Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé—according to his text—has forgotten about the wedding.Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight. At least it was, … spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Ok woa!! I’ve been a HUGE Devney Perry fan since the beginning. Her books just get better and better!!!
At the beginning of Stone Princess my heart was broken for Presley. She was just as the title says…a Stone cold Princess. All it takes is one look, one wink, one smile from the swoony Shaw Valance and she changed…it wasn’t fast, it wasn’t easy but he won her over!! Because who doesn’t want a swoony actor/ex cop in their life? But, as always happiness and bliss don’t last long. Soon, the bane of her existence brings back some bad memories and bad drama!! Bc what’s a good book with out a bunch of drama and suspense thrown in?! This book BLEW my mind and I need to process the events. It was definitely unexpected and I loved it!!!
Noble Prince doesn’t get released soon enough!!!
Devney Perry has once again created another swoon worthy and captivating story with Stone Princess. I simply adore Clifton Forge, Montana and every single character in that town. The Tin Gypsy series is turning out to be one of my favorite series! The small town is charming and the characters are amazing. I loved getting to know some new characters, while getting to revisit some of my favorites from the first two books. I devoured this book in a day. This is becoming a common occurrence with Devney’s books. I’m basically obsessed with all of them. I simply adore the small town setting and wish I could live there myself. This book didn’t hold the same suspense and mystery as the first two books, but it had a whole lot of angst, passion, and smoking hot chemistry!
Presley Marks is my soul sister. I absolutely love her character. She’s sassy, fierce, independent, strong, resilient, and so full of fire. She really channeled her inner badass when Jeremiah, her fiancé, stands her up at their wedding. How does one forget they are supposed to get married?! Presley did some inner soul searching and realized that it was probably the best thing to happen to her. She deserves better than Jeremiah and his excuses. She was never Jeremiah’s first priority, but his third or fourth. She deserves to be treasured and treated as an equal. She deserves so much more. Gosh, I love Presley so much. I don’t think I would have handled being a jilted bride as well as her. She handled that situation like a boss. Her personality is just so uniquely her. She dresses how she wants, does her hair how she wants to, and doesn’t let anyone tell her how to live her life. I admire that. I think it stems from her really crappy home life (which I won’t talk about because it’s so integral to the storyline and I don’t want to give anything away). She’s such a strong female lead character and I can’t wait to see more of her in the coming books!
Shaw Valance starts off pretty cocky and arrogant in the beginning of the book, but that changes pretty quickly. I really love how his character progressed throughout the book. I think a lot of that had to do with Presley’s sass with him and the fact that his money did nothing to impress her. I’m not normally into characters who are movie stars, but I loved Shaw. He was strong, confident, cocky at times, kind, thoughtful, and deliciously dreamy. I like that Shaw came to Clifton Forge to get a feel for the town and the people who experienced the horrible crime of Amina’s murder. I don’t think the movie was the best idea, but it spoke to him. He wanted to play a character that was more than just the golden boy. And by playing Marcus Wagner, he definitely got that. I would have loved to see more scenes of Shaw while he was acting. That would have been so interesting and really cool to see how he gets in the zone for all his scenes. I also loved that he used to be a cop! I have a major crush on cops in books. Sigh. They are always dreamy alpha males that I can’t get enough of and Shaw fits that to a t.
Shaw and Presley together are absolutely FIRE! I love these two so much. They have such great banter and sass between them. Presley didn’t care that Shaw was famous and had a ton of money. She absolutely hated that he was doing a movie about Amina’s murder and she made sure that he knew that. Shaw absolutely loved that Presley was willing to go toe-to-toe with him and that she spoke her mind. Presley didn’t care if Shaw liked her or not, she was trying to protect her family from further hurt by his movie. I loved that these two were always so honest with one another. They let each other in when they didn’t do that with anyone else. It was refreshing and riveting to watch unfold. Since the beginning of the book, I was rooting for these two to find their happily-ever-after with one another! They fit so well together. They both push one another to be their best selves and they were always encouraging one another to find what makes them happy and purse it. I love the dynamic between these two.
Overall, this book deserves 5/5 stars! I absolutely adore the story of Presley and Shaw. I found the story sweet, salty, swoon worthy, and captivating. I love revisiting the Tin Gypsy’s world and Clifton Forge, Montana. I enjoyed meeting new characters and revisiting some of my favorites. This series owns a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to read the next book. Scarlett Marks and Luke Rosen and are going to be fire and ice and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes us.
