Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Simply fantastic! I love being back in Clifton Forge… a place that’s starting to feel like home.
I’ve been waiting for Presley’s story for what seems like FOREVER!! This was perfect in every way. For Presley to get her fairytale ending was everything I could have asked for and so much more!
We know a bit about Presley’s past if you’ve read the other books in the series, however this could be a standalone if you wished. But in this story, Presley finally comes into her own and before you know it she’s swept away by the dashing Shaw Valance.
After being jilted at the altar, everything changes for Presley. With Shaw filming a new blockbuster movie in the town, Presley is t sure what to make of him. His Hollywood, movie star ways aren’t going to make her swoon….
However soo. shaw shows a different side to him. Sparks fly and the chemistry is high!!
A wonderful book in this series which I devoured from start to finish!!
I couldn’t put this book down! I knew having read the other books in this series that Paisley’s book was going to be very interesting to say the least. And because she is such a force in this series and because of the way things were going down with her, her guy couldn’t be anything less than spectacular! And boy was he! Tyler is the perfect person for Paisley and just what she needed in her life…even though she didn’t think so. I can’t say enough good things about this book so just go get it, you will not be sorry.
Presley’s story was a wonderful read! I loved seeing her grow in to her own skin. Shaw was dreamy and sweet, really the perfect guy for Presley, yet he could also be a pain in the patootie! I really enjoyed Presley putting him through the hoops to chase her, even unintentionally, leading to comical exchanges, great banter, and steamy moments!
I am so glad I already have the next book on preorder because after that ending….Luke has his work cut out for him!
This was such a fantastic addition to the Tin Gypsy series! I’ve been waiting on pins and needles to get Presley’s story and I was not disappointed. Stone Princess is definitely my favorite of the series and I can’t wait for the next one. Highly recommend!
My favorite thing about Devney Perry’s characters is the growth from the first sentence to the last. Her characters are messy, flawed and trying the best they know how. Presley Marks fell in love with the wrong man. It devastated her. But when the right man comes along, Presley fought it against it. Presley just might be my new favorite character. I adored her. I loved her thoughts, her hopes, and dreams.
Shaw Valance is everything Presley didn’t think she was capable of obtaining. Their banter was foreplay and they mastered it. Peel back the layers and it’s two vulnerable people looking for the best in each other and holding on tight.
Presley and Shaw were lovely and they will stay with me.
New Release! A jilted bride meets a swoony Hollywood star in this latest small town romance from Devney Perry. (Standalone)
I love the Tin Gypsy world!
After hearing that this was going to be Presley’s story, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I fell in love with her and was so intrigued by how her story would play out based on the events in the previous story. Presley may be little but dang she is fiercely strong! Her world has been turned upside down but she is determined to push through and live her life for herself. Everything is going according to her plan until Shaw Vance blows into town. Shaw is one of Hollywood’s hottest actors and is in town to star in a film based on Clinton Forge’s most infamous murder. Presley has some very strong feelings regarding the movie and she can’t wait for Shaw to leave town.
The banter between these two was so dang fun and I ate up every moment! Shaw and Presley couldn’t have been more opposite but they were truly made for each other. I loved watching htem find common ground and being able to find a happily ever after that no one deserves more than Presley.
If you have read the first two books in this series, you have already been entranced by the mystery of the town’s infamous murder. However, the author brings this mystery back into the story line in this third book in a unique and capturing way. I was sucked into the book from the very beginning and I enjoyed every second.
I never want to say goodbye to Clifton Forge and all the characters I’ve grown to love so much.
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
I love this entire series! If you’re looking for some great reads set in a small town with swoony heroes…this is the series for you!
Love this series!
This series features strong female characters that aren’t afraid to fight for what they want. It is centered on the little town of Clifton Forge, where recently a murder rocked the town. Everyone is trying to move back to normal, but suddenly there is a movie company coming to town to dramatize what was the town’s nightmare.
Presley Parks has worked at Clifton Forge garage for the last ten years. It’s the place where a motorcycle club hired her and protected her completely. The club was disbanded, but the garage and it’s reputation held strong. Presley is trying to recover from being left at the alter, worse, her fiancé said he forgot! She’s not fond of men or love at the moment. In walks the star of the movie, to her safe place at the garage. Immediately her cold princess comes to the forefront, and even though Shaw Valance is drop dead gorgeous, she will not let him under her skin. Why would he, famous movie star, with actress’s and models on his arm be interested in her.
Shaw was fascinated with Presley from the moment he first saw her at the garage. She was cold, rude and angry, but he found every excuse he could to see her. He finally felt like he was gaining some ground, gaining her trust, even feeling like she might actually like him. Then he ended up moving next door…and their feelings sparked.
Secrets from Presley’s past start interfering with her life brought on by an appearance from her ex, Jeremiah. She now realized what a fool she was to believe he was a good man. Shaw was right there for every step. The romance sizzled, but the danger isn’t over.
Hot romance, suspense and enjoying the characters from the first two books makes this a great read.
I’m just gonna day this: You *thought* you liked Devney’s books. Nope. Y’all, this is totally a top favorite of alllllllllll of her books. I have loved all of the Tin Gypsies books so far but this one is my new absolute favorite. I loved Bryce and Dash. I LOVED Isaiah and Genevieve. I FREAKING LOVE
Shaw and Presley.
If you’re looking for someone to compare her to just stop. Don’t. Devney has one of the most unique voices in this vast field of talent and only gets better and better
A new enemies to lovers by Devney Perry! Yes, please!
Stone Princess is the third book in the Tin Gypsy series. Presley Marks is slowly rebuilding her life after the humiliation after being left quite literally standing at the altar after her fiancé ‘forgot’ he was supposed to be getting married. The last thing she needs is some Hollywood bigshot coming to Clifton Forge and raking up the recent past that her friends and family were central to and making a movie about it. When she meets Shaw Valance there is an instant attraction on both sides even though they are complete opposites. Now all Presley has to do is convince Shaw that no really does mean NO!!!
This series just keeps getting better. It has everything you could want from a book. Strong characters that have flaws. The heroes aren’t perfect. They’re human. They make mistakes and jump to conclusions but ultimately aren’t afraid to apologise when they’re wrong. They also know what they want and nothing will stop them when they set their sights on someone or something. The heroines are all strong willed women, capable of standing up for themselves. The writing is amazing especially the dialogue between the H/h. Reading the exchanges between Shaw and Presley was almost like watching a tennis match, the chemistry was so palpable between them. The underlying plot with the rival biker gang that started in Gypsy King continues in Stone Princess building the tension and setting the scene for the next book involving Presley’s sister Scarlett and local sheriff Luke Rosen and I can’t wait to read Noble Prince releasing soon.
I would definitely recommend reading this series in order of release so you can enjoy the story fully.
No one does small-town romance like Devney!
I’m so enjoying this new series by Devney Perry!
From previous books you get introduced to Presley but not much of her so I didn’t really have an opinion of her. But, in this book we finally get her story. Not only that but throw in Shaw and it makes for great reading you don’t want to miss. This book isn’t as angsty BUT don’t let that stop you from reading because I love how this book focuses on family. Not your typical family but I love how these characters have formed a bond and how these guys stand united and support Presley through it all. I love this small town backdrop and the characters Devney has created for her readers. I can’t wait to see where the next book picks up!
I knew from the moment I read the blurb on Stone Princess that this one was going to be my favorite of the series so far.
And, y’all. I don’t want to brag or anything? But I was so right.
I adored Shaw and Presley. I loved their deeply charged banter, their off-the charts sizzling heat, and the pure way they loved each other. I loved every twist and turn that their story took. I have a weakness for these sort of superstar hero falls for average/everyday heroine stories – not that there was anything average about Presley. Her fierce loyalty, giant heart, and completely lovable personality jumped off the pages in a way that made me want to make her my very best friend. Her light shined every bit as bright as Shaw’s — and that’s saying something when you consider that he’s an actual superstar, and an alpha to boot. They were sheer perfection together and my heart may not ever be ready to let them go.
I also love how the Tin Gypsy family bond grew stronger in this story. I absolutely loved watching those bad boys rally around their token little sister. I adored how they protected her and how she, in return, protected them right back. The family bond they have formed is so deeply satisfying and I can’t seem to get enough of it.
No doubt about it, with Stone Princess, the Tin Gypsy series has officially hit its stride. I was hooked on every word: from the breathtaking romance, to the pulse pounding suspense, to the most epically heartwarming epilogue. This was straight up, pure kindle crack – absolutely unputdownable – and holy cats, I cannot wait for more!
*4,5 stars*
I have really been loving and enjoying this series since the first book and been patiently waiting for Presley’s story as she’s been a badass through the whole storyline. Even though you can read this book as a standalone, you’ll understand more reading this series in order and not getting too confused 🙂 Another great story and can’t wait to read the next one!
Presley’s been left at the altar and never saw it all coming. Now trying to move on isn’t very easy but she does the best she can but builds a wall around her heart to protect herself from getting hurt again. When big movie star Shaw comes to town to film the movie based on the horrible story that Presley and her loved ones went through, it’ll change everything in its course. The more they get to know each other, the more Presley starts to realise that he’s not at all like he’s being portrayed in the gossip columns but that there’s so much more than meets the eye. Their bond starts to grow stronger but when her past comes back into town and brings one more disaster with him, there’s another person that will turn her life upside down once more. Will Presley and Shaw get a chance to be together? Or will her past stand in the way?…
First things first: I’m going to highly recommend that you read the Tin Gypsy series in order, particularly because there’s a continuing story arc that plays out in books one and two–Gypsy King and Riven Knight, respectively–and that story arc is what is being made into a movie in book three. There are also bits and pieces of Presley Marks’s relationship with her ex in the earlier novels that provide a clearer picture of why everyone around her saw what a mistake it was for her to marry the guy. It doesn’t hurt that all these books are as well-written as they are, so you honestly have nothing to lose by diving in and hopefully falling for this cast of characters as much as I did. If you’ve never read anything by Devney Perry, this series is an excellent starting point. I promise, you won’t regret doing so!
Ah, Presley is a heroine after my own heart! She reminded of a Mentos candy–a bit of a hard shell but a softy on the inside. She had love and loyalty towards those she considered family, and she had good reason to be as wary of other people as she did. I loved getting to know Presley because she certainly had a story to tell, and it was a heartrending one. I was curious to see how being with someone like Shaw would affect her, but then she affected him just as much, making it clear that falling for each other was going to bring certain changes to both of them. There’s also a hint of mystery here, although not as prevalent as in the first two books, and there’s a particular story line that will carry over to the fourth book, Noble Prince (Can it please be November already?!), although Presley and Shaw’s story does get the happily-ever-after that it deserves, so no frustrating cliffhangers to worry about here. Stone Princess was a fantastic read about love, trust, family, and resilience, and it snags five-plus stars.
