaw to bring the heat and win your heart.
A hollywood heartthrob comes to Clifton Forge to make a movie. He never expected the fiery pixie he met would change everything.
Shaw Valance is changing things up. He’s tired of playing the hero. He found the perfect script that will allow take him out of his comfort zone and make him the villain. This story compelled him and he just had to make it into a movie. Clifton Forge, Montana just became his temporary home.
Presley doesn’t want Shaw or his movie in her town. Draven was like a father to her and telling the story of the man that framed the man she adored, is going to re-break her heart. Losing Draven has been difficult. This is the last thing her family needs.
Presley tries to ice Shaw out at their first meeting, yet he is not deterred. Too bad he’s irresistibly sexy. She wants him to disappear but she can’t seem to get enough of him. He’ll need to go all in to win her over.
Their start is rocky, but Shaw is no quitter. That man can turn on the charm and he’s really just a good guy. It doesn’t take long for him to sway Presley in his direction, but she makes him work for it. Presley has been through a lot, but sometimes it’s better to take the risk and be happy even if it’s only temporary.
She’s sassy and can hold her own, but she has her own baggage. He knows exactly what he wants, even though trust is an issue. Together they’ll find a confidante and an intense love that is worth any sacrifice. You’ll feel their connection and experience their hurt. Both have their own story’s to tell. The author gives us sexual tension, suspense and some nail biting moments. I love this family of characters that are bonded through love and loyalty. A great read and addition to this series.
I couldn’t wait to get to know more about Presley. So when I heard she was getting her own book, I was excited.
Presley is lost, hurting and didn’t know what to do next with her life. Especially with her past holding onto her. Shaw came into her life at the most perfect time. He is a man that doesn’t take no for an answer and goes after what he wants and he wants Presley.
I really enjoyed this book. While it is on the slower pace, their slow burn love was worth every second. That ending had my heart bursting with love for all these characters!!
And OMG!!!! We are getting more of Scarelett and Luke……YES!!!!! I can’t wait to read more on these two!!
4.5*
I received an advance copy of this on behalf of the author and I volunteered to leave an honest review. My opinion has not been influenced.
I LOVED THIS.
I fall deeper in love with the Tin Gypsy series with each book. Every book gets better and every character gets richer.
This can be read as a standalone, but all the books (so far) deal with the fallout of something that happens in book one, but if you start here I don’t think you’ll lose anything in the telling.
The writing was incredible, and every time I read a Devney Perry book I kick myself for not reading her sooner.
This book focuses on Presley. She has been through a lot and it’s been hinted at in book 1 and 2. It takes place after something that happens near the end of book 2.
The hero of this story is Shaw. I can’t say a lot about what brings him to Clifton Forge because spoilers but needless to say, at first Presley is NOT impressed.
The banter in this is 10/10. Even when their relationship started, they would still go back and forth with each other.
This was one of my most anticipated reads for May and it did not let me down.
Stone Princess was exceptional! It had everything I love in a story. It was entertaining and sweet and gritty and real. I loved the humor, emotion, and drama. I loved the build, the heat, and all the characters. I couldn’t get enough!
I loved this addition to the Tin Gypsy series. Shaw and Presley have such great banter and chemistry. I was so excited for Presley’s story and it did not disappoint. Devney Perry again has written a fantastic small town story with just the perfect amount of heat, angst and drama. Five stars for Stone Princess!!!
Love this series, the characters and the world Devney has created in Clifton Forge. The Tin Gypsies are growing and the newest member to the fold was the dreamy Shaw Valentine. This wasn’t as twisty or angsty as the previous two but it did have its moments.
I really didn’t have much of an opinion on Presley Marks prior to this , she was there but not really. So it was great to see her character develop and come into her own. She was a strong formidable woman after her horrific childhood, the life she had carved for herself and finding a new family in the shape of the Tin Gypsies. She even had a wickedly dry sense of humour.
Loved Shaw until I didn’t, he had an arrogant streak but he was good to and for Presley. Not too sure how this character is going to fit into this world, it’s the complete opposite to what he’s known. But I guess we’ll find out because the ending was the biggest dangled carrot for the next book! War is coming !!
5 stars!
Another stunningly romantic story from Devney Perry! A celebrity romance with a touch of drama and intrigue, this book completely swept me away, and I loved Presley and Shaw’s story.
This is the third book in the Tin Gypsy series, and I would absolutely recommend reading these books in order. Though the story is about different characters, the overarching storyline continues from previous books, and this one contains massive spoilers for the earlier two books in the series.
Presley Marks is the office manager at the Clifton Forge Garage. We have seen her in previous books – very much an adopted part of the ‘family’ that the boys of the garage (ex-bikers) have formed. She’s been through hell in her life, but has clawed her way back to stand on her feet and found her place in her quiet country town. But her life took another dramatic turn when she was jilted on her wedding day. The boys at the garage never liked her fiancé, and sure, he wasn’t perfect, but his very public rejection leaves her humiliated and alone once again, so she retreats to her small little life and the comfort that it brings.
But things in Clifton Forge are about to get interesting with news that big Hollywood heavyweights are moving in to film a movie about the town’s infamous murder – the very same that was an underlying storyline in the first two books of the series. And while it may be an attention-grabbing story, it’s Presley’s life, and the story of people that she cares for deeply, and she’s immediately infuriated by the news. Which makes things super awkward when Hollywood’s hottest star, and the movie’s leading man, Shaw Valance, walks into her garage.
It’s hate at first sight for Presley. She wants nothing to do with the charming, infuriatingly gorgeous heartthrob, and she does her best to let him know that. But Shaw feels very differently. He is immediately attracted to Presley, and is intrigued by the quirky, feisty girl who seems to want nothing to do with him. But with the boys building Shaw a custom motorcycle, and him keen to explore the true story behind his movie, he takes every opportunity he can to keep hanging around.
OMG, this is such a fun set up! Here we have this gorgeous movie star with a heart of gold who can have any woman he wants, and snarky, bad-tempered Presley who wants nothing to do with him. It’s funny and so entertaining, and with each and every encounter you can feel the chemistry building.
“Presley Marks, would you go to dinner with me?”
“This sounds more and more like a date. And my answer is still no.”
“But you still haven’t given me a good reason.”
She shrugged. “I think you’re ugly.”
My laughter filled the room. Christ. When had a woman called me ugly? … “Liar”.
Shaw is a sensational romantic hero! He’s honest and friendly, confident but not cocky, he’s a down-to-earth sweetheart who hates being in the limelight and just wants a simple life, and he’s one determined alpha who is prepared to fight hard for the girl that he wants.
Their romance develops beautifully and realistically. They slowly open up to each other, and things naturally progress. It’s sweet and fun, and sexy as all hell, and I could feel the emotion building between them. They aren’t perfect, and though the relationship is functional and honest (which I love), mistakes are made, but those hurdles work to provide a great base for them to build on, and create an epic love story that completely owned my heart.
“The fight wasn’t won. Yet. But I’d walk away the victor. I’d win Presley Marks.
She was my anchor.
She was my heart.”
Despite all the fun banter, flirtation and sexy times, there are some truly emotional moments in this book. Presley’s backstory is heartbreaking, as is the story behind Shaw’s movie. Her heartache over her loss, and the tender way that past events are talked about are really emotional, and it’s a big part of the story as Shaw comes to realise that his movie is so much more than just a story. There’s also drama and suspense as danger from Presley’s past threatens the happiness that she is so desperate to claim. It’s not as intense as the previous books, but it works well with the story, and leads into the next book really well.
Of course, Presley’s surrogate big brothers, Dash and Isaiah are there supporting her the whole way, and I feel like we get to know the two remaining boys from the garage – Leo and Emmett – a whole lot better in this book, and I’m really excited for them to have their stories told. But next up is new Police Chief, Luke, and based on what we know of him and his love interest, it’s going to be a wild ride!
I loved this book! Presley and Shaw are fantastic characters and their romance is gorgeous and heartfelt with just the right amount of drama. And that epilogue…. Swoon.
I’m loving this series, and can’t wait for more!
5 stars.
Stone Princess by Devney Perry is book three in her Tin Gypsy Series, a series of interconnected stand alones.
While SP can easily be read as a stand-alone, I recommend to read the books in order. The previous books are Gypsy King and Riven Knight.
SP is Presley and Shaw’s deep and poetic story. An emotional read and my favorite in this series.
Shaw is the A-List Hollywood actor, new to Montana to put A and D’s story on film.
Presley just had the worst day of her life, now she’s back at the garage and works the reception. She has a rough past and my heart was breaking for her. She’s a heroine after my heart, battered but strong, prickly and with a heart of gold, pure gold.
Yes, she hasn’t had much luck with her relationships, but her family at the garage loves her deeply.
Both meet and she really, really wants to hate him, but their insta everything is literally too strong.
I started redaing and it took exactly one chapter and I fell in love with Shaw and Presley. I loved meeting characters from previous books. SP is an unputdownable read, 5 Stars.
Me being a Devney Perry fan is no secret, I’ve read all of her words. But there was something about Stone Princess that kept my kindle glued to my hands. I think it was finally getting to know Presley. She has always been around, in the periphery of the other stories in the Tin Gypsy series, but this one was all her.
I loved that little spitfire. She was feisty and bold. Kind and unbelievably brave. She had her heart smashed more than once in her life, but she kept getting up and doing what she had to. She was a survivor. And as she was building herself back up after once again being let down in a major way, the one and only Shaw Valance had to strut his sexy self into her world.
Swoon city with a cherry on top! Equal parts charming and arrogant but he had the goods to back it up. He was a man on a mission when he rolled into Clifton Forge but he wasn’t expecting Presley. The way she challenged him. Made him pause and think. Made him smile. And he did everything he could think of just to spend more time in her presence.
There was no denying the connection these two made. They were electric between the sheets. But, it was the quiet moments where they just let go and be themselves that really made me melt. But there was always a countdown on their time together. And when that day came, everything changed.
Whew! Devney Perry pulled no punches and put me through the ringer with the final third of this book. A few unexpected guests brought the drama and danger. And stuck in the middle of it was Presley. Talk about pulse pounding! I couldn’t read fast enough to learn how it would end. And it all happened so fast that my mind is still spinning.
Full of family, redemption, forgiveness and love, Stone Princess was a true page turner. Presley and Shaw’s journey was playful and passionate. And that ending! It had me smiling and jumping around with the rest of the crew from the garage.
5 Stars
Presley has been a bit of mystery throughout the Tin Gypsy Series. She is family, but still keeps some secrets. Well, in Stone Princess we get answers to many of the questions we have wondered about and at the same time, watch her finally meet a confident man who can handle, and appreciate, every part of her. Shaw plays a hero in the movies, and his arrival in Clifton Forge leaves the Tin Gypsy family on edge. A movie about the past is not what any of them want, especially when the lead actor is playing the lead in some of their nightmares. The thing is, Shaw is difficult to dislike, and try as they may, he creates a niche for himself in the town amongst the people. The path to happily ever after is not easy for Presley and Shaw, both of them feel heartache and pain, pleasure and ecstasy, but in the end tragedy brings this crew closer, the past becomes part of the future, real heroes exist and love conquers everything!
