It’s just the same plot from thousands of stories and t.v. shows. You know before the third chapter who all the players are and exactly what’s going to happen down to the last page.
describing someone with Aspergers as “he could pick up on someone’s emotional change before they ever knew it was going to happen” shows ZERO understanding or the most cursory amount of research into how Aspergers presents.
Making a big deal of the officer/knight in shining armor leaving the hospital door open for the interview then saying “the detective and I had spent almost an hour together behind closed doors.”
She made a ton of money with her app but she lives with her mother to help make ends meet?
The traumatized boy leaves his mother with a gun and a maniac to go upstairs with the cop AND the cop just lets that happen?
It goes on. And on, and on the inconsistencies and every page you’re just completely pulled out of any effort to get into the plot.
Knowing all along you know exactly who the bad guy is and who’ll end up falling in love again, after all.
blah
scary that this could be real. well written with enough family interaction, emotional as well as support.
Excellent book -couldn’t put it down -loved it
Enjoyed reading this unpredictable thriller
Great story.
I found this book very disappointing
The book was very predictable from page one. The characters were not engaging at all
I found it off-putting that the main character kept referring to her attraction to the police officer working the case of her missing son. I would imagine that romance would be the last thing on a mother’s mind when her child has been kidnapped. It was also very obvious who the bad guy was. Why it took so long for her to realize it made no sense. There was a sample of the author’s next book at the the end. I didn’t read the sample because I don’t plan to read any more by this author.
loved the writer I know you going to have another soon.
It was scary sounded like a true story ,kept on my toes
Predictable, subpar writing
I personally had an idea of who they were looking for but was still holding on until the last page just to see how it all went down! Great read!
I’m sorry but I did not tHonk the book was a mystery I guessed the killed by the time i was less than half done. Very boring
Confusing book. No thanks
Obvious, predictable. Not particularly well written.
Really enjoyed reading this book. This is a good auther.
I really didn’t think much of it,, I’m halfway through and I have it figured out..I’m tired of reading the words” she muttered ” I enjoy books with a little more story to it.
Basic suspense novel. I did enjoy the tort line, but early on I identified the culprit. Maybe because I read so e issue was to obvious early on. But, then it wAs a good read and I was happy to be correct at the end.
The plot was extremely predictable – no surprise twists.
Only downside was the stalker should have easily been identified before end…that was a bit strange.
