A senseless slaughter leads Lucas Davenport down a twisted path in this thriller from the #1 New York Times bestselling author. Lucas Davenport has seen many terrible murder scenes. This is one of the worst. In the Minnesota town of Wayzata, an entire family has been killed—husband, wife, two kids, dogs. On the wall, in blood: “Were coming.” No apostrophe. There’s something about the scene that … There’s something about the scene that tugs at Lucas’s cop instincts—it looks an awful lot like the kind of scorched-earth retribution he’s seen from Mexican drug gangs. But this is a seriously upscale town, the husband ran a modest software company, the wife dabbled in local politics. None of it seems to fit.

I’m a fan of Lucas Davenport. Loved this book!
Love the Davenport books!
Another great Sanford, Lucas Davenport thriller.
My favorite author with another winner.
I like John Ssnford’s writing and his colorful characters. They are so real that I’d love to meet some of them!
The Davenport books are all entertaining. The main character is a strong person and he always finds a clever way to get the bad guys.
I love all the pray books. They keep you flipping pages. They are suspenseful and keep you guessing. They are great reads.
Love all the Prey books – being originally from St. Paul, I know so many of the sites in Sanford’s books, it’s fun to reminisce about them. And one can’t beat the gritty cop action and twists and turns that keep one’s interest through to the end!
Love all the Prey Novels
This author never disappoints. Have read most of his books. Always great.
I enjoyed it. I highly recommend.
Fantastic! Another great read from Mr. Sandford.
Love the Lucas Davenport series
Another great novel from John Sandford! Enjoy!
Another solid entry in the Lucas Davenport series.
Started off a little odd in that it didn’t jump right into the case that forms the core of the book but with a situation that starts one of the sub-plots.
A complex tale that sometimes was hard to follow but enjoyable none the less.
