Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

I am loving this new series by Devney Perry and with the release of book three, Presley Marks and Shaw Valance’s story, I just might have found my favorite Perry heroine. I love Presley’s honesty and the fact that she’s upfront with everything and while she holds herself back from actually doing too much living after she gave her heart away and it was broken, there’s just something about her that resonates with me and makes me cheer for her to find her true happily ever after.
Presley Marks’ new moniker, Stone Princess, may be fitting do to her standoffish personality and her ice-like attitude when it comes to the opposite sex, but she also has every reason to guard, not only her heart, but her entire existence. Saying that her past wasn’t easy is an understatement so making sure that her present and future are everything she wants them to be is her first priority, so I can’t blame her for need to put her heart on lockdown when she was jilted at the altar.
There’s quite a bit to learn about Presley and Shaw and the time is given to allow that information to be dispensed while the characters also work through their own issues and get under each other’s skin as antagonistically as they can, especially Presley. She doesn’t want to lower her walls for anyone, which means that Shaw has his work cut out for him and even though Presley’s chilly reception during their initial interactions should have prevented him from trying, he’s not one to be deterred. I loved watch Shaw’s determination to get what he wants and the fact that his persistence pays off when, slowly but surely, Presley loosens up and gives him parts of herself that she thought she would never offer to anyone again.
Presley and Shaw couldn’t be more opposite, but maybe that’s exactly why they’re drawn to each other and why despite this foreign new world that Shaw finds himself in, he’s willing to remain and to figure out his place because Presley is more than worth it.

This is Devney Perry’s third installment in her Tin Gypsy series and by far my favorite. Small town romance with a bit of edge, suspense, and of course hotness—loved it. A page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Stone Princess is a must read! Devney Perry Stone Princess
It. Was. Perfection. This was the book I didn’t realize I needed in this series. I mean I knew I needed it, but I didn’t know how much. It also left me absolutely obsessed with the next book coming because this one opened the door wide open to the 4th book at the end. I cannot wait. BUT, back to this book. This book was beautiful and fun.
Presley packed a punch. You really had no idea what was coming when you started, and even once we got towards the end I was continuously caught off guard.
Presley has lived a hard life. I say that but you don’t understand till you start reading. All we really know going in is that she was stood up at the alter and we all greed that was prolly for the best. What we don’t know is the reason and all the baggage that comes along with it. Presley has decided to just Live for herself and the LAST thing she wanted in her life was a famous and gorgeous actor.
Enter Shaw.
These two, I loved them non stop. They both had their hangups and pasts but watching the angst and chemistry between them two was amazing. You can feel it page after page and when things finally heat up, make sure you are ready.
This book deals with all the problems looming above these two and you get a perfect future peek into all our favorite couples in the epilogue. Grab this. Stat. It was everything.
Devney Perry continues to carve out a special corner of Romancelandia for her unique voice with this new release. It’s small town, wide open spaces and emotional, heartwarming love at its very best!
I just love this series. Devney Perry is an amazing author and knows how to change her writing with each book she writes.
I think out of all the authors I’ve read she is the master at doing a 180 with each book. You won’t get the same plot or characters from book to book or series to series.
Shaw and Presley are an unlikely couple and Devney doesn’t write your typical star meets commoner book.
I loved that Presley finally gets her story and stands up to shaw when most won’t.
Love the angst, heat, and suspense I’ve come to expect in any Devney story. She never ever disappoints. Please one click Stone Princess you will be flipping pages quickly and won’t be able to put it down.
Presley Marks got a text that ruined her life. She was left at the altar by a tool bag. Or that’s how I felt about him anyway! She returns to her lifestyle the only way she knows how- throw herself into her work. Until she hears about a movie that will be set in Clifton Forge, about the murder that happened.
Shaw Valance is a movie star, and he is set to star in said movie, but wants to know all about the town. He wants to make sure he knows all there is to know and can play the role the right way. He is dreamy and *swoon* there’s no way that Presley can’t notice him. But of course, they butt heads like no other- I loved that about them. Honestly their banter, I lived for it.
Once the filming wrapped, Shaw was going to go on his way- but ended up buying the house next door. And then, wouldn’t you know it- Presley’s ex come back to town and the real rivalry starts- the one for Presley’s heart.
Devney once again give us the goods when it comes to romance, drama, heat, and a little suspense.
I was waiting for Presley’s story and I was not disappointed, you won’t be either.
Devney Perry can tell a story like no other! Her Tim Gypsy series is darker, which is not usually my type of book but I really enjoy reading them.
Stone Princess picks up three years after the events of the first couple books. Instead of being focused on solving the murder of Amina, it is about a movie being made about the case. Presley has been left at the altar and her world gets turned upside down even more when Shaw, an actor in the movie, moves in next door while filming. Though the focus of the story is a bit different than the rest of the series so far, it is no less interesting or engaging.
After being a secondary character in the first two books, I liked getting to know and understand Presley better. Her past struggles, relationship with her ex, and loyalty to her friends play a part in what unfolds as she tries to move on with her life.
Shaw was a great guy and a great match for Presley. He had a genuineness that you wouldn’t expect from most actors, and he cared about the movie being accurate and not overly sensational. It was easy to see why Presley began to fall for him in such a short time.
I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series before this one. The romance is a standalone story, but a lot is revealed/discussed that would be a spoiler for the plots of the first two books.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
Devney is the queen of small town romance, and I love a good enemies-to-lovers story!
Stone Princess has been one of my top most anticipated reads from the second I finished Riven Knight earlier this year! As soon as this beauty landed on my kindle I could not contain my excitement for it! I was so happy to jump back into this world and for Presley’s story! This book absolutely hooked me from the get go! It kept me glued to my kindle. I loved it!
4.5 stars
Devney Perry delivers once again with this thrilling small town romance featuring a swoony A-List Hollywood heartthrob and sassy garage office manager. Oh my goodness!! I loved Stone Princess so so much. The third book in the Tin Gypsy series was full of heat, drama, amazing character chemistry and suspense. What a great addition to the Tin Gypsies.
I don’t think I could love these characters any more. Presley and Shaw were so good together. Electric. Their push and pull was straight up delicious. I could not get enough of the banter between them.
Presley is hands down my favorite Perry heroine. After the end of Riven Knight, I was absolutely desperate to get her story. She endured so much in her life from her ex leaving her at the altar to her terrible childhood. It made her into a stronger, more independent and guarded person. As for Shaw, well he just a dream. After what he did in this book to get to Presley, he has a permanent spot in my heart.
Devney Perry has quickly become one of my go to authors in the short time since I started reading her books. I can’t wait to read more especially more Tin Gypsies.

Stone Princess is book 3 in the Tin Gypsy’s series. This is not a stand-alone and book 1 and book 2 must have been read beforehand.
Stone Princess is Presley’s story. Her fiancee’ stood her up at the alter. Even thought her family and The Clifton Forge Garage are there to support and help her pick-up the pieces of her life, she is still humiliated and down. Enter Shaw Valance. Shaw is a big movie star in town to film a movie about the murder. No one at the garage trusts the big Hollywood star. Shaw suddenly decides he needs a custom Harley built and finds himself at the garage numerous times to check-out the progress but his hidden agenda it to get to know Presley better. Shaw and Presley finds themselves growing closer but something from Presley’s past throws a wrench in their plans.
Stone Princess is just as good as Devney’s previous books. I really love her alpha/protective men taking care of their women but the women are strong, independent in their own rights. I love getting see the other characters from the previous Tin Gypsy books and how their live are going.@16pe
Stone Princess by Devney Perry is the third installment in the Tin Gypsy Series. Even though this is the third book in the series it can very well be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the whole series you will not be disappointed. This is a great addition to the series and the series keeps getting better and better. Ms. Perry hooked me from the first word until the last. I could not and did not want to put down this very well written story. The twists and turns keep you turning the pages and if that isn’t enough the writing makes you feel like you are right smack dab in the middle of the story. You get to visit with characters from the previous books which ois always a nice feature. The chemistry between the characters is awesome. Just like every other book by Ms. Perry this want has you anxiously waiting for the next book. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.
If there is one thing that Devney knows how to do it’s leave me wanting more! As soon as I finished Stone Princess my first thought was how long until Noble Prince is out, the answer is not soon enough!! In this book we get a deeper look at Presley and her hidden past as she meets Shaw. Shaw is a Hollywood heartthrob with a notable past and Presley tries to tell herself she wants nothing to do with him! The story that results is nothing short of amazing!! Devney has hit another home-run, do your self a favor and read this book!
I fall more in love with Clifton Forge and its residents with each of the books in the Tin Gypsy series by author Devney Perry. I had been looking forward to Presley’s story since the very first book, but I was not prepared for how much I was going to absolutely adore both her and Shaw. As usual, Devney sucked me right in, introducing me to another couple that goes right up on my list of favorites.
Along with great character development, there’s the usual kiss of suspense that is part of so many of Devney’s books, and I really appreciated the way that she continues to weave the stories of each character, each couple, into a beautiful and love-filled tapestry. The Gypsies and their circle are a real family, which is evident in every one of the relationships in these books.
This series just gets better and better, and I can’t wait to see what life holds for each of the characters. Luke’s book is up next, and, I have to admit, I kind of fell in love with him in STONE PRINCESS, so cue the breathless anticipation, because there’s no doubt in my mind that NOBLE PRINCE is going to deliver in the best way. If you haven’t started the Tin Gypsy series yet, you are truly missing out. Grab these books, and enjoy.
An emotional swoony read that will keep you turning the pages until the very last one.
Title: Stone Princess (Tin Gypsy series – book 3)
Author: Devney Perry
Genre: Contemporary romance
My rating: 4.5 stars
Am I surprised Stone Princess would be fun, thrilling, and entertaining? No. I honestly can say I’m not. In fact, I would be more surprised if it was a flop. I’m no newbie to Perry’s writing; she’s typically a one-click author for me.
What makes this story so appealing? Presley. Her story was delightful to read. I loved seeing her be comfortable in her own skin. Thought she and Shaw complimented each other well. I fell in love with Shaw’s charm, sweetness, and wit, and I’m so glad I was able to obtain a copy of this fantastic ARC.
Definite reread!
Devney Perry is a one click author for me. If she writes it, I will read it! We met Presley in Gypsy King. From the start you could tell she was a strong woman with a big heart. The only problem, her fiancé Jeremiah who certainly didn’t deserve her. Enter Shaw, a sweet, sexy actor who’s not full of himself and values Presley from the second he sees her. One of the things I’ve loved about this series is the family this group of people has built and how they take care of each other. Shaw proves from the beginning he’s worthy of Presley and a spot in this family. Stone Princess is not as angsty as the first two books in the series but it does have an air of mystery to it and I’m excited to continue reading about these characters and following their stories!
Okay, first of all, does Devney Perry write bad stories? Also, have I asked this before? I think of this series Stone Princess is by far my favorite, and I say this with having an overwhelming (insert eye roll) sense of being entirely over movie star books. Luckily Devney is amazeballs, and I need not have worried about the movie star aspect of this book; it’s minimal compared to the captivating storyline.
Okay, okay on with the book. So, Stone Princess is the third book in the Tin Gypsy series about Presley, the blonde pixie sprite that works at Dash’s garage. Her hero? Shaw, the mega alpha movie star in town to film. If you haven’t read this series, I’m going to leave it there because I don’t want to give EVERYTHING away.
What I can tell you is, Devney does what she probably does better than anyone else. She gives us a great story, and right when you feel like okay, this can’t be it; she hits us with something we didn’t see coming. Then she makes our hearts ache, hits us with some more WTF was that and then brings it all together to that ah-ha moment and suddenly you’re in love.
Presley and Shaw were two beautiful characters that I was fully invested in from beginning to end. I LOVED that Presley didn’t let Shaw off the hook. It was just so good. I feel like I can never recommend Deveny’s book highly enough, and Stone Princess is no different.
Loved. Every. Word!
This is book 3 in the Tin Gypsy series and I was immediately sucked in from beginning to end.
I’m a little obsessed with this series as each installment has beautifully told a riveting story about different characters surrounding the Tin Gypsy MC.
This is Presley’s story, and I couldn’t wait to read her story and see who she really was and what she had to say. The author does NOT disappoint in telling us all her secrets, and twisted dysfunctional family secrets.
Well paced, and well developed, Presley came to life and, oh… man what a story she has!!
In the previous installments, Presley is the lovable office manager at the service station run by the Gypsy King MC. She’s always been one of the guys keeping them all in check and the “little sister” that was loved, and fiercely protected. Except Presley is pretty fierce, independent and just badass with a huge heart of gold. She’s also nursing a broken heart after some devastating circumstances.
Emotional, suspenseful and overflowing with passion. This insta attraction romance takes a few twisted turns as she meets and swoons over movie star Shaw.
What happens I’m not saying, but this author always inserts an unexpected suspenseful twist that has you say whaaat!
And the ending… say whaat?!
This is the third in the series and I loved this one!! It was awesome. It’s about Presley and Shaw and boy do they have some chemistry as we’ve seen in the other books. I loved the tension in the other books and this one was even better. I have felt so sorry for Presley that it made me happy that she was getting her happily-ever-after. There’s a lot of ups and down in this though, so you have to read it when you can savor it
