Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

I adore this series and the way Devney writes complex characters with incredible emotional stories. Stone Princess is a perfect blend of heart and this series of standalones is an absolute must read.
Enemies to lovers, incredible romance!
It’s no secret that Devney Perry is one of my favorite authors. Throw a jilted bride story into the mix and I am all aflutter!
A small town, enemies-to-lovers with a swoony hero and jilted bride… yes please! You are not going to want to miss this emotional and heartwarming story by Devney Perry.
A swoony, small town, fantastic enemies to lovers romance from Devney Perry!!
4.5 STARS!
Devney Perry once again delivers a story that will have you enthralled from start to finish! Stone Princess is the latest edition to her Tin Gypsy series, where each character is woven into her intricate web of storytelling.
Presley Marks is this spikey sprite who manages the office at the garage. She’s a vital member of the Clifton Forge family. Jilted at the altar, she’s turned into a stone princess with a heart of ice. She soon realizes what a total douche her ex was and vows to never fall so easily for a man again. That is until a popular Hollywood actor comes knocking down her walls. She finds him annoyingly gorgeous; however, she denies her attraction towards him at every turn.
Shaw Valance is A-list actor. Famous. Wealthy. Gorgeous. He comes to Clifton Forge to film and star in the movie based on the biggest scandal to ever hit the small-town of Clifton Forge, the murder of Amina Dayley. Shaw is meant to be focused as he is taking on a role outside his norm. In this movie, he will play the role of the murderer. To fully portray his character in the correct light, he’ll stop at nothing to discover the true facts of what really happened. But Shaw quickly becomes intrigued by the quaint town and meeting Presley is like a breath of fresh air. She’s the first woman to not fall for his charm and he soon sees that he cannot fight his attraction towards Presley’s fiery personality.
Together, Presley and Shaw were electric. Their banter was playful and witty. There was no escaping the feelings they began to develop for one another.
“Kissing Shaw hadn’t felt wrong, not in the moment. Feeling his lips on mine was like coming home after a long day. It was like finding the sanctuary, the solace I’d been missing for months. The boat of my life stopped rocking. The waters of my soul calmed.”
“And any time I thought of Montana, I’d remember the woman with eyes bluer than the big sky. Or maybe I’d just think of her, no trigger needed. Maybe when it was time to go, there’d be no leaving her behind.”
The pivotal moment where the drama comes forth is what influenced my lowered rating. The main characters lost their way momentarily due to a lack of communication and the misunderstandings almost lead to their demise. But, wowza does she set up the scene for the fourth book! Though I must say I’m not a fan of the woman who will be the heroine in Noble Prince…. Just yet. So we will see if that particular fact can he swayed!
Stone Princess is a heartwarming read filled with lighthearted moments and an air of mystery. Devney writes the best epilogues, this one being my second favorite, I was just so giddy inside as I read it . This is, hands down, a must read!!
A heartwarming, emotional, enemies-to-lovers romance set in a small town!!!
4.5 STARS
Stone Princess is the third novel in Devney Perry’s Tin Gypsy series. Though a complete standalone, I recommend that you read Stone Princess after its predecessors, Gypsy King and Riven Knight, as the Tin Gypsy series is interconnected. In doing so readers will gain a more in-depth understanding of the plot, the different character arcs, and how the author has woven the series together as a whole.
Stood up on her wedding day, Presley Marks is left hurt, humiliated, and the topic of the Clifton Forge gossip mill. However, this doesn’t break her spirit. Through this heartbreak, Presley has her own personal relevations which ultimately begin to reveal her persistence, and her perseverance when faced with adversity. No longer filled with naivety about her ex-fiance’, Presley won’t make the same mistake twice. Her heart is closed off to anyone not part of her Clifton Forge family. Presley’s animosity towards men is evident, especially once she meets Shaw Valance.
Shaw has come to town to star in a movie based on the horrific death of Amina Dayley. Except he will not be playing his stereotypical good guy hero role. In this movie, he will play the villian, the murderer who stole Amina’s life and to him it is a very big role. One that will show his versatility as an actor. Now, he may be a Hollywood movie star but he is not all glitz and glam. He’s down-to-earth, full of wit, yet determined and hardworking. Meeting Presley gives him a new appreciation of Clifton Forge, Montana. She’s the blue-eyed beauty who is cold as ice but nevertheless, she’s the realness Shaw has been yearning for.
Shaw’s presence in town irritates Presley to no end. He’s constantly showing his gorgeous face at the garage where she works as the office manager and now he’s unknowingly moved his perfect behind into the house next door to hers. But soon the tension between the two hits an all-time high and a connection that goes beyond physicalities is formed.
With Stone Princess, Devney Perry took a different approach. The element of mystery is not as heavy as it has been in the previous books. However, there is a very light theme of suspense that is entwined in the characters’ backgrounds and the overall plot. Though I found this book to be a stellar addition to a completely captivating series, at times I felt a disconnect to some minor plot points as well as some of Presley’s actions. Regardless, Presley is a force to be reckoned with. She’s little but oh-so-mighty and her character growth past the traits of a jilted stone princess bride is admirable.
Lighthearted, heartwarming, and heartfelt, Stone Princess is a swoony and banterful romance with one of my favorite epilogues from Devney Perry to date!!
Devney Perry writes books that draw you in from the first page. And keeps you entranced until the very end. You are left wanting more, because that is how compelling her storytelling is. It’s face paced, combined with characters that you want to know everything about. She brings their love, happiness and pain, to life so well, through each chapter.
The Tension, the banter, the passion, in this book, stole my heart. Each book in the Tin Gypsy series is so special, this group of friends, this family make reading these books so easy to get lost in.
Presley and Shaw have this beautiful, tension filled connection. Shaw knows what he wants and Presley has walls up to protect herself. Their witty banter and sexual tension make for such fun interactions every time the two are together.
Presley cant handle anymore pain or disappointment, so she keeps her emotions to herself and pushes Shaw away whenever he tries to dig deeper and discover who she is. Shaw is so much more than just a “Hollywood heartthrob”, and the more he’s around Presley, the more time he spends in this small town, the more he longs show her man he really is.
Presley Marks is once kick*** character. She fought to survive, to leave her past behind. And make a life she loves, surrounded by people she loves. No matter whats thrown at her, she rises up and keeps going. I loved her sassy attitude. Her spunk. Her love for her little family that she built at the Clifton Forge garage.
Shaw Valance is a swoony, capture your heart kind of guy. I loved his character. He’s strong and confident, yet vulnerable. A man who goes after what he wants. He let the past hold him for to long, and had to learn how to move forward. This hero will capture every readers heart!
Lies and secrets. Old ghosts and grudges. It’s small town meets Hollywood. A perfect blend of worlds colliding, that leaves you breathless and hungry for more. Stone Princess is another fantastic addition to this series. I am SO ready to see whats in store in the next book!

An enemies-to-lovers, small-town romance like no other! Devney Perry is a wordsmith, and I cannot wait for everyone else to find out about Stone Princess!
You know, I’m really running out of compliments for my reviews of Devney’s books. I can’t say how much her words have been important to me in this time of social isolation. I’m having a hard time reading right now, as a lot of people are, but this book was like a cozy afternoon drinking hot cocoa with friends. It warmed my heart and made me feel like I was with my friends after a long time. Yes, I’m that kind of crazy person that thinks characters in books are my friends, and everybody in the garage is my friend. 😉
In this book we learn so much more about Presley, she is such a rich character that it’s impossible to not fall in love with Shaw and her from the beginning. If you have not started the Tin Gypsy series yet, I truly recommend reading the series in order, as they are connected standalones.
Gypsy King and Riven Knight, the first two books in the Tin Gypsy series, were exceptional, and I’ve been waiting with bated breath for Stone Princess since Devney Perry laid the breadcrumbs for this story in Riven Knight. This is the story of Presley Marks, the little but fierce office manager of the Clifton Forge garage, and Shaw Vallance, Hollywood A-List actor.
Heartbreak and humiliation trail Presley from Riven Knight deep into Stone Princess. She may put on a brave face, she can claim to be a stone cold woman with ice in her veins, but she’s flesh and blood and feelings like the rest of them. Presley is just more adept at concealing them than most. Shaw Vallance, weary of his fame and the Hollywood game, craves real and genuine—authentic. In Montana shooting a movie, he meets the only woman who doesn’t fall at his feet or for his charm, good looks and million-dollar smile. She is less than impressed by him, or at least it that’s how it seems. After all she’s been through, Presley is also looking for something different—a real, honest man with a steady job, a kind smile and humble roots. With his flashy good looks, his million Instagram followers and the legions of adoring women, Shaw is not at all what Presley has in mind. Too bad the chemistry between them rivals the pyrotechnics in Shaw’s action movies.
Perry penned a heart-tugging, heart-racing tale in Stone Princess, and I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. Angsty emotion, steamy romance and an air of suspense collide in a story that was enthralling, addictive and unputdownable. Five smooches from me for Stone Princess by Devney Perry!

Another phenomenal book by Devney Perry!
I’ve loved all the Tin Gypsy novels and couldn’t wait to get Presley’s story! I was curious to see who would have the guts and determination to win her heart after everything she’d been through and in walks Shaw. Holy swoon worthy Hollywood hotness! These two were HOT together.
I loved how persistent Shaw was despite Presley’s best efforts to push him away and convince herself she didn’t like him.
I wasn’t expecting that little bit at the end with her ex and was left with my mouth hanging open.
This was a wonderful story about strength, perseverance, and second chances.
„She was real. I craved real.”
What happens when Hollywood meets small town? We get an unputdownable and heartfelt story that gives all the feels! I’m so happy that I could get back to Clifton Forge and to read Presley’s story. What I didn’t expect was the storyline and the hero! Devney definitely caught me by surprise with Stone Princess and I couldn’t be more happy about the outcome, because this book just proved that opposites in fact attract and that first impressions can be deceiving.
I fell in love with Presley instantly. I had a weak spot for this heroine in previous books in the series, but her own story showed the deptht of her character. She’s sassy, strong and fierce.
Shaw was the biggest surprise for me, but he had my heart in his grip right from the start! Although he’s rich, famous and sexy, he’s down to earth and laid-back. I loved to learn about his background and how he became an actor.
Their chemistry between these two was off the charts, but Presley didn’t make it easy for Shaw. Good thing that he was determined to win her over, because they are pure fire! The banter was enjoyable and I really liked the push and pull between them.
And let’s not forget about side characters! I love the bond that connects all garage employees. This crew always has each other’s backs. I adore that Devney showed that we don’t need blood ties to have a family.
This book has many unexpected twists and turns that left my mouth hanging. The suspense is still hanging in the air and mixed with the wonderful slow burn it resulted in addicting and captivating read. I’m obsessed with this series and I can’t wait to know what else Devney Perry has in store for us next!
The Stone Princess is the third book in the Tin Gypsy series, it’s Presley Marks’ story of being humiliated in front of her family of choice. The Slater’s tried to warn Presley that Jeremiah was a snake in the grass and should not be trusted. This petite firecracker tries to hide and cover-up her heartbreak but it’s futile when the hottest actor becomes her next-door neighbor. This story will invoke all your emotions it’s a fantastic ride! I truly love this series and look at these covers the artwork is amazing.
This is without a doubt one of my favorite books by Devney Perry. I will always recommend Devney when asked who is a favorite author. I love her writing so damn much and with every book I become more obsessed. The Tin Gypsy series has been altogether an amazing series, because with each new novel we get to see the progression of the other couples and it’s just so amazing.
Although to be frank, I wasn’t fond of the idea that Shaw Valance was an actor and wasn’t looking forward to reading this novel, because I had an idea in my head of how he would act and how cocky he would be, well ladies and gents… I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. I stupidly thought Devney was going to let me down, but I am here to say, SHAW & PRESLEY WERE EVERYTHING.
From the start of the book, I love the push and pull. I liked how Shaw would always come around and even when Presley said she didn’t want anything to do with him. That gave it a slow burn element which I LOVE! When the two finally collided, it was steamy. Shaw and Pres did not keep things PG. Slowly we see they are perfect for one another. From the teasing to the I loved how Perry gave us pieces of each character slowly. Little by little we learn what makes the other tick.
I read and listened to this novel and it was just so perfect. I love the nature of how their relationship started. From book one when we met Presley I was intrigued. I knew she had a story to tell and I couldn’t wait to hear it. Shaw blows into town not wanting anything, but to get the movie filmed, little did he know fate had other plans.
To sum it up, Devney Perry is my one of my favorite authors. The way she so easily pulls me in, with the promise of small town feels, heartwarming moments, and steamy elements, it makes it a perfect read. Stone Princess does not disappoint. As I said one of my favorites.
Oh my goodness this series is Amazing.
It just keeps getting better and better with every single characters story.
This is Presley’s story.
These books are linked together and it is best if you read them in order believe me you want to read them.Binge them back to back because once you start at book one,you won’t want to stop.
After being dumped humiliatingly at the alter on her wedding day,Presley vowed she was done with men.Her so called Fiance was a member of a rival Motor cycle club,to the one her boss was once a member of,The Tin Gypsy’s.There is more to this rivalry between the 2 MC’s ,you need to read the other books before this to understand.Clifton Forge had become a town that had caught the attention of Hollywood, because of a Murder that had occured there. So now a Movie was being made about the story of that murder and the cast and film crew rolled into town to film there.
Actor and all round hottie Shaw Valance has a part in that film he plays the killer and it is his production company that is financing the movie so he has alot riding on the success of this film.
But when he meets Fiesty Presley and moves in next door to her,he didn’t expect to fall in Love and to be embroiled in so much drama ,it was like living in a real life movie.
Presley knew her fling with Shaw was temporary so she was fine with having him in her life, until she felt herself falling for him.But once the Movie was done,he would be going back to L.A….and the thought unsettled her.But their new romance was in danger from an unexpected source that Presley thought she would never have to deal with again.
I Loved this book OMG There is just so much juiciness to get your teeth into with this story,so many secrets and shocks…ups and downs, twists and turns.
Stone Princess had me captivated from begining to end,and as Presley and Shaw’s suspenseful Romance unfolded I just became more enthralled.
Devney Perry’s writing is just perfect and I ate up everyone of her words.
I cannot wait for the next two books.
Brilliant !
5 Stars.
I’m seriously fully invested in this series. Each book is unique because each book follows a different couple but each couple bring their own fabulous story to the table. Presley and Shaw’s story have a hint of enemies to lovers but with a lot more. He’s a Hollywood star, she’s the manager of a small town garage but when those two get together fireworks. There are so many things I love about this book, it’s fully of conversations, action pact and sexy as hell moments. Not going to lie, I’m ordering pizza for my family’s dinner tonight so I can jump into the next book.
My absolute favorite of the Tin Gypsy Series!! Biker Princess meets Hollywood heartthrob, what could be better?! Fall in love with Presley and Shaw as they fall in love with each other. Stone Princess is the tale of a girl who adopted herself in to a biker family and became the tough woman you would expect. After she is left betrayed and broken-hearted, the last thing Presley Marks needs is for Hollywood’s golden-boy to worm his way in to her everyday life and safe place. Shaw Valance knew there was something unique about Presley the first time he saw her. He was only there to make a movie, but somehow, more than the beauty of Montana captured his heart. Stone Princess is classic Devney Perry with a little edge. You will be begging for Noble Prince at the end of book 3 in the Tin Gypsy series.
***This is a standalone with interconnected characters. You do not have to read books 1 & 2 before reading Stone Princess.
Presley and Shaw’s story brings heartbreak, suspense and lots of snark! I am so loving the Tin Gypsies and everyone they bring into their lives. Loved that Shaw might be a famous actor but in Presley’s life he is just a guy visiting her town. He also isn’t afraid to get involved in everything that happens in the ongoing war between the Gypsies and the Warriors. Had to jump right into the next book.
